All my goals this year are art based. Off the top of my head~

 

Actually draw a damn female like, once a month, at least
Learn to draw alot of things I currently am limited by
STOP LETTING MY LIMITS DEFINE WHAT I DRAW
Stop with the same  3/4th quarter, facing down head view
Learn to actually sit down and sketch
Work more on paper than my tablet
2013 was an okay year for me, but I did NOT leave my comfort zone, which hurt me.

As far as real life goals? Lol, don't die.

Info:

Blade Symphony is a sword fighting game revolving around skillful dueling and team battles. In  this game, there are no unlockable abilities beyond what you begin with; all upgrades are for looks only.That said, there are many different styles of fighting available to you. There are 4 different characters differing in fighting style (aggressive, air combat, heavy defense, lunges) which you can choose. On top of this, there are 5 sword styles you may select: long sword, fencing, kenjutsu, ninjutsu, and wushu. Each selection has strengths and weaknesses so no one is invincible. Each attack has an opening, and can be exploited if you aren't careful. This game still is a beta if I am correct, so balancing may be/is occurring.

 

My experience so far:

So far this game has challenged me to think critically before making any attacks or selecting a stance. Every action I make leaves me vulnerable to something else, so I must constantly change tactics to string together successful combinations. I have yet to win any duels against the fierce competition, but watching people fight helps a lot. Everything is in real time, and you must anticipate actions. I am going to continue the tutorial until I better understand this game's mechanics.

 

So overall, I think this game has some potential, and if there's enough interest, maybe a chapter could be made. I recommend any WOTR chapter members or medieval game enthusiasts pick this up on steam for $7.49

 

 

 

Well, my name is Greg, but I tend to go by Enialis, Enialis_Nailo, Balariel, or the names of angels. If you see an Enialis in a game, there a good chance its me since I've been reserving it on games I'm not even playing.

 

I'm down just to play some games with an intelligent, respectful community. Currently playing War of the Roses and Hearthstone, but am desperatly wanting to get back into MMOs. Too burnt out on WoW, been playing since Beta O.O. and imo GW2 failed me, but I would be willing to play again with the right group, I think I just had different expectations for the game.

 

About me, inteligent, dioplomatic, but with a silver tongue that will cut the ignorant to shreds. Flaw, strength? Haven't decided yet. Literary buff, Frank Herbert, Asimov, Heinlein, Orson Wells. If its sci-fi, there a good chance I've read it, or own it. Dune and Stranger in a Strange Land are the two greatest books ever written and I will debat you to the end of the universe if you disagree. Also, R.A. Salvatore is amazing, and Twillight killed vampires forever. Please, ask me about books, I'll talk your ear off about whatever you've been reading, and if you haven't, I'll kindly explain how Brave New World is scarier than 1984.

 

I am Anime/Manga obessesive. Evangelion is likely the greatest thing every conceived, and I will go on for days about it to anyone with even the mildest understanding. Also Psycho-pass, steins;gate are the most recent jaw-dropping things I've seen, still trying to put the pieces of texhnolyze together, what a trip that was. If you read my literarry interests, post-apocalyptic, dystopian, cyberpunk is sorta my thing, and I'm running out of things to read/watch so by all means suggest me some.

 

Music, ah, Music is my life. I am a music student by trade. E. Guitar, Acoustic, Classical Guitar, Piano and Sax are my main hobbies, but give me an instrument and some sheet music and I'll be playing it by the morrow. Classical, Jazz, Metal and all of the needless sub-generes we've decided we need to make it even MORE confusing and divided are my interests. From Tortega to Sinatra, Queen to Bring Me the Horizon, Andy Mckee to the Cure,  I've got my bases covered. Please talk to me about music if you want, or more specifically, if you have ANY guitar questions, be it practice, playing tips, or maintenence/repairs, I can help, I am classically trained, have been playing for 10+ years, and major in guitar performance. I first wanted to say that this is going to be me rambling about some might consider nothing important but I just thought I would share. I have not slept yet tonight and while awake I thought of the most important thing I could pass on. For those that do not know I am the mother of a now 11 year old. When I first joined Ordo I just thought it was a guild on a game. I have since found a gaming community followed by a family. I didn't know that people could actually care as much as I do about others online.
 
I was sitting in the TOR channel one day and Xoza mentioned the codex and I had never bothered to read it before and I'm honestly glad he did. When I read it at first I skimmed it and then something caught my eye.

These three things caused me to stop and head right back to the beginning and read it from start to finish. When I was done with it I had decided to start applying it not only in the games I was playing but outside of it as well. I applied it to my life outside of the internet. Everywhere I go I apply the 9 Titles that have been laid out before us to the best of my abilities ( within reason that can be applied outside of the internet ). I have even go so far as to start instilling them into my daughters life. I never thought that when Jundani recruited me that I would be doing this almost 9 months later.
 
I guess in all my ramblings in this post is a big thank you to all of you here at Ordo for not only helping me improve my life, my daughter's life, but also helping me improve the lives of those around me by leading as an example of what a honorable and devoted person should be.

Its that time of year again... Christmas for us gamers always brings  in new deals with steam and other fancy things. But, it also brings in the trolls and new hidden agendas to spam and create non legit sites.
 
The link of the day is one that brings you to a fake steam page that offers a reward for getting 15 friends to click on a link and view the same page. I urge you to ignore all links from "Steamgifts.org" as it is a fake and could potentially cost you security.

i was sitting on my couch and suddenly my door opened and two little monsters all of about 10 years of age ran into my house. Before i could get up and head over to where the candy was they had already grabbed hand fulls of candy and were running for the door. I did catch them on my front step and took their entire bags of candy and went back inside.... of course their parents started banging on my door and saying WTF! When i told them what the little monsters did they not only let me keep the candy but beat their ass in my front yard... needless to say the next well behaved children that came to my door got a pillow case full of candy.
