[00:13] Steeltael Lykin (steeltael.lykin): Welcome Everyone to another B-2 meeting!. As always please hold questions until a opportunity has been granted to ask them. If you have a question a show of hands,paws, flippers or wings is all you need to do to be recognized.

[00:14] Steeltael Lykin (steeltael.lykin): First, Thank you for coming. I know our meetings are currently not on a applicable schedule for the majority anymore.

[00:15] Steeltael Lykin (steeltael.lykin): A status update on B-2 is first. This week has brought with it substantial change for our squad. Fox Cheri has moved onto Astra, Bradley Petrov has joined Invictus, And Afevis Sodertelge has joined Insidiae.

[00:16] Steeltael Lykin (steeltael.lykin): We should all wish them well on their continued growth in the group. And to keep in mind that they were all once your squad-mates. Keep in touch with your friends even fi they don't have the same CO or the same squad.

[00:17] Steeltael Lykin (steeltael.lykin): We have also gained two new members. Darson Messmer has joined us from Zegan & BWolf Murakami has also joined B-2. Remember to make our new members feel welcome. Please be sure to add them to your friends list. And send them a IM to say hello from the squad.

[00:20] Steeltael Lykin (steeltael.lykin): Also. For t hose of you here who did not yet complete a new Mandatory availability form. Please fill it out and pass it to me during this meeting.

[00:24] Steeltael Lykin (steeltael.lykin): Schedule changes will be taking effect starting Sunday. As I will be compiling a brand new unit schedule based entirely on the availability forms I recently sent out marked "Mandatory"

[00:27] Steeltael Lykin (steeltael.lykin): Now. Here in Rapax we like to do things differently. We do lots of combat training in general. My opinion is that you learn best by doing. We will be continuing a schedule of training with varied elements however. With the addition of some members new to the combat community. We will be going over a stage of basics again. practicing medic Teleports for example. Among other basic methods of combat and tactic's.

[00:28] Steeltael Lykin (steeltael.lykin): Now, We don't all have to be specialists in combat. So to that end I am announcing another Administrative practice activity. This is on a voluntary basis. However I encourage everyone to participate.

[00:29] Steeltael Lykin (steeltael.lykin): I would like everyone in the squad. To think of a position within the squad. that would be beneficial in their opinion. Something new. And then outline that positions duties, responsabilities. & requirements for eligability.

[00:31] Steeltael Lykin (steeltael.lykin): Consider this a formal document. It's name should be in the following format. "[Ordo] B-2 Position FIRSTINITIAL.LASTNAME DDMMMYY"

[00:32] Steeltael Lykin (steeltael.lykin): Return this document to me. And I will give you feedback on its format and design. We may even use it!

[00:35] Steeltael Lykin (steeltael.lykin): Furthermore, To determine the skills and abilities outside of combat for each member of B-2. I will be sending a optional survey out to all members regarding your skillsets. be they in writing,scripting, building or otherwise.

[00:35] Steeltael Lykin (steeltael.lykin): This is where you share your idea's for improving the squad.

[00:37] Vash Ghostaltar (vash.ghostaltar): Well i find the rezzer course to be rather useful, wouldnt mind doing more of that when i am here, with the squad

[00:38] Steeltael Lykin (steeltael.lykin): It certainly is useful. It teaches the skills you need to navigate tricky area's of various sims.

[00:38] Steeltael Lykin (steeltael.lykin): And we will include more time ther ein official training. However you can go there anytime you want to enjoy the courses.

[00:40] Marc Gravois (marc.gravois): Kith and Vincent (at least since a few days ago) tend to train alot up in the kill house, I often like to join them and if you see them on base they quite possibly could be up there training, I think if you guys are intrested just go ahead and join up =)

[00:41] Steeltael Lykin (steeltael.lykin): Kith and Vincent are both previous members of B-2. And have always been very active in practice and training. I always reccomend training outside of official sessions. The official sessiosn are only supplements and guides to training on your own.

[00:42] Steeltael Lykin (steeltael.lykin): It's like a martial artist. Or a marksman. A Martial Art's student goes to class a couple times of week. But never practices at home. He or she is obviously not going to be as good at it as someone who practices everyday

[00:42] Steeltael Lykin (steeltael.lykin): The greatest sniper on history responded when asked, "How did you become such a good shot?" with a single word.

[00:43] Steeltael Lykin (steeltael.lykin): "Practice"

[00:44] Zack Teichmann (zack.teichmann): Other than being a good shot.

[00:44] Steeltael Lykin (steeltael.lykin): So. whats the morale of this story? Practice if you want to be better.

[00:44] Steeltael Lykin (steeltael.lykin): I spent coutnless hours in the killhouse and on obstacle courses to be as good as I am now. and I'm still learning.
