[16:59:10] Drasamax Python: Welcome to the first Aquila flight meeting. As you should already know I, Drasamax Python am your Aquila flight CO, while Dascede Aluveaux is the new Aquila flight XO, and Wulf Lykin is now the Aquila flight ADJ a recent additional role added to the flight.

[16:59:39] Drasamax Python: What do we do? The ADJ goes around every Wednesday and collects the reports from the pilots and fill them into a note card which is then turned into the XO. The XO will type a report on those and possibly be IMing you to talk about things from time to time though that doesn‘t mean the CO and ADJ might not as well. The XO then turns the report into the CO and the CO adds the final touches and checks up as well as doing PRFs and recommendations and that stuff before

[17:01:32] Drasamax Python: I recently updated the Aquila logo since I felt it was a bit dull and needed a upgrade for a long time. Thing took me like 2 hours since my image program crashed on me and it tends to do that a lot and I didn’t save it so had to do it over again. But it got done and I think it looks good. I attached it to a notice so if you didn’t see it you know were to look to find it.

[17:02:15] Drasamax Python: At this time we don’t feel a need to hold group trainings because there is an Astra Melee held everyday at 8:00 PM SLT anyway so I encourage you all to attend them when they start holding them again as we rarely get to spread our wings off base so as it is. Not only will it help keeping your touch in flying they can be a lot of fun since its not always just normal giant dogfights. We do things like “Shark Chase” were someone like me (lol) chases down all other pilots going at a slower throttle without guns with only my sword. And I think the other it was nicknamed “Pirates” were there is two drop ships loaded up with people trying to shoot each other with muskets or modern guns. But its always open to more ideas as we are.

[17:02:56] Drasamax Python: As for group raids, group raids don’t have to be strictly air to air raids they can be ground raids as well. I have dedicated Ookamiwulf Lemton to hold Aquila flight raids though this doesn’t mean the CO, XO, ADJ or even our E-8s in general won’t be holding some of these as well over time. However if you are an E-5 to E-7 in the flight and are interested in holding a raid feel free to poke me, Drasamax Python, or Sebris Montpark to accompany you as SOG backup for any E-8 targets you want to raid or lower in general. As for E-4s they require Officer approval and to be accompanied by E-8 or higher. Which sadly isn’t the case as most of you are below E-4 still at this time. So if you want to get there remember to do those Promotion exams and requirements!

[17:03:41] Drasamax Python: Some of you may already know there is a unit competition going on since the 16th of April to the 23rd of April with a special QP award for the winning unit. Astra counts as a unit as a whole so please participate in Astra raids when the opportunity is given. Only 4 Astra is required for it to be considered an Astra raid and it must last at least 30 minutes. Ookamiwulf has been leading many Astra related raids this week and I’m sure there will be plenty more. The Astra Praefectus wants to see Astra win that competition, so lets give it our best even though it‘s a bit late to be mentioning this today but a few more raids wouldn‘t hurt.

[17:04:56] Drasamax Python: There are some extra Curricular roles you can get yourself in Ordo if you feel that Astra isn’t keeping you occupied enough while standing around on base. And I’m not trying to sound like a Advertiser :P

[17:05:10] Drasamax Python: The Imperial Education Administration also known as the IEA houses 3 sub categories: Schola, Armatura, and Ludi. I’m sure you are familiar with most of these after all one is part of your first experience here at Ordo. Schola Magisters teach new recruits, while Armatura Magisters teach the basics of some of your gear and combat, and Ludi Magisters teach extra training courses such as Tank training. Rank E-3 or up, a good Curia record, time and a good will to teach is required. If you are interested contact Drasamax Python (Schola), Typhon Perun (Armatura), Awanken Wasp(Ludi), Corsi Mousehold, or Zero Itamae.

[17:05:39] Drasamax Python: Tactica is another group one can apply for if they are interested in information gathering reports and intelligence on enemy military bases such as you’ve seen on the Tactica Board in the raid room. I believe E-3 and up is required. Though contact Corsi Mousehold if interested.

[17:06:12] Drasamax Python: Curia is a group dealing with mainly regulations, solving issues and a few other things as you learned in Schola. Curia occasionally opens up looking for applications every so often. Usually Lictors and Consularii I believe. Curia is run by Heather Mckay but if interested try to keep an eye out for application openings on the forums. Basic requirements are usually E-3 and up, having a good Curia record, and able to be professional.

[17:10:33] Drasamax Python: I am Drasamax Python, rank E-8 Praepositus from Astra division. I am the Aquila CO as most of you already know. Some of you may also know I am the Schola Director from having a Magister position in the IEA. One of my main goals in Ordo is to join the Praetorian Guard which unfortunately didn’t go through for past 2 trials (2 years worth of waiting) but I plan to try again next year and apply for the Auxilliary for now. Hopefully the 3rd time is the charm as they say. After all I consider Ordo a family to me and I am proud to be a member of the Ordo Imperialis.

[17:10:53] Drasamax Python: Some non Ordo things about me: I am 19 years old my birthday is September 13th, 1991. My main fursona is a Chimera(Fox, Griffin, Crux, dragon, ram sometimes Shark). My zodiac sign is Virgo, and my Chinese Zodiac sign is the Sheep/goat/ram. I have a bit of a social phobia sometimes which isn’t as noticeable online since I am more comfortable around others online or when I get to know them(Why I don‘t talk much sometimes but I am friendly). I‘m horrible at math. I like animals, I have a pet cat which is a Turkish Van, I used to have Veil tail Calico Goldfish, a Ryukin Goldfish, and a Beta fish before they passed away though I do like Aquatics. I commonly like using the colors red black white and yellow in my character themes. I have a some of artistic talent and draw pictures sometimes or do SL avatar mods with textures though I have my limits. I watch anime occasionally or old cartoons I think were good compared to the stuff that comes out today.

As you may know I'm a raid junkie that loves to take and lead raids. My main goal is to bring back Astra to it's fullest activity, but not only that. [17:26:06] Aerus Garnet: I'm Aerus Garnet. I'm pretty new to Ordo and really SL in general. Been in Ordo for about 2 1/2 months and I'm currently an E-3. My short term goal is to get to NCO and in general help Astra grow. I'm also a Schola Magister and as of yesterday also a Paleastra instructor. I'd really like to see Astra be a division that fresh Ordo flock to as well as see the air combat community grow in general.

[17:29:41] Aerus Garnet: I'm 27 and unfortunately (as I see it) a child of the 80's, born back in January of '84. I'm currently a civvie flight instructor though I recently applied for the airlines. Although my job requires people skills I'm actually really shy and it sometimes shows through even online. That's why I'm quiet a lot. I fancy myself a writer but rarely find the time to complete anything. Oh and I'm a video game nut so I spend almost all of my free time crammed in front of a screen, lol.
