I couldn't log on that day so i missed this....more so I couldn't really bring myself to log on. I mostly kept to myself sunday but glad to hear everyone is still honoring those who were lost that day even after 10 years.

  5. [18:00] Aryte Vesperia: Meeting start. As a reminder: all questions, comments (etc) are to be held until given the opportunity to speak. When that opportunity is provided, be sure to raise your hands. Failure to do so may result in dismissal from the meeting. [18:00] Aryte Vesperia: Statistics Members: 314 Cadets: 2 Applications New: 17 Accepted: 3 Denied: 9 Review: 5 Combat Defensive: 119 Offensive: 17 Allied Assist: 0 [18:01] Aryte Vesperia: Diplomatic notes: wider deployment and use of the Titan League group in progress; expect more EE and 39th visitors over the next couple of weeks. Please be certain not to accidentally (or purposefully) mow them down. Grim Troops waged their “last raid” on Titan last night. It was essentially a “how many planes can Grim put in the air to bomb the Ordo spawn door at once” raid, mixed in with a dash of “looks guys, my jetpack lets me av fly and I’ll tp my friends on top of the Ordo tower.” To top it off, it ended with a “look, a sim wide nuke and then a griefer trying to crash the sim.” Good riddance. [18:02] Aryte Vesperia: Thatguy Andel wishes for me to tell all of you he loves you. His new computer will be in on Monday. That said. Unit reports? [18:02] Eriksson Foxtrot raises hand for Terra. [18:02] Aryte Vesperia: Mr. Foxtrot. [18:02] Eriksson Foxtrot shouts: From Invictus: This week crusades were lead (comma) planets were purged and heretics were burned. Kiwi also went into syrupt withdraw so all in all a pretty standard week for us. New Jessie will not be an option for squad raids so stop asking to go (comma) you know who you are >:/ Final note (colon) There will be more raids later this week (comma) so if you didn't make it this week you will have a chance to make it up on a later time (keep your raid quota up!). [18:03] Eriksson Foxtrot shouts: From Evalidus: I'd like to welcome Kithsuneca Eilde, Daeshana Sapeur and Reinhardt Stenvaag to our squad. With these new additions, Evalidus is nearing it's upper limit, so if your interested in the squad now is the time to make your wishes known to either Huttser Ishelwood or Awanken Wasp. Aside from that, Evalidus members, check the squad forums, several threads on there you must read. [18:03] Eriksson Foxtrot shouts: From Insidiae: The year is 2011. It is a time of great innovation and content advancement. It's also a time of Mesh and new recruits. We don't even know whose side we're on. We never had a choice of what happened to us. Aryte has more power than the Lindens. Everyone's fighting for power, for control. We'll never stop cooking. Contact Krow Ames or Bracket Crowley to join Deus Ex: Insidiae Revolution. Also; Krow never asked for this. [18:04] Eriksson Foxtrot shouts: From Praescius: Praescius this week: http://premisepunchtag.files.wordpress.com/2011/05/bubblegum1.jpg [18:04] Eriksson Foxtrot shouts: From Saevitas: Pretty layed back week for Saevitas. Raids continue to go out, and trainings are set to pick up again starting this Monday. On a final note, the concept for the A-5 armor is in que for production. Something for all the current members to look forward to. [18:05] Eriksson Foxtrot shouts: As a general note from myself for Cohors A: Cohors A in general has been phenomenally active this week. I'd like to personally give Kudos to all squads for their efforts in achieving the weekly goal and getting out a few squad raids! Makin' us all proud you lot! [18:05] Eriksson Foxtrot shouts: Cohors B: Thatguy Andel coming back soon! :D [18:06] Eriksson Foxtrot shouts: That concludes the Terra report for this week. [18:06] Aryte Vesperia: Thank you. Mr. Schuman? [18:07] Xoza Tyron shouts: Ethan had to run AFK sir, From Astra I will announce [18:07] Aryte Vesperia: Carry on. [18:07] Xoza Tyron shouts: From Ethan, Astra: SINCE I FORGOT LAST WEEK, the first thing I want to do is congratulate both Achtai and Sebris. Achtai has stepped up to be CO of Reapers, and Rykiana is her new XO. Rei has been going though some stuff, and wanted to float around for a while. Sebris has also become an officer. His hard work and outstanding service to the Ordo on multiple fronts make me very glad to see this finally happen. I'm proud of him, as is Nikki, and all of you should be as well. Sebris is walking proof that with enough dedication, devotion, and patience, anyone can become an officer, including you. [18:07] Xoza Tyron shouts: Activity wise, Sebris is getting another event with 2142 going on Friday night. Letalis will also be running a few infantry raids this week, and Achtai and Xoza will both be hosting at least one event for their respective flights, with 24-48 hours notice, so try to be there. There will also be other