So a new definition was drafted, and hopefully will be added to the handbook fairly soon. The new definition is:Navis, quite simply, operates all sizes of fleet ships within The Ordo Imperialis. They are in charge of recovering fallen comrades, serving as a mobile airborne command point for field commanders to view the field from, acting as an airborne fortress and gunnery platform, and delivering high-yield explosives upon the enemies of the Imperator. Navis is divided into two departments: Departmento Classis handles the smaller ships, concerning medium-grade munitions and recovering fallen comrades; Departmento Exterminatus handles the capital ships, and all of the largest munitions found within the Ordo Imperialis. With many roles available (pilots, anti-air gunners, anti-ground gunners, munitions deployers, and commanders) Navis has a position for everyone.Also, we are replacing the current line of ships a bit early, and adding in a temporary ship, "The Admonitor". School and the like.Three trainees in the immediate queue -- Daffee, CptMatthew, and now Desereck who has upgraded his hardware.Discussion for the future of the Apostles continues. Kristian Posted September 23, 2008 Share Posted September 23, 2008 Schola: Recruitment was good the last week, this is probably because something is going on in the mercz and many mercz officers and S-enlisted have been resigning to join Ordo. Working on drafts for a possible restart of Auxilla, the schedule problem and a possible revision of the outline/handbook to fix the Navis definition. Astra: Referring you to Sosarn's post but i want to add a thought that bothered me for a while. Astra is not equiped well enough in my opinion. Astra has been losing cadets to Terra because 90% of all the released gear is issued to Terra. Astra is the only flight division that issues only one plane that only has chainguns. Mercz, AN, and even sparta have more options on their planes. I would like to see progress on the strikefighter and try to expand our amount of weaponry for specialisations and more difference.
