Sera Otoro
Right... This is mainly for those who aspire to get raid approvals from Aryte, if you do, theres some very important things that need to be done... who you are going to fight? do you have any recon work done? do you have enough people so the enemy defense does not overpower you? do you have plan set out for your assault? do you have an objective? are there specific roles for your raid troopies? do you have squads with different roles set? as you can see, there is a lot to think about...I am writing this to help those who do wish to set up raids of an opposing force... Ill take it step by step on how I do mine, and hopefully teach a few things...First off on my list...1... Target : That is the first thing i do, who i am going to raid, from there on comes more things that need to be done...2... Permission : This of course is essential, one you have decidedwhom you are going to attack, make sure you get approval from Aryte before doing anything else, otherwise you will have wasted your time...3... Recon : You will of course need to know the layout of the enemy base, if you have an alt that no one knows you on, use that, or get someone who does to do it for you, take multiple, it helps with planning...4... Objective : its every part of a raid to include an objective, whether it be securing a spot to pushing the enemy force back to their spawn, you may also have a few small objectives to reach your big one...5... Roles : everyone has a role in the battlefield, divisions each have their own uses, for example, you may wish to use astra to strafe an enemy defense line or navis to bomb a defense line so that terra can push in by ground... or if you are raiding an enemy that prohibits air/fleet assets, then make a squad with the people you have and give them a role... like long range support or to keep an area under control...6... Planning : It is important you have planned your assault, effectively using the layout of the enemy base and equipment to ensure you achieve victory and suffer minimal casualties, however if you do not feel confident with your strategies, do not be afraid to ask for help, it will make a lot of difference to have a well planned strategy for the assault...7... Numbers : Another important part is that you have the manpower to make this raid a success, now just because we are ordo, does not mean we can say "yeah, we only need this many because we are the best military out there" and run the risk of screwing up... its clearly not an option, i myself want to try and be at least one man stronger than the opposing force... though take note you must make sure there are at least 5 others defending the sim before going out on the raid, chances are the enemy will counter-attack... if there is insufficient numbers for the raid, then wait until you have enough, as we all know, defeat is not an option in the ordo...8... Breifing : This is the moment to make sure everyone is clear on everything you have planned, run it through with your raid team, make sure everyone understands what they need to do, once you deploy, there is no going back, success must be achieved for the Ordo, to lose is but to bring nothing but disgrace to yourself, the Imperator, and the whole of the Ordo... not meaning to scare anyone, but its something that needs to be put through so that everyone understands that we are not a group who will ever accept defeat...... That is pretty much it from me... hope this helps those who wish to lead a raid in the future...

Rei Kuhr
Something important left out. Make SURE to send enough to have a fighting chance AND keep enough back at Titan to keep it defended. This means at least 5 people. If you want to start a raid and you have only 8 people in total who are online and on Titan, then you realistically have only 3 people to send on the raid. Dont overestimate the enemy by thinking they'll never counterattack. Even if you're right, you're leaving Titan open to other enemies who may use the opportunity to attack us while we're busy elsewhere. So if you want to start an assault, do the numbers first before anything else. If you dont have enough, either get them, or be smart and wait until you have enough people.