assorted Astra activities throughout the week, so be sure to pay attention to notices and group chat. You're going to want to start banking QP now. [18:08] Xoza Tyron shouts: Branching off from that, is the topic of QP, and why you want it. We have a lot of stuff coming down the pipes in very short order. The most notable of these is the Malice class gunship, which will be an unlock. Let me state this next part in caps for emphasis: NEW JESSIE NOW ALLOWS AIR TO GROUND COMBAT AS A STANDARD, EVERYDAY COMBAT TACTIC WITH APPROVED AIRCRAFT. THE GUNSHIP WILL BE ON THAT LIST WHEN IT IS FINISHED, SO IF YOU HAVE ONE, YOU CAN ATTACK INFANTRY WHILE IN NEW JESSIE. Following behind that comes our naval development, which includes a pretty badass frigate that doesn't afraid of anything (which should be rezzed right now), a cruiser, and a battleship. Somewhere in that mix, we'll also be upgrading the dropship, and our next generation of fighter (Project Phantom, which can be seen in its current stage of development here: http://imageshack.us/photo/my-images/14/phantomproject0001.jpg/ ) will also enter service. Overall, with New Jessie allowing air to ground combat and us working with Ark and 21 [18:08] Xoza Tyron shouts: 42 (39th may be joining in as well soon), things are finally starting to look up for the world of air combat. [18:09] Xoza Tyron shouts: That is all from Astra sir [18:09] Aryte Vesperia: Thank you. [18:09] Aryte Vesperia: Any additional reports? [18:09] Drasamax Python raises hand for the IEA. [18:10] Aryte Vesperia: Ms. Python. [18:10] Drasamax Python shouts: From myself for The Imperial Education Administration: Schola classes have started to pick up this week since we got a few new cadets. \o/ Armatura is still lacking activity however. And for Ludi some NCO-A classes have been being held and this makes Zero and I happy to see. :] Oh and those Ludi Deacons aswell would be happy too I'm sure. [18:10] Drasamax Python shouts: Lets see, what I have here to mention this week: Schola, like you probably might of heard during the last meeting is going to be rewritten sometime over the next few days by the Imperator and some IEA folks hopefully. I have been collecting a list of opinions from all kinds of people on what they think we should do to Schola in terms of adding or removing to improve it. If I haven't Imed you before about it feel free to IM me now if you wish to tell me your opinion if you have one. [18:10] Drasamax Python shouts: Another thing that relates to the IEA: Since Chronus is going to be going under construction to be a training based SIM for many things throughout the Ordo including Palaestra sometime in the near future. IEA plans to get some space over there for some rooms and rezzer courses (benefits Schola P6, Armatura, Ludi and some things IEA wants to try to do in the future) and such which will allow them to be made a bigger specifically the combat based ones since they are kinda small currently. Nothing however is set in stone yet. [18:11] Drasamax Python shouts: Now that I'm done rambling about what happened this week. If your interested in becoming a Schola/Armatura Magister you can find the application here: http://forums.ordoimperialis.com/index.php?/topic/13701-iea-scholaarmatura-recruitment-application/ Or if you already are a magister and want to be a Ludi NCO-A Magister go here: http://forums.ordoimperialis.com/index.php?/topic/14184-iea-nco-a-academy-application/ That is all from the Imperial Education Administration. [18:11] Aryte Vesperia: Thank you. Any additional reports? [18:13] Aryte Vesperia: All righty. Moving on. [18:13] Aryte Vesperia: > Development [18:13] Aryte Vesperia: Progress this week . . . hm. First up: Autocrat released early in the week; she will replace the Infensus immediately. Infensus auth honored automatically. Be sure to go grab the new vehicle as soon as you are able. Alike the Tyrant/Ira, you may continue using the Infensus, but it will no longer be issued under normal circumstances. [18:14] Aryte Vesperia: The first of our new fleet vessels has been completely modeled. Although Agares Tretiak insists it is a “gun cutter” and not a “frigate,” for our purposes it will remain a frigate. The vessel features double turrets, torpedo/bomb capability, and limited space for dropping troops from orbit. It will not act as a substitute to the dropship in most occasions—but the carrying capacity will assist in scenarios where we are limited down to a single craft. [18:14] Aryte Vesperia: Look out the window behind me. :] [18:14] Jayce Iredell: pics plox, all my rendering is off. [18:15] Jayce Iredell: :C [18:15] Aryte Vesperia: The Malice is coming along nicely. Flight core is solid and operational. Weaponry is mostly online. The major hurdle left to overcome is the unlock tiers that are being integrated into the craft. For those of you who don’t recall: the Malice will feature