If you are not prepared to "fill the part" of a soldier, the Ordo Imperialis is not for you. You will be held accountable for your actions, and treated on a professional level-- ignorance is not an excuse! Understand that any information obtained regarding loyalty concerns specific to your person CAN and WILL be utilized. Furthermore, applications submitted by those undera the avatar age of five months will not be considered, unless a former charac- ter can be proven. By submitting this application, you ACKNOWLEDGE and ACCEPT the above clause. You will be expected to have read it by the time of applying! If not, be sure to acquire a copy from any current Ordo member. It is also avai- lable at the spawn location within the region 'Titan.' Fill out each question thoroughly. A few words will not suffice for most answers. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Name of applicant. (avatar) - Today's date. - Date of avatar creation. (if a second+ account, list original) - Timezone. (GMT, PST, etc) - Usual time spent on Second Life. (example: Monday through Friday, after 5pm) - Where, or from whom did you hear about the Ordo Imperialis? (names and details; 'a friend' won't cut it) - Why do you wish to join the Ordo Imperialis? - What are your aspirations within the Ordo Imperialis? (for example, where do you see yourself in a month) - Do you have any prior experience with Second Life military? Truth is important; prior membership in a hostile organization will not result in an immediate denial. (list in order, include time of joining and time of leaving each organization) - If you are a former member of another SL military, explain why you left each one. - Do you have any prior experience with a real military/law enforcement? (voluntary to answer this question) - Are you currently in another military group that actively combats other groups on Second Life combat land? - Are you currently a member of a combat RP group? If so, which? (meter based/non-LL damage combat) - Do you understand that the Ordo Imperialis is an exclusive organization, and that by the time of applying you will have to have resigned from any other military organizations? (this includes alternate accounts) - Do you know anyone within the Ordo on a personal level? (personal is defined as 'enough to be considered a friend/ able to vouch for your integrity) - Will you abide by group regulations, as outlined within the Ordo Imperialis handbook? - Do you have any problems with not utilizing auto-killing technology, personal shielding devices, or other mechanisms not otherwise granted by the organization? - What is your division of interest within the Ordo? (Astra, Navis, Terra) - Do you feel you are "above the average soldier"? Why or why not? - What do you feel that you are capable of bringing to the Ordo? What is being added to the collec- tive good of the organization by inviting you? - What is more important to you: loyalty, honor, or justice? Why? - What is a "lone wolf" operation? Are you allowed to conduct one while a member of the Ordo Imperialis? Created 07/13/08.I-102: Professional attire is necessary while within operational functions. Operational functions include any jurisdiction outlined to the Ordo Imperialis and Her allies. a. Ordo uniform is preferred in all situations; enforced in combat without exception. b. Business casual and business attire is acceptable for wear during inactive periods inside of Ordo territory. b1. Business attire: conservative wear: suits, ties, turtle necks-- any attire befitting a professional atmosphere. c. It is acceptable to wear casual wear (tasteful) within the barracks aboard the Vae Victus. No other exceptions. d. Munitorum personnel whom are ONLY enlisted within the Munitorum may dress in business casual at any time. d1. Munitorum personnel who are ONLY enlisted in the Munitorum are considered government employees. d2. Munitorum personnel who are DUAL enlisted within a military division must follow MILITARY dress rules (I-102 a.)I-109: Discharging of one's weapon should be limited to active combat, or sanctioned training exercises. a. Sanctioned training is any group-based exercise with oversight from an officer grade official. a1. Sanctioned training does not include "random" combat between a small number of individuals. b. Discharging weapons at random for the sake of "testing it" is unacceptable, unless: b1. Exception: explicit approval may be granted by the officer in charge within (TITAN). b2. Exception: discharging for testing purposes may be acceptable if in reason and cleared over battlecom. c. MOST WEAPONS TESTING should be handled in Chronus.
