Star Wars: Battlefront

Well for Watch Dogs looking bad it was Ubisoft fault for not 'optimizing' the game and focusing on Consoles. Or rushing things out.

Cause the E3 effects are INSIDE the game, some modders already figured how to make them work. While they don't work perfectly for some people, others say that the game runs better.

But here's hoping Battlefront doesn't suffer the same fate. Aside from all Battlefield bugs or issues, the games do look good. So battlefront should be no different at that point at least.

They removed it because A) It was buggy between different hardware and they didn't want to troubleshoot everything, and B) They didn't want a major graphical gap between console & PC. It's really shitty though because we'll never have better with marketing decisions like that.

Pretty much yeah. It's a real shame indeed.

From S.W underground:

"Gaming developer Karl Magnus Troedsson has affirmed that production of Star Wars: Battlefront 3 is progressing and advancing well. He has maintained an optimistic attitude concerning the creation and development of the game and considers that gaming developers DICE have facilitated this feat.

Furthermore, Mr. Troedsson has estimated that the game will emerge a greater success than the two antecedent and popular Battlefront games. He has also elucidated that the production of Battlefront 3 has been very distinct to the prior two Battlefront games (the animation and content of the two former Battlefront games had principally emulated and mirrored the Battlefield franchise).

Finally, our friends over at Gameranx have speculated that DICE may have some inside knowledge on the forthcoming Star Wars Episode VII which would help facilitate the development of an authentic, canonized and popular Star Wars game. Of course this latter statement should be taken as rumour until Disney or Lucasfilm have confirmed otherwise. Notwithstanding, Star Wars fans should certainly have a good feeling about Battlefront 3; set to be released in 2015."

I figured they'd release it alongside or close to the movie release. Or at least have DLC for it.

Might be they release just before the new movie with a level map taken from it as a teaser or an incentive to go see the new movie ? *shrugs*

Well I guess I called it.

Also Jakku isn't a DLC it's just early access and will unlock a week later, 40 people ins't the pop cap as the pop cap changes dependant on game mode (already confirmed by eurogamer) and further DLC's will be released with new planets. There is aerial combat in the game right now with space combat planneed for a future DLC

??????

By "changes dependent on game mode", they meant that they player count can go down with the other modes. The smallest game mode goes down to 8 players, with the largest being 40.

further DLC's will be released with new planets. There is aerial combat in the game right now with space combat planneed for a future DLC

that's not even helping the case. lol

Can you site your source on where they are planning a space combat DLC? Because everyone everywhere have said that they're focusing on planetary instead of space.