several levels of unlock, permitting users to customize their craft to a degree through weapon selections. The fleet vessels will likely include this same system, provided it goes well. [18:16] Aryte Vesperia: > ART [18:16] Aryte Vesperia: A big shout out to everyone—thank you for all the interest, use, and embracing of the ART system. It continues to impress me. It is really, really catching on. We will be holding an ART 1 tomorrow, 5:00 PM SLT. Monday, I will be holding an ART 1 at 1:00 PM SLT, and then an ART 2 at 5:00 PM SLT. As soon as the first Tier 3 class graduates, availability of ART sessions will greatly increase. Tier 3 folks will be utilized to assist in future courses as instructors. [18:18] Aryte Vesperia: > Scheduled Raids [18:20] Aryte Vesperia: > TS3 [18:21] Aryte Vesperia: Oops. [18:21] Aryte Vesperia: Whisper durp. [18:21] Aryte Vesperia: > Scheduled Raids Mister Dave 3 suggested something that I have a lot of affection for: scheduled raid events. We used to do these regularly, but have strayed away from them over time for several reasons—one, because scheduled events usually draw large crowds without any guarantee of a target, and two, because random raid events happen all the darn time. [18:22] Aryte Vesperia: However, Dave3 pointed out something that I think is great: if a scheduled raid winds up not having a target, it is a great time to call an impromptu training. I totally concur. We will be pushing for at least two scheduled raid events weekly. [18:23] Aryte Vesperia: Now! TS3: [18:23] Aryte Vesperia: > TS3 Some weeks ago, a vote was cast on whether or not to transfer to TS3 over Ventrilo. The vote ended in favor of TS3, but we’d been lagging on making the move for various reasons. After discussing the matter with the officer core, the benefit of transferring does seem to grow more apparent—from those in the discussion, I garnered an understanding that a fair number of individuals experience major delays in transmit on Ventrilo, while TS3 lacks that problem. [18:24] Aryte Vesperia: Although I understand there has been some back and forth on the topic of switching and I recognize both sides of the argument, I do see benefit in moving forward with the transfer. [18:25] Aryte Vesperia: I originally was a naysayer and a strong believer in /not/ switching, but I genuinely feel TS3 could be a beneficial change—both functionally and system impact wise. I will be examining the platform more thoroughly over the next couple of days, setting up security protocols and users to prepare for a seamless hop. [18:28] Aryte Vesperia: > 28AUG11 [18:28] Aryte Vesperia: Tomorrow will mark the last Sunday of the month . . . soooo you know what that means! Free day. We will secure the region for the duration of the day and permit casual dress. Administrative functions (ART/meetings) will continue. Otherwise, you are welcome to relax, play games, have random practices, drive around vehicles (within reason; don’t crash the sim), so on and so forth. [18:31] Aryte Vesperia: > Keynote [18:32] Aryte Vesperia: Tonight, I would like to talk a bit about “career paths” within the Ordo—specifically, in the sense of providing some guidance for folks at the entry-level areas of the enlisted pool. As a side note, I will be grabbing someone who is . . . artistically inclined and having this all mapped out on a sort of flow chart. It will be posted in the Schola room, forums, and also used as a recruitment tool. [18:33] Aryte Vesperia: Now, this is somewhat hypothetical in nature—as each individual has a pretty limitless amount of choices, paths, and opportunities (etc). This is, however, a fairly clear cut list of options. [18:35] Aryte Vesperia: As a base line, the Ordo is designed so that an individual can progress in any direction they wish or remain in any position they wish—there are varying tiers of responsibility and doors that unlock with each step toward a high position of responsibility. At the core of this is our rank system: to the Ordo, rank means responsibility. We do not award upper end NCO positions (or even NCO positions) without an expectation of some sort of responsibility on the part of the holder. For example, an E-4 assumes the all encompassing and important role as a mentor, an educator, and an enforcer. Whereas an E-6 typically assumes the role of a command NCO—someone responsible for a unit, or part of a unit. [18:36] Aryte Vesperia: It all begins with Schola. Upon entering the Ordo as a cadet, your path is fairly linear: you have Schola to complete. There are really no options here. After graduation, however, things start to pan out. [18:37] Aryte Vesperia: At E-1, every member gains the ability to start making decisions—raid participations, defense participations, training participations, promotion exams. But beyond that, every E-1 gains the ability to pick a primary division (Terra/Astra), an entry level