Why hello there.

As someone who has been following this very closely since the announcement, I am a huge fan of what they're doing with it, especially that they are involving the legendary Mike Pondsmith with the development and that they're releasing a new edition of the original Cyberpunk 2020 game to coincide with the new videogame. Just, phenomenal. Very excited.

The reason we don't outright delete those kinds of topics, is because we wouldn't want to take away someone's right to say they're leaving, and furthermore we wouldn't want to make them feel any sort of validation if they try to claim we're censoring them and their accusations. Optimally, we would like for people to feel like if they're uncomfortable here, they can just say their goodbyes without writing out a entire letter about why they feel valid in trash-talking our group/members. If someone can just be mature enough to accept that they dislike the changes we're making, or that they're willing to put past their differences with individuals, and simply say "It's my time to leave, Goodbye", then we wouldn't see any threads like these. The problem comes in, when they try to argue and throw out accusations or trash talk on individuals, while trying to leave. It's cowardly, for starters that someone would basically take their time to talk up a bunch of shit, and then leave and cower away from any retort. There have been many members of our group who have left that have been more than welcome to participate with us (Ethan, Karlhockey, Aelus, and many more I could list from the Aeternus group), even if they're just visiting or still participating with us unofficially, because none of these members saw fit to throw out accusations at Aryte or others on their way out. None of us in this group have ever enjoyed seeing our members leave, we don't want them to leave, nor do we want to fight with them on their way out, but when they go out of their way to talk down on us as individuals or as a group, we as a community are going to defend ourselves and our members. That's just how it is.

On MOHW you can only be in one Platoon at a time, but if you click 'Platoons' at the top, you should be able to see your current one. On BF3 if you just click Platoons, it gives you a menu to pick from whichever you want.

I'd like to. I'm mostly just looking to figure out how I'll be able to fund a server. :V We already have one. For reference, here's our Platoon for Battlefield 3 and Medal of Honor: Warfighter

As of current, it is still listed on Steam, however it is unavailable for purchase. http://store.steampo...com/app/226700/ Because they lost their trademark on their game title "WarZ" (see my post above), they will now have to change the title entirely, which means eventually either steam will remove it, or rename it. Either way, it's gotten so bad that they're already being hit with lawsuits from people over the refund thing, which is illegal. In all likelihood the developer/publisher are going to have to pay out to their customers that they screwed over, and chances are they aren't going to without kicking and screaming and making themselves look worse, since they are clearly incapable of even the most insignificant of apologies. Kinda sad really, they set out to make a shitty pandered knockoff cash-grab of a successful mod of ARMA2, and they end up ruining their careers in the entire industry.

Yep. Steam has been handing out refunds left and right. Also apparently their official game art uses stolen photos from the internet that they didn't pay for, including some taken from AMC's The Walking Dead.

Also, for anyone who might look for a refund if you bought it through steam; If you want a refund, file a ticket directly through Steam, nowhere else. Do not request a refund on their forum on their page/forum on Steam, you will be banned. Do not send a email or support ticket through thewarz.com or their private forums, you will be banned. If you bought it elsewhere, you're Ffffed.

Well, I never bought it. So I personally can't. But many people already are, and are filing tons of tickets to Steam to demand refunds.

"Hammerpoint Interactive", which is a fake company created by "Arktos Entertainment", who created a game called "War Inc." which "WarZ" is a direct port of, all of which are published by a literally nonexistant publisher (seriously I dare you to google any of these companys) called "OP Productions". Also, they updated their TOS for their game so that it now states that you are no longer allowed to request nor recieve a refund ONCE YOU AGREE TO THIS TERMS OF SERVICE AND THE END USER LICENSE AGREEMENT FOR THE GAME (THE “EULA”) AND SERVICE FOR THE GAME COMMENCES, YOU WILL NO LONGER BE ELIGIBLE FOR A REFUND FOR ANY AMOUNTS OR OTHER CONSIDERATION PAID BY YOU FOR THE USE (OR FUTURE USE) OF THE GAME CLIENT OR THE SERVICE.
