  1. Are there any Nvidia cards that use 2 8 pin pice power? My sleeved cables don't work with 6 pins.

Try TGT graphics cards or dual-pcb cards. I have heard there are some that require 2x8pin connectors instead of 2x2+4pin.

Probably something High-grade as well like 580 or 680/690.

  2. Cool man! Post some pictures when you're done!
  3. Great to have you man, and if I end up going on a ski trip I'll let you know! I hang round new york mostly.
  4. Yeah, I was surprised how much real duels look like the trailer. Lots of long combinations and complex footwork with good duelists. The game is very fast paced, duels can turn around in less than 30 seconds. As far as I know, the only aid you get is the predicted sword path of the opponent's attack, which can change at any time. The game's learning curve isn't too aggressive either, I was able to hold my own against some great players for a while, often getting their health bar to 1/4 or so.
  5. Geez, it's been a while since I played that. I'll update my client now. Also, I think vindictus is on steam now for those who don't want to download an exe.
  6. Yeah, I bought it just because I had the extra cash, but was surprised with the difficulty. I'll be playing more of it soon.
  7. Hey all, just got this game, and it seems like something a lot of us would enjoy. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4MXEuyPx9-8 Info: Blade Symphony is a sword fighting game revolving around skillful dueling and team battles. In this game, there are no unlockable abilities beyond what you begin with; all upgrades are for looks only. That said, there are many different styles of fighting available to you. There are 4 different characters differing in fighting style (aggressive, air combat, heavy defense, lunges) which you can choose. On top of this, there are 5 sword styles you may select: long sword, fencing, kenjutsu, ninjutsu, and wushu. Each selection has strengths and weaknesses so no one is invincible. Each attack has an opening, and can be exploited if you aren't careful. This game still is a beta if I am correct, so balancing may be/is occurring. My experience so far: So far this game has challenged me to think critically before making any attacks or selecting a stance. Every action I make leaves me vulnerable to something else, so I must constantly change tactics to string together successful combinations. I have yet to win any duels against the fierce competition, but watching people fight helps a lot. Everything is in real time, and you must anticipate actions. I am going to continue the tutorial until I better understand this game's mechanics. So overall, I think this game has some potential, and if there's enough interest, maybe a chapter could be made. I recommend any WOTR chapter members or medieval game enthusiasts pick this up on steam for $7.49
  8. I've decided building a second computer would not be ideal. I attempted running ~150ft of cat6 into the basement, hoping I could use hdmi-cat6 adapters, but there was no possible cable route that wouldn't require a lot of work. This leaves me with the ps4 vs buying a new case for my pc that allows me to move it without worry. I currently use the silverstone FT02 which I am deathly afraid of dropping. I will update with my decision.
  9. Went from doing 47 push ups on tuesday to 22 today. I'm unsure if it's me using better form, not taking a day off, or both.

Could be muscle fatigue! I always take a two day break before any PT test.

  10. I see what you mean. No, I don't plan on using this feature to stream games, but will for windows updates and driver updates where downloads/installs take a while. I want the pc to remain up to date, so a convenient way to do this is using teamviewer or mstsc /admin /v:computerupstairs. Thanks for the info!
  11. Ah, forgot about that. I was over complicating the solution. Thanks
  12. Hey all, I'm a bit new here and decided that asking/helping out here would help get to know some of you. So, here goes. My current setup is on the 2nd floor of my home. I love it very much, however it is inadequate for guests/entertaining. I have a television in the basement which is currently being used for a home theater. I figure I hook up a new rig to the television, and allow myself to play games on it. I currently cannot run video/usb to the tv due to usb's poor performance when converted to cat6, or as a long wire. This seems simple enough, I just build a computer and hook it up. My questions are as follows: What parts should I be aiming for? I am familiar with hardware, but could use advise. How can I remote take over with my rig upstairs to do drivers/software? I would find this easier than running up and downstairs to do quick updates. How could I get my games to the new pc? I don't mind downloading again, but it's a pain at times. Here is the proposed part list. 13. Hey everyone, IronThunder77 here. Glad to be a part of the group, and I look forward to playing with you all. I have been playing War Of The Roses almost exclusively, but am now beginning Planetside 2. Again, glad to be onboard.
