Pseudo-Achievement Thread

Recommended Posts

I am bored, and figured for the hell of it lets do something creative and witty and make a thread for Second Life Combat based around achievements.

The rules are simple:

Be respectful, Creative, and Funny.

First off, come up with a name for the achievement, something that corresponds to the achievement indirectly or directly is fine. Then write the achievement itself, be tactful and lets not get carried away with ourselves.

Here is my achievement to start things off:

FOR TONIGHT WE DINE IN... - Survived the reign of Spartan King, Bruno Ziskey.

"Beginner's Luck..." - Win one of your first ten raids without getting killed with killing at least a minimum of five hostiles. (Could be obtained after the post date of this.)

"Kamikaze" - Self-explanatory.

"Two for One deal" - Two kills w/ one shot.

"M.V.P" - Most valuable combatant to their raid party.

"Too late." - Cook a grenade too long.

"Habs Fan" - Cheer for the Montréal Canadiens in SL.

"Two for One deal" - Two kills w/ one shot.

Is that even possible? I thought once the prim hit someone it disappeared, unless your gun is scripted to not do it, which is sort of bad. Even if you managed to do the Wanted thing and turn it sideways I'm pretty sure you can only kill one person at a time ;o

It could be very possible, there is a certain amount of time of which the bullet is scripted to die at, probably in milliseconds after hitting, or on the rare occasion, seconds.

I look at it as this: Each Avatar is equal to one prim. When spraying bullets at a prim wall, you get rebounds which in my perspective could kill one avatar, bounce of him then hit and kill another avatar.

Thus if this would be an Xbox related achievement, it'd have to earn a good 150 GP.

Impossible. Bullets even set to llDamage(1); which would do 1 damage to you, instantly die on contact with an avatar. They do not with prims, which is why

collision_start(integer lolololol_lol)

{

llDie();

}

is used to kill the prim on collision with an object (not with land though, land_collision or something is used for that). Even as fast as that seems, scripts have a hard time in lag telling when it hits something, which is why they bounce of prims before dying.

The more you know :rolleyes:
