I created the Apostles based upon the need to have an elite fighting air unit (early 2008, late 2007-- pre forums). Sukasa Rydell was one of the originals; ask 'em! So yes, the Apostles were intended to be an elite air unit. An alpha unit. It only made sense to have the best pilots teaching the other pilots, y'know? Part instructor, part fighter ace. It became more instructor based for a while, but the 50/50 shift is here. Long ago you had to have an Ace Pin to be an Apostle. Or hell, it may have been you received the Ace Pin upon joining the Apostles.

Over the next couple of weeks I will be conducting anonymous surveys, detailing effectiveness and weaknesses in all of the administrative departments with the interest of enacting revisions to enhance their ability to serve the Ordo Imperialis. The surveys will be provided over the group notices to all members, with detailed instruction as to how to submit the surveys. I will be collecting them in note format on a random alternate-- that way I have no idea who sends me what: only that you participated. It'll allow me to review opinion and build a case on how to solve or even commend my administrative departments. The first survey will be held in the next couple of days, with focus on Curia.
