Peter Vaughan, partially blind actor best known for playing Aemon Targaryen on HBO's "Game of Thrones," died Dec. 6 at 93. Greg Lake, co-founding member of King Crimson and Emerson, Lake & Palmer, died Dec. 7 at 69. And then yes John Glenn, the first American to orbit the Earth and a former U.S. senator, died Dec. 8 at 95.
