Cygna
To Enlisted:If an Officer orders you to goto them or they TP you to them for one reason or another, you are expected to stay in the presence of the Officer until dismissed. If it's an emergency and you have to leave you may request to be dismissed (post-pone the meeting until later). If you don't like it, this isn't the place for you.I've had one too many issues with this lately, and some other Officers are having this issue as well. If the Officer appears to be through speaking with you yet they don't dismiss you, they could have forgotten. In this scenario you may want to request dismissal.IRL is a different story. If you get disconnected or your power goes out (or whatever), then that's completely understandable. TPing away in SL to watch your a friend rub mac-n-cheese on themselves is not. Rei Kuhr
I want to add to this.We as Officers do not pull you aside just because we feel like it. Generally it's because we have our jobs to handle. So dont take it personally. If you dont feel like following orders, then you're in the wrong group. We give orders not out of narcissism, but because others depend on us to do our jobs, and we depend on you enlisted to carry out our orders. Now, of course if you feel an Officer is being out of line, then bring it up with them PRIVATELY. We will never hold you if you truly have somewhere to be. But that does not mean you can walk off until the job is finished. If you really have to go in the presence of an officer, we will not be insulted or irritated if you have to go for a RL reason.