unit within a primary division, and participate within the more advanced training program of Armatura. [18:38] Aryte Vesperia: At E-2, members of both primary divisions gain additional abilities. Namely, to make decisions on what their career is going to look like—will it be administrative, combat, or a mix of thereof? E-2’s, although not always apparent, gain that all important capability of being /recruitable/ for most special units. For example, Letalis, the Apostles, and all of the elite Cohors A units look at the new E-2’s as potentials for their squads. Not to mention, all of the administrative divisions such as Tactica, IEA, and IAC become open doors (most will accept inquiries/applications, and hold until you are E-3). As a side note, it is also a prime time to finish Armatura. [18:41] Aryte Vesperia: At E-3, the options explode—every administrative unit and every traditional combat unit is now an option. Curia, IAC, IEA, Letalis, Invictus, Evalidus, Tactica—to name only a few—recruit and accept members at the E-3 level for induction to their squads. At E-3, the ART system (traditionally; rank requirement waived right now) opens up, along with many other unique training programs (armored academy, for example). [18:43] Aryte Vesperia: I'll end my rank-by-rank assessment there, so as not to steal my thunder on the chart. Haha. Nevertheless, I believe that gives a decent outline as to a taste of options individuals have. That said. There's always guidance available at an individual level, so never be afraid to speak up. [18:43] Aryte Vesperia: Promotions will be up tomorrow. Thank you all for coming. Dismissed.
  6. [17:58] Aryte Vesperia shouts: Meeting start. As a reminder: all questions, comments (etc) are to be held until given the opportunity to speak. When that opportunity is provided, be sure to raise your hands. Failure to do so may result in dismissal from the meeting. [17:58] Aryte Vesperia: Statistics Members: 314 Cadets: 4 Applications New: 11 Accepted: 1 Denied: 4 Review: 6 Combat Defensive: 131 Offensive: 18 Allied Assist: 0 [17:59] Aryte Vesperia: Diplomatic report: surprisingly, our defense activities have actually been on the rise. It was expected that with school, we would experience a lag there . . . buuuut, that does not seem to be the case. Offensive deployments have dipped slightly, but have maintained just under the three a day expectation. As such, we’ve had a pretty good week all around. Abroad, militaries remain rather tumultuous—Grand Federation had a coup, an uncoup, and a re-coup over the course of a couple of days. Initial reports indicated GF was dead, but they appear to be clawing toward some level of survival. [18:00] Aryte Vesperia: Unit reports this evening? [18:00] Ethan Schuman raises his hand in the lag [18:00] Aryte Vesperia: Mr. Schuman. [18:01] Ethan Schuman shouts: I'd like to start this week's report by thanking and congratulating those who showed up to the skirmish with 2142 last night. I've heard nothing but positive feedback from it, so I'm glad to hear that everyone had fun. I'd like to do it again this next Friday as well, so I'll see if I can get Sebris to arrange it. If things turn out well again, we'll move to make it a regular thing. I personally feel that it'd be a great way to not only let members of both groups mingle together in an atmosphere of good sportsmanship, but also a great way for each group to show off, test, and receive feedback on new things in development, like our gunship and the project 2142 is currently working on. It absolutely delights me to see two groups that have had issues in the past putting those aside and just having fun. I hope it ip and the project 2142 is currently working on. It absolutely delights me to see two groups that have had issues in the past putting those aside and just having fun. I hope it's a trend we can continue. [18:01] Ethan Schuman shouts: Speaking of projects under development, I have yet to see it myself, but Nikki tells me the gunship is moving along nicely. Likewise, Disembodied is progressing with our frigate, but I'm not sure how complete it is. The last high priority project under development is our new mesh fighter. Under the now official project designation Phantom, the new fighter will feature multiple flight modes that combine our traditional sit with Nemesis style sit and attach style flight, as well as a new forward thrust flight style. Traditionally, I've been a huge opponent of forward thrust, but Ark's concept fighter is amazing, so I think it's worth a try. [18:02] Ethan Schuman shouts: ...and since it seems the notecard didn't save my flight summary stuff for the week, I'll post that in our forums later. That's all from Astra for the week. [18:02] Keller Vesperia (keller.teichmann) raises his hand for Terra. [18:02] Aryte Vesperia: Awesome. Thank you. [18:03] Aryte Vesperia: Keller? [18:03] Keller Teichmann: