[18:03:39] Aryte Vesperia: Diplomatic notes for this week: combat remains diversified. Opportunity has popped up among our larger foes—what we have lacked in overall deployment figures, we have made up with strong presentations against the “big names” on our list. General stagnation has continued with the onset of the school semester, however there has been a notable uptrend in activity among the Ordo personnel figures on the prime time (weekends). Continue to push for success and use our personnel when available: activity will level out as time goes on.

[18:04:11] Aryte Vesperia: Unit reports this evening?

[18:04:18] Xoza Tyron raises his hand for Astra.

[18:04:22] Aryte Vesperia: Mr. Tyron.

[18:04:30] Xoza Tyron: Due to the small size of our personnel we've connected and dominated the skies together and are all proud to serve with each other. It goes without saying the recently projected changes have caused a stir in Astra just as it has in the Ordo. Though our command levels may change and we find ourselves in a slightly unfamiliar territory we know our duty to the Ordo Imperialis and many of us are looking forward to what the wind will bring us. We will serve our Legions with pride just as we've served Astra and our bonds to each other will remain unbroken. We will continue to regularly hold events and trainings for all pilots or willing participants as we have done. We will share our war stories and tactics around the campfire on the beach and we will pass our knowledge to those within our legion who seek it and continue to train those who I may call my wingman.

[18:04:50] Xoza Tyron: On another note, Astra has had a few but pretty epic air battles this week and taken a few new members. The Phantom is in it's final stages and even the beta tears up enemy aircraft. The the new bomber systems are already in development and proceeding nicely. As some of you may have noticed, we now have an aircraft rezzer beta project sitting right outside our HUB. This is available for hostile use, so if you see one in the air, deploy those pilots or get some anti-air up. It is only armed with cannons, so it shouldn't be firing on ground targets, these rules are quoted to the pilot when it's rezzed.

[18:05:04] Xoza Tyron: That's all from Astra.

[18:05:34] Aryte Vesperia: Thank you. Next?

[18:06:22] Aryte Vesperia: Mr. Reisman has crashed twice now while attempting to write the Terra report. I'll uh.

[18:06:25] Aryte Vesperia: Let that one pass.

[18:06:26] Aryte Vesperia: Rofl.

[18:07:05] Aryte Vesperia: Any additional reports this evening?

[18:07:55] Aryte Vesperia: Excellent.

[18:08:03] Aryte Vesperia: Well, this evening I have several significant topics to touch upon. We will be revisiting elements of last week’s meeting and expanding into new mentions.

[18:08:40] Aryte Vesperia: ✠ Main Battle Rifle

[18:09:13] Aryte Vesperia: Ladies and gentlemen: as announced via notice, the SCAR-L has officially taken the dusty trail toward retirement. We have officially released our new main battle rifle, the AK-12. As we have covered, this weapon will be our primary arm for all units—the Covalent SMG is now in the unlock pool, even if you formerly had the access via group authentication as an Astra member.

[18:09:54] Aryte Vesperia: There are a couple of additions to note that are unique with the AK-12. First off, the AK-12 is the first weapon to follow our new ammunition conventions. Standard damage rounds shall be white, training brown, and tracers (for FTLs) will be Warsaw standard green. Over time, this will be implemented in all weaponry (with a “modern” touch) to ensure consistency in combat and add a bit more clarity to where rounds are coming from.

[18:10:45] Aryte Vesperia: Further, we have increased combat options with the new MBR: rather than force feeding you a specific spread choice, you are able to make that decision for your own means. So, for those of us who enjoyed the laser accuracy of the SCAR: done. On the flip side, those who enjoy spread on their rounds: also done.

[18:11:51] Aryte Vesperia: All in all, I am incredibly excited to be fielding the new rifle. To date, it has already served us well against 2142 and the Mercz.

[18:12:36] Aryte Vesperia: ✠ Weaponry Upgrades

[18:12:53] Aryte Vesperia: After careful assessment of the growing paradigms amount combat forces, the executive decision has been made to revisit several of our primary vehicles for critical revisions. What you can expect: more teeth and more staying power.

[18:13:44] Aryte Vesperia: First off, we will be re-releasing all of the current tank models with an up-armored option, providing Ordo tankers the ability to field modified variants of our armor in situations that warrant heavier resistance against enemy AT (ex: the Combat Continent).

