Why not both? Can't we just have an extra phase? When in Schola it was only my pestering certain friends in Ordo at the time that led me to Navis. I'm happy, but I wonder what I might have chosen had all three branches been present to make their 'sales pitch.' I've stated somewhere on these boards that we should do that very thing. Actually taking them out in a trainer and showing them what's what is the logical extension. Maybe letting them fly it is a bit much, but taking them to Chronus and showing them some bling and joint operations, wouldn't be hard, would be good for existening member's training purposes, and probably help educate cadets. As far as the basic infantry traing, again, why isn't this done? I've been in how many months, and I still don't know how to use the breach function properly. I learned other operations of the HUD by typing what other people typed in open chat and found out on my own. That wasn't training, per se. Even Navis and Astra would benefit from this. Though recently fleet ops have increased dramatically, most my time has been functioning as a grunt, and I'm happy to do that. I'd like to be better educated about how these things work. (Again, I'm old and I could school you little whippersnappers on some Atari 2600 or Intellivision games.) I'd be happy to be the Navis rep for schola purposes.

I was in the middle of a fight over some meaningless shit with my then fiancee. We went at it all morning. Probably from 0 hour until about 1pm EST. She slammed the door and got in her car to drive off in a tizzy, and I turned on the TV which was permanently dialed on ESPN to check the pennant races. I did a double take when I realized I was watching ABC news. I turned the channel, more of the same. I sprinted out to her car and brought her in. We soon made provisions: Got cash, carton of smokes, and lots of gas and water. Then we watched and called family in NYC. I don't think she and I ever even thought of whatever piddly shit I did to set her off that time again. She wound up nailing both my best friend and thesis advisor. I'm no longer with her.

When will the Benelli M-4 be done? Approximate? I gotta unlock point and I want that thing. But I'm impatient. Also, I still, for whatever reason can't talk on Vent. My Vent works fine when I'm in the SWRP one. Just not Ordo. I worry that not being able to participate on Vent may eventually hold me back promotion-wise. I know it holds me back in combat.

I like the idea of a sim rebuild. Making it so that the enemy has a better shot at lasting might encourage more actions. As it is, in my (relatively short) time in Ordo, I've only seen one organized attack. That was on my first day in Schola. I wouldn't be opposed to giving them their own trenches and bunkers from which to fire on us. Something to get the yellow bastards active. It's not like we're gonna lose, anyway. Might as well encourage them to come get an ass whoopin'. I'd like to see more gear two. But since I can't make a damned thing, I feel bad making so many requests. (That said, if anyone needs to farm out texturing duties, I'd be happy to help out.) I'd like to see some more RL stuff. That doesn't mean we can't have both. But let's have some options. Getting Navis ironed out would be cool.

As I recall, we were accused of lagging the sim. Would smoke not add fuel to this accusation? It *is* a fine idea however.