It's been a pretty strong week for Terra so far, though activity was down in areas (probably because of school). With Hollow and Firefox absent, there wasn't much going on up top (and thankfully Terra didn't burn down while they were gone because I would be the one to blame. :[). Without further ado, Cohors A reports! [18:03] Keller Teichmann: (apparently 3.0 doesn't let me shout, wonderful) [18:03] Keller Teichmann: From Invictus; "Overall Invictus had an extremely productive week! Yesterday we went on a couple of squad raids and made people shiver seeing a wave of Ordo overwhelm their defense line almost as quickly as hollow trying to crack a joke. Tonight there will be a roster posted of activity based on times you guys gave me so expect more events to be held finally I will like to have you guys take part of ART tomorrow if possible, would mean a lot to Aryte." [18:04] Keller Teichmann: From Evalidus; "Not alot happened in Evalidus this week with internal development continuing. In other news, here is some free dubstep: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Jsw3TaZbOno" [18:04] Keller Teichmann: From Insidiae; "Bracket Crowley has finally succeeded in his assassination of Afevis and has taken over as XO of Insidiae. Pay no attention to the afevis behind Praescius. Also: cookies were retained during said assassination, and now taste 100% More piratey. :>" [18:04] Keller Teichmann: From Praescius; "From Ookami for Praescius: Well it's that time again, yet another Praescius post. What up with it, well here by we been active for quite some time and still maintaining it. Our number are starting to grow and we're getting stronger everyday. On top of that Afevis will now be assuming CO position for Praescius, Congratz to him. Also Recently Praescius Lead a Squad raid to AN, and we achieve victory. They beg us to leave, but we kept beating the hell out them that they payed aryte 50l just to get us out of there. Overall Praesciuis had an awesome week full of fun and activity. Don't forget, wanna join and experiance all the fun and exciment? Join Praescius, contact both Afevis Sodertelge and Ookamiwulf lemton for more info about it." [18:04] Keller Teichmann: From Saevitas; "Once again, a fine week for A-5, despite a close call with a syruping incident from Kiwi. On a note of recruitment, A-5 has begun looking into several possible hopefulls, if you're someone who is interested in Saevitas, make sure you send either Stirn of Singularity an IM!" [18:04] Keller Teichmann: That is all from Terra. [18:05] Aryte Vesperia: Thank you. Any additional reports? [18:05] Drasamax Python raises hand for the IEA. [18:05] Aryte Vesperia: Ms. Python? [18:05] Drasamax Python shouts: From myself for The Imperial Education Administration: Few classes held in Schola this week which I understand is slow right now because of the amount of cadets left and if they are active or not. No classes held in Armatura this week. Nothing for Ludi either so it'd be appreciated if some are held for next week. (Hint hint those of you who can teach NCO-A especially.) [18:06] Drasamax Python shouts: Not much else has gone on this week in the IEA besides removing some inactive magisters, I'd say things are just slow all around. There is a planned Schola revamp that will rework our Schola program sometime but there is no definite date yet when we'll start working on this. [18:06] Drasamax Python shouts: If you have not seen this topic yet Kaska Czarny posted a NCO-A sign up for those interested in taking the NCO-A classes. It can be found here: http://forums.ordoimperialis.com/index.php?/topic/14573-ordo-nco-academy/ That is all from the Imperial Education Administration. [18:07] Aryte Vesperia: Thank you. Final call for reports this evening? [18:08] Aryte Vesperia: All righty. Moving on. [18:08] Aryte Vesperia: > Development [18:08] Aryte Vesperia: Initial testing of the new primary HUD appears to be going well; no substantive issues have been reported thus far. Wide beta release pending as tweaks to core component functionality continues. Overall, a working, distributable model will be vendored in the near future. [18:09] Aryte Vesperia: Adjudicator release has been completed. If you grabbed the initial version of the new weapon, be sure to go nab an update. There were a couple of errors with the munitions that were corrected about an hour after distribution. The weapon itself is a major upgrade to the archaic, original Adjudicator. Although more compact, the functionality is more combat friendly—the secondary fire, the “heavy” element of it is quickly accessible (and often accidentally, in my case) via the C key. [18:10] Aryte Vesperia: Malice gunship flight testing is going well. The fly style is a bit unique in comparison to typical aircraft—however, it really adds to the feeling of flying a sort of “rotary” craft. Thus far, I am rather