Aryte
I've been pretty guilty of it myself, but it is important to maintain standards when handling OIC. Officers, please, please remember the importance of being an active command presence. If you must leave Titan, announce it. Let folks know, and pass command. Failing presence of another officer, give it to a senior NCO. It may take you a couple minutes, but it spares a lot of confusion for the group.Without an OIC on watch, orders are left unanswered. If someone is attacking, the OIC is the fella' who should be calling who's who, who goes where, what's to be shot.
