    • Yea.
    • Nope.
    • I'm poor and I don't have a vehicle.
    • I'm a girl.
    • I'm a girl, and I can drive a manual transmission better than you.

i learned driving with manual controll, and my first car was a manual and the mercedes 190 i still have is a 4 shift manual control car.

im not a fan of automatic, though it might come to a day i buy an old american brick of a car. something like a cadillac fleetwood for the long cruisins.

I actually learned on a very sensitive manual the first time I drove. Of course, it was technically a sports car (1990 Ford Probe), but I did drive for about a year on a pickup that was also a manual (1988 Mazda B2200 Cab Plus). That was fun to drive. I now drive an automatic, but for my next car, I may end up either getting a sports shift (hybrid between an automatic and a manual) or a CVT (Constant variable transmission).

Automatic cars are almost unheard of in the uk, and the few that are about are owned by the elderly/disabled/special access. You learn on a stick, drive stick, everything is 'manual' over here, we don't call it 'stick'

It's true, many people in America can't drive for shit even with a machine in their transmission that shifts gears at the appropriate time for them. However, y'all have Ffffed up cars with the steering wheel and shit on the wrong side, so we're even I guess.

Meanwhile, in Japan:

idk that's how it is here for me Marc and I drive stick just fine. :p

I really want a mustang with a manual transmission, or at least to test drive one, just to feel what it's like when the clutch bites on it. But that's a big jump from what I drive right now HP wise, I would probably spin the wheels on it for about a week before I get used to it.

I drive a (semi)old escort ZX2 S/R, that really doesn't go above 80mph anymore cause of the engine's age.
