An email I thought worth posting - In addition to communicating with the local Air Traffic Control, all aircraft in the Persian Gulf AOR are required to give the Iranian Air Defense Radar (military) a ten minute 'heads up' if they will be transiting Iranian airspace. This is a common procedure for commercial aircraft and involves giving them your call sign, transponder code, type aircraft, and points of origin and destination. I just flew with a guy who overheard this conversation on the VHF Guard (emergency) frequency 121.5 MHz while flying from Europe to Dubai. It's too good not to pass along. The conversation went something like this... Air Defense Radar: 'Unknown aircraft at (location unknown), you are in Iranian airspace. Identify yourself.' Aircraft: 'This is a United States aircraft. I am in Iraqi airspace.' Air Defense Radar: 'You are in Iranian airspace. If you do not depart our airspace we will launch interceptor aircraft!' Aircraft: 'This is a United States Marine Corps FA-18 fighter. Send 'em up, I'll wait!' Air Defense Radar: (no response .... total silence) i lol'd

We've all been in that situation, someone flaming on a forum, or assuming they know it all in ims. Lets hear your best comeback. Earlier today someone was talking about people needing to get banned in a videogame for mass exploiting a bug that they were fully aware of an impending server roll back as a result, and continued to enjoy it while it lasted. Once i proved him obnoxious I ended with this. Also Your expertise of pve in a game renown for its pvp is a testament to all of us. We should all be so lucky as to find a way to go out of our way to master something so irrelevant as killing computer AI better than everyone around you. Why, i might even go as far as to say you are a legend. Much like a 1000 lb man having a makeshift flatbed truck drive him through a mcdonalds drive through to appease his insatiable mastery of burgers.

What should the ambasadors to friendly sims be -doing- there? Seems like its just hanging out most of the time. Is there something we should be inspiring between the groups, or just making friends so they know who to ask for small favors or little defenses.

Here is your prime example. I can probably build if i put my mind to it, but i don't build, i cant script past changing numbers and seeing what happens untill it does what i want. If it doesn't exist on google i'm usually at a loss. But i'm 2ic. I inspire people to be great. I sit down with people and reassure them they can sucede. I can lead any group to victory based on faith, persistence, and will alone. I think up way to develop skills through combat and repetative or innovative training designs and dish them out the the guard and other participants throughout the group regularly. I devote my time to not only being onsim and defending against baddies I memorized the handbook and help keep order by relaying that to others in an understandable and common sensical way. I have averted disasters by listening, and brought them upon the enemy by commanding. I have written reviews and given examples and ideas to those who were at a loss. Moreover, I just put this thread into perspective.

There was another time, same scenario, back before emma learned how to jesus jump. I dashed out of an untextured building under heavy fire ran up behind emma while aryte messaged him like nooo nooo behind youuu and i stun batonned him to death, was hilarious. Theres screenshots of both somewhere.

This one time back in the day, when the sim was an untextured shipping port covered in crates with a slybucks, we had group combat. I was newly appointed to Praetorian and Tatha was the praefectus. We were to rush at eachother and capture flags while we cleared the sim. At this time I had developed jesus jumping to an art, so the epic fighters rushed across the sim at mach 5 while everyone else ran. In the middle of the sim Tatha and myself on opposing teams had both decided to use only stun batons what were a 50% damage per hit at the time. So we collide midsim and start swinging away at eachother, dashing around super fast and jousting with stun batons. The rest of the group caught up and either side was trying to kill us, so bullets are whizzing by in all directions, were dodging them left and right while trying to stun baton eachother then just as i get the perfect hit on Tatha the sim crashed. It was epic.

D: D: i got to lvl 68 again, died on the same one, did alot better this time, the key is bubble turrets i think, they seemed to hold them back well, and to get rid of old turrets. I think i still had a crappy little turret taking up power usage.

D: i got to lvl 68 on the full version and died omg its so hard. been playing at work all day. i cant believe i came so far and lost! theres a wave of like 50 munsters moving fast with 2200 hp each and the most damage there is is 2000 on a slow reloading missile launcher, using every possible energy point and theres no way to have more than 2 of them, the satelite does 300 at the 5th upgrade and my cannons only do 180 Dx guess you need to use the bubbles freezes and mines else your not gonna win :<