[18:14:46] Aryte Vesperia: Secondly, we have actively engaged in development of our anti-air platforms. I am incredibly pleased with what I have seen thus far for inclusion into our Autocrat SPAAG—it is a unique, albeit powerful approach to air defense weaponry. We have spent a great deal of time attempting to find a way to deploy fire-and-forget missiles in a manner that we find reasonable. With compliment to Mr. Xiao, that manner has come to be.

[18:15:49] Aryte Vesperia: Essentially, the Autocrat will be receiving a radar envelope: aircraft within the proximity will be displayed and targetable if within a certain distance. The vehicle’s pilot will then be able to select and dispense a missile on said target. Unlike other groups, it will be possible to actually maneuver away from our missiles—granting a sense of fairness. On the flip side, our missiles will not simply be fired and grab a target in mid air. The target will be fed to the missile before launch. This will greatly increase its lethality and limit the potential of destroying friendly targets.

[18:17:11] Aryte Vesperia: ✠ Legion Revision

[18:17:48] Aryte Vesperia: There are a few mentions I would like to share with you all regarding the revisions on our unit structure. First off, I am looking to complete a few core tasks this weekend between my daily duties: develop the foundation codex for each legion, initial appointments of legion command, determine where the remaining officers will fit in, and prepare an inactive purge list.

[18:19:03] Aryte Vesperia: Beyond that, I do want to go ahead and throw some notes your way—this is largely free form thoughts from my scribbles as I plan.

[18:19:55] Aryte Vesperia: Legion naming conventions have largely been decided: name centric, rather than numeric. So instead of seeing “The Ordo Imperialis – Legion #,” you will be seeing “The Ordo Imperialis – Legion Name.” Names, however, are still up in the air. There will be a theme invested, but it is still undetermined. Currently Roman Gods, Roman generals, and . . . well, my typical naming scheme (Wrath, etc) are being looked at.

[18:20:49] Aryte Vesperia: That said, here are some blurbs to gander at. Please keep in mind they are not in stone:

[18:27:15] Aryte Vesperia: ✠ Rank and Authority

[18:27:39] Aryte Vesperia: I apparently neglected to craft the notes for this, on account of dozing off. So I am winging this section ol' school style.

[18:29:31] Aryte Vesperia: I want to talk briefly on the value of rank and how it applies to authority. For the most part, I want to reinforce the concept that rank corresponds to the level of responsibility an individual is expected to invest in the group.

[18:30:52] Aryte Vesperia: Rank is not something to hang on your shoulder and tout. If you seek rank for the sake of obtaining a sense of importance, you will find extreme difficulty in obtaining it. Typically, I look to and aim to promote individuals who are doing the job and not looking for an elevation-- folks who are interested in proactive development for the sake of benefiting the group are the folks who deserve the rank.

[18:31:12] Aryte Vesperia: More often than not, I think people look at it from the perspective of "if I only had X rank, I could do this for the group."

[18:31:44] Aryte Vesperia: I'd suggest it's quite the opposite. If you are acting with the interest of the organization in mind, rank will follow.

[18:32:31] Aryte Vesperia: But, with rank, comes an expected return. Do not wish to be a senior NCO or an officer if your aim is leisure only. There's real work involved in upper stations.

[18:33:04] Aryte Vesperia: There's real stress, real time commitments, and a necessity to be able to handle situations outside the norm for the average member.

[18:35:26] Aryte Vesperia: In short: there's nothing wrong with being interested in how to improve one's self to obtain higher stations, but there are some major negative elements when someone is essentially undercutting someone else's promotion because they didn't receive one their self.

[18:36:15] Aryte Vesperia: You need only ever concern yourself with . . you. If someone is promoted and you were lookin' for the same station, congratulate them and keep trucking.

[18:38:06] Aryte Vesperia: That said. Thank you all for coming this evening. Since we didn't have any designated gaming time last night, I'll be happy to accommodate a couple of protected hours this evening (starting now). Unless there's a major outcry to go raid right at the moment and there is a team leader lookin' to make it happen. I'll watch the fray for a minute before making the decision. :}

[18:38:12] Aryte Vesperia: Dismissed.

[18:38:14] Aryte Vesperia snaps his fist to his chest, presenting a brief salute.

[18:38:15] Mikeo Amiot salutes.

[18:38:16] Markius Faulkner salutes "Pro Imperatore ac Imperio!"

[18:38:17] Radryl Allen salutes.

[18:38:20] Dantes Koronikov: /asalutes
