I leave for Oklahoma tomorrow, for a month long basic training refresher course, then on to Fort Sill for seven weeks of Combat Engineer school.
For everyone that helped out with references, thank you, and I apologise for the FBI types following you around for a week.

well, lesse....a few years ago, me and a couple buddies went to a party as an IRS team...I had a suit and briefcase, and they wore body armor and airsoft guns.

a few of you know I was gone for a week, at my sisters wedding, but I took a bus up to michigan, because I am broke.
Then I find out it was the other bus that got the complimentary stab-and-beheading. I felt robbed.

I know there are a bunch, but some of these seem a bit strange. I mean, how can I have Black November AND basic training? I dunno about you, but I skipped that. I am also a touch confuzzled about my comrade support. I gear up for combat as fast as anyone else, but I don't recall any time I "Supported my comrades" any further than showing up and shooting in the same direction.

well, ain't that shocking. Army vet, 63 Juliet. same AIT, same basic training. Always Forward! Hehe...I got stuck at Fort hood, myself.