impressed. However, armaments, full combat capable versions, and armored versions will be the real demonstration of capability. [18:11] Aryte Vesperia: Our light “frigate” grade vessel has been entirely modeled. The texturing is being handled as we speak. We will pause on creating the “cruiser” and “dreadnaught” grade vessels until full examination of implementation of the “frigate” grade. The vessels will be individually named, sporting unique designations—each will bear a title from current and retired members who have performed honorable feats for the Ordo. Although deployment of these heavy hitters may be limited, it will provide a heavy heel to the arsenal when we run into militaries like the Alliance Navy. [18:12] Aryte Vesperia: > ART [18:12] Aryte Vesperia: Foremost, a big shout out to everyone who has been involved and participating in the ART. Over the last few months, I have seen a huge increase in ART functionality on the battlefield: the use of short hand, battle buddies, and effective team work have become a relative norm. This is deeply impressing to me and really goes to show the capability of the Ordo when we put our mind to something. We have challenged the norms and taken it a step higher. [18:14] Aryte Vesperia: Tomorrow will be the first Tier 2 course. This will be for individuals who have completed Tier 1 with a qualifier only. It will be a bit haphazard—we’ll be working out bugs as we go. Bring your A game and get ready for some carnage. 5:00 PM SLT. [18:14] Arokh Takakura raises his lamp-post. [18:14] Aryte Vesperia: Yes? [18:15] Arokh Takakura: ART that isn't 1am sunday night for us europeans? [18:15] Aryte Vesperia: Probably not for a while. Explanation in later topic. [18:16] Aryte Vesperia: > OIC Commitments [18:16] Aryte Vesperia: As a reminder: it is generally the intent and goal to maintain an officer level command during interactions on base. The officer staff, does, however, have a wide range of responsibilities that often time detracts from their availability to maintain the OIC status. The Tribunus as a whole has made the commitment to hold the position as often as possible. Nevertheless, taking command of the base as an NCO or enlistee is still a valid item. It is a great opportunity for enlisted personnel to really get their feet wet and practice command talents. It is preferable; however, that such experience is done as an “SOG” to an officer OIC. [18:17] Aryte Vesperia: Regardless, if you are enlisted—don’t be shy. Feel free to take command of the base. An officer will relieve you if they feel it necessary. [18:18] Aryte Vesperia: > Time Limitations [18:18] Aryte Vesperia: (@ Arokh) Change of pace here, however for the sake of clarity: my apologies for my general . . . less here-ness over the last couple of weeks. My place of business is rather shorthanded, so I am hitching up my boss pants and pulling a lot of extra hours. This will likely continue for a few more weeks, at least. However, I did say “fuuuuck thiiis” and took time off for next week. 27th to the 31st, if I recall correctly; so, I’ll be catching up with stuff over next week and during that time. [18:19] Aryte Vesperia: > Keynote [18:20] Aryte Vesperia: Forgoing a major keynote this evening to give a little blurb in regards to recruitment. Our numbers on “accepted” apps have been rather low as of late—I’d like to explain why. [18:21] Aryte Vesperia: For the most part, the Ordo’s recruitment is heavily slanted toward vouches and “known” individuals. We rarely find applications so well formed and individuals who, without any integrity vouches, appear up to snuff for our stringent guidelines. As of late, the intake of “friend vouches” has been low . . . so, directly corresponding, our intake has been low. [18:23] Aryte Vesperia: The Ordo puts a lot of investment upon the ability to affirm integrity through existing members. In simple terms: we like to recruit friends of friends. It maintains a strong level of commitment and gives people a “foot in,” rather than throwing them into an alien situation. Retention follows pretty close behind on this—we see a lot of success from vouch-in applicants. [18:24] Aryte Vesperia: That’s not to say those without vouches can’t join. It’s simply; they better have a strong app and a clear background. Curia takes applications pretty seriously. Our recruit pool is very important to us. In short: if you have friends looking to join, be sure they list you as a vouch. It helps, a lot! [18:25] Aryte Vesperia: Additionally, be sure you know the implications of vouching. It’s putting your stamp on someone as “they’re a good fit for this group, they won’t do something silly.” [18:25] Aryte Vesperia: Questions? [18:26] Aryte Vesperia: Beautiful. That's that, then. Quick and easy meeting this week. Promotions will be up tomorrow. I'll be back in a short bit, going to grab some dinner. Dismissed. Go raid. Etc, etc.
