There seem to be a few individuals who have played or still play now and again, "Lord of the Rings: Online". With enough interest, The Ordo Imperialis is always ready to support it's members and assist in setting a little something up for them.

 

At the moment we're looking for more information of what interested individuals have in characters, on what server/s.

I've got a 76 guardian on Silverlode, but I don't mind moving servers.

 

In order to start a kinship you need eight people to join within five days, so with a bit of alt finangling we could get something going even if we don't have eight people initially interested.

OMG, I played that a little, bought one of the classes cause I thought it was cool, didn't play a ton though, didn't have a lot of time.

Personally I prefer RP servers, people seem to be more friendly, but I have characters on Laurelin and Brandywine

It's nifty, but incredibly limited as a free-to-play title, being a Sony product. Basically like... What. 8 or 10 classes in total, you get a choice of about 3 or 4 without paying cash.

I remember hearing about this game back in 2007 I think. Never really got into it. I might have a look if more people plan on playing it again but... not a 100% sure.

having played it somewhat recently.. you get more than 3 or 4 classes, THOUGH it seems the most advanced classes are pay to play.  That said, the basic ones are free.

 

Played as a dwarven warrior, the play was decent, the storyline rather good.  Graphics were not the best comparatively, and the play got rather stale (despite some impressively original quests).  The biggest hinderance to play was being alone, if you arent with a group it can and will get stale fast.

 

I didn't get to experience alot of game features before moving on.. but it does look to have alot of potential.

If anyone else decides to start playing you should totally roll up a hobbit. Mostly because a kinship composed of a bunch of hobbits and Xoza is hilarious.

Started a human minstrel named Dragonjaw on Silverlode..  Game feels dated, but it's still fun.   Got to level 4 before logging for work.

Anyone interested in trying out this game it's free to play and if we can get a pretty good group there it should be easy to level. I'd like to see if there's enough interest to start a chapter of Ordo there. Let me know!

I have a couple characters out there for lotro.  I go back to it so often in between other games that I lament the fact I didn't get the lifetime member sub for 199 when it came out...

I too have a character and know a few others that do as well. I just haven't touched it for years so I don't have it installed.
