Aryte
[18:01:14] Aryte Vesperia: Oh .. balls. I forgot to pull stats.[18:01:33] Aryte Vesperia: Well. Welcome everyone. Pardon me as I do that on the fly.[18:02:28] Aryte Vesperia: 277 members, 8 cadets, 10 applications, 4 accepted.[18:02:38] Aryte Vesperia: Some retarded amount of defenses.[18:03:16] Aryte Vesperia: Lots of PS2 and SL manhours. rofl.[18:04:12] Aryte Vesperia: Any unit reports this eve'? I told the legions they're free, but if anyone else has one![18:05:14] Aryte Vesperia: Excellente. Moving on.[18:05:24] Aryte Vesperia: ✠ Revisions to Meeting Procedure[18:05:26] Aryte Vesperia: Awww yis.[18:05:58] Aryte Vesperia: With our ongoing transition and growth, we will be changing the way that we handle our weekly meeting. This will be the last meeting that is entirely text. Going forward, we will be incorporating our PS2 centric members into the gathering by holding the meeting over TS3. Same time, same day—furthermore, meeting notes will still be posted on the forums to ensure that folks who do not have the opportunity to participate will have the chance to keep on top of any discussion that we have.[18:06:57] Aryte Vesperia: The process that we follow during the meeting shall also be undergoing some revision. We will, as mentioned some weeks back, be reporting overall man hours of activity, rather than specific raid events. PS2 major ops will factor into this total man hour compilation. Legions and primary divisions will still provide briefs on their activities, and we will still go over major topics. The difference, aside from voice, is our topics will be tailored more upon universal matters, and/or a blend of PS2/SL matters.[18:08:37] Aryte Vesperia: Over the course of the coming weeks, we will be steadily increasing the cohesion between both or PS2 and SL elements. Ultimately, we aim to reach a cohesion in which our PS2 folks feel just as included in the Ordo as you do. There will be equivalent introduction and recruitment protocol to ensure consistency.[18:09:50] Aryte Vesperia: I can field a couple questions on that, if anyone has any. Just raise thy hand.[18:10:52] Aryte Vesperia: Moving on, then![18:10:57] Aryte Vesperia: ✠ Schedules and You[18:12:07] Aryte Vesperia: Our schedule is in full swing. As time persists, we will continue pushing to make this more methodical. The schedule listing is provided on both the calendar and on the public section of the forums. Our current method is to have alternating focus days, while leaving the weekend open for filling in any gaps. We will largely determine what the “gaps” are based upon activity over the course of the week and the situations involved in the day.[18:13:05] Aryte Vesperia: With the schedule, comes a new feature on Mercury: stand down mode. The OIC or an officer can access it by messaging Mercury:mercury standdownSimply send it to her a second time to disable the mode.[18:13:56] Aryte Vesperia: When engaged, stand down mode automatically sends a message to both visitors and attackers. The message advises the individual to contact the OIC and provides them a link to our schedule in the public section of the forums. Attackers who ignore the warning automatically get booted upon trying to exit the spawn.[18:14:42] Aryte Vesperia: When do you use stand down mode?- during days we schedule PS2 events (or other group wide game events).- during late hours when the defense isn't interested in fighting lone wolve[18:14:45] Aryte Vesperia: +s.[18:15:37] Aryte Vesperia: Does this mean we are closed? No, not at all. It means we are busy doing other things or it's an obscene hour and we have better things to do than to fight the random single attacker at 4 AM. When stand down is engaged, it provides the OIC the opportunity to facilitate interactions. Even during PS2 centric days-- let's say a raid team shows up and gets the automated message. All that team needs to do is follow the directions: contact the OIC and ask "hey, is now a good time?" The OIC will then check with the PS2 folks and, if interest is there/folks are not busy with an op, then we will get organized and provide the attackers the opportunity. Failing that, the OIC will schedule a time with them![18:16:34] Aryte Vesperia: Any questions?[18:17:07] Ken Bremer raises hand[18:17:31] Aryte Vesperia: Mr. Bremer.[18:18:56] Ken Bremer: when it comes to the schedule and such even if its a PS2 day we aren't fully required to be on if we don't really feel up to it correct. I pretty much already know but figured I would ask anyway.[18:19:47] Aryte Vesperia: Of course not. Thus why we are using this Mercury mode, rather than just locking the sim. So, let's say there's a PS2 day and you are on Titan-- people show up to attack, the OIC can disable stand down and combat can occur.[18:20:13] Huttser Ishelwood raises hand.[18:20:15] Aryte Vesperia: Or you can disable stand down and go raid, etc.[18:20:20] Ken Bremer: right.[18:20:27] Aryte Vesperia: Mr. Ishelwood the 3rd of Northshire?[18:20:51] Aryte Vesperia: (Esq.)[18:21:28] Huttser Ishelwood: Is stand-down mode to be turned on by default on PS2/other game days?[18:22:39] Aryte Vesperia: No. OIC discretion. But it needs to be used when it's a scheduled day-- EX: PS2 day, and there's a major PS2 OP out.[18:23:34] Aryte Vesperia: It really needs to be stressed the idea here is not "you can't play PS2 on X day, and you can't play SL on X day." It's "the group is focusing on this on X day."[18:23:59] Aryte Vesperia: Stand down mode facilitates that, to ensure we don't have an incident like . . oh, say, ARMA night, where it got ruined because one person wanted the sim open and 2142 attacked us. :J[18:24:41] Aryte Vesperia: Does that make sense?[18:25:23] Aryte Vesperia: I will take that as a yes.[18:26:41] Aryte Vesperia: Moving on, then.[18:26:46] Aryte Vesperia: ✠ Legions[18:27:35] Aryte Vesperia: The legions have been launched. Hydra and Hades are live and well underway with their invitation efforts. Temporarily, we are immediately waiving graduates from Schola direct to a legion. In the future, recent graduates will be placed into Auxiliary and recruited from there.[18:28:38] Aryte Vesperia: At the moment, Auxiliary is still in establishment mode. Mr. Yifu has taken the lead and is handling invitations for me. For those who do not recall, Auxiliary is both the pool for new members, but also the holding queue for reserve personnel. Individuals who are too inactive to accept said Auxiliary invitation will find their names on the purge list.[18:30:17] Aryte Vesperia: If you are not yet in a legion, find your name on http://forums.ordoimperialis.com/index.php?/topic/18495-legionary-lists/ and contact the corresponding leader. If by some chance you are not listed . . . well, pick one of the legions and contact the commander. They will get you situated.[18:31:45] Aryte Vesperia: Transferring from a legion, once you are assigned to one, will be done on rare circumstance only. There should not be many reasons in which someone should have to.[18:34:39] Aryte Vesperia: Annnd that's that for tonight. Have a good evenin'![18:34:43] Aryte Vesperia: Dismissed.[18:34:44] Aryte Vesperia salutes.[18:34:47] Markius Faulkner salutes "Pro Imperatore ac Imperio!"[18:34:48] Kasumi Quartz salutes, " Ruhm zu dem Imperator"[18:34:48] Tsume Xiao salutes. "Eeeyup."[18:34:50] Shizzerk Kostolany salutes![18:34:50] Siaetto Resident salutes![18:34:50] Incognitustealthy Resident salutes.[18:34:50] Syn Solo salutes!
