  1. Off to work, Have a good meeting tonight :D

  2. Humm im in the shitty Desert part of SoCal that everyone drives through and dumps their trash in on the way to Vegas, so Yay! Pretty much no one knows where I am, even if they have driven though since its that boring, but im in the Victorville/Apple Valley area of SoCal... Like 2 hour drive from the beach and 2.5-3.5 hours from Vegas (Depending on whos Driving ;p)...
  3. Humm... My job is pretty boring, I get to work Sales Floor at Target... >_<
  4. Hum To be honest I am fairly surprised your having compatability issues with Steam and SL, since under it all its basically Vista with all the fat cut out... But here's my question, have you attempted to run them in Compatability mode, sometimes that is all you need to push it over the edge, also, are all your drivers up to date, Even in its RC state a lot of big name companies are putting out the drivers for it. If neither of those work then its hard to say what the problem can be traced down to, Do they crash, or just simply refuse to open at all?
  5. I like, and totally agree with what Gulliver just said. I have been, and since the Sim opened, been RP'ing here. Ordo to be thrown into the mix, in general was something I always tried to avoid having to deal with (Just like to keep Ordo and my Other activities separate.) Now here is the issue: Given that ordo is now in the sim (and from the sounds of it, here to stay)... Suppose at one point I become pissed off and things happen to go south. Now given that I am part of ordo OOC, the whole situation feels awkward, as everyone knows that an IC bout hardly ever ends with both sides leaving happy. Every time, at least one person feels like their wiener was just run through a meat grinder, and they aren't happy about it. That being said, How can it be known that if such things were to happen it wouldn't later effect you elsewhere, when you consider how easy it is for one thing to be taken into the wrong context and the other party gets butt hurt over it. I know its always said that you are never technically off-duty in ordo, but to ask if thats true during RP would basically be saying that I had wanted such things... In reality, I joined Ordo for a military group, I understand that there are RP elements to it, but this is crossing the line to Full blown RP and it rarely ever translates well. As most know, I generally keep quiet, but I felt that I should state my thoughts in this given case.
  6. Take Care Xang, I doubt you will have escaped me for good since We have crossed paths a few times over a span of many years. Enjoy the free time you have! :shades:
  7. Very good point, and as it's too late to take back my ignorance I must say Very true. I do realize that he may make Hats that are used in movies, and for that I can't fault him for the High prices, Though like the point you made of the gray shirt with the nike logo, The name more or less brings them into a sense of feeling self important. When I said that he couldn't make it, I think it was just an idiot move on my part, as I really didn't elaborate, I let my ignorance shine through, What I was really meaning to say, and probably should have let my brain do the talking instead of my lazy hands, is that he most likely didn't want to put the time into it, Not that he couldn't make it as anything is possible with time, so he figured that the guy looking for the custom hat may be scared off by a price tag that large. You were very right, its much like a commission Full perm job in SL, its going to cost you Far more than it would if you were to buy a mass produced product (not sure what nike and other big name companies excuse is since they generally take a 5 dollar shirt and make 74 dollars off of it).
  8. Heh, So basically he shat a number. He looked at what you wanted and was like, here I am going to staple an outrageous number to it in hopes he cant pay for it, so I don't have to tell him the reality that I just can't do it. Phail, thats all I gotta say about Sr. Hatman.
  9. Glad to hear it, Not entirely sure how a hat man can make themselves that self important, but just my opinion, I suppose it goes with the area he is in. We desert people avoid becoming self important tools. >_> maybe thats because we desert people lack talent :O. Anyway, stick it to the hat man!
  10. That is pretty intense... Damn Californians with their inflated hat making prices! >:(. Makes all of us Californians look all greedy and whatnot. Jerks. That plug to cheap Chinese knock off's and the whole May be outside of your budget thing was a bit sad as well, Damn Californians and assumptions on budgets.
  11. Sad to see you go, I know we really never talked, but I wish you happiness in your endeavors through the huge world of Second Life.
  12. Very Nice Emma, It looks great. (Didn't do any grammatical checks since that would be a bad Idea for all of us, However the quick look made my eyes pretty happy, it really does look very nice.)
  13. Welcome back Jayce! Glad to see you back :D
  14. Good to have you! Welcome :D
  15. Sounds fun in My opinion, always nice to have friendly matches. Melee would definitely make it an interesting skirmish. just thought I would put my thoughts out there.
