Aryte
There has been some reluctance as of late to engage approaching, potential hostiles. A few things we need to keep in mind: foremost, the wall is a secure point. The moment someone crosses behind it without explicit authorization, they are free game. Don't abuse this standard, but, enforce it.For example, if a hapless civilian wanders behind the wall . . judgment call: danger or no danger? Shoot first, ask questions later if needs be.Every entrance to the sim must be heeded, regardless of what Mercury says. Mercury is not always up to date-- it takes maintenance. If someone enters, check their profile and monitor them until intentions are gauged.Communication is important. Be sure to note if you've contacted someone: speaking to them and assessing the situation is important in every event.Always TP allies, and always monitor hostiles. If a target breaches the wall, we've made an error! There is room to apologize if you blow away a hapless civilian, there is not room to repair the embarrassment of being blown away by a not hapless hostile.
