Things you hate about the ordo
Timmahy Widget replied to Gunau Sodwind's topic in General Discussion
At 0.025ms of script time (when flying), they don't lag, period. Your network connection just isn't fast enough to see them >_> -
Oh, snap. 152.
-
I will not take an IQ test. :|

Welcome! I hope you're able to figure out a solution! :)

Lol. Cars can run on water. They separate the hydrogen from the oxygen... They're called hydrogen fuel-cell cars.

What song you are listening you right now?
Timmahy Widget replied to MikeMurdock McMillan's topic in General Discussion
I'm listening to: My Instructor: Droning on ... :( -
You're neglecting the fact that many (if not all) commercial power companies are beginning to provide renewable energy in addition to fossil-fuel and nuclear power. So this "grid" energy (which you don't even need if you set up your own wind turbine / solar panels / geothermal generator / etc.), is not necessarily dependent on the fossil fuels you suggest.

Military Etiquette Reminder
Timmahy Widget replied to Sosarin Demar's topic in Announcements & Guidelines
.. god damn. -
It was posted several times in group communications, including notices.

From what I saw the only person's posts you have deleted are my own. I guess I should just delete my account if freedom of expression is something the Ordo Imperialis frowns upon.

Frumentarii Ordo Secrets, omg!
Timmahy Widget replied to Devastator Bluebird's topic in General Discussion
Clearly there is no consistent definition, care to clarify? ;) -
Uhh. And if those are both you, you should feel ashamed of yourself.
-
Lol. Why is everyone taking it so seriously? It sure made me laugh. No doubt they made it because they wanted a negative reaction from you guys, and you're giving it to them. :P

I think we're gaining members too fast, and perhaps this is the best way to quell that. An alternative approach may be to keep registration open, but dramatically increase our standards for acceptance, such that only the best of the best get in. Though, this is SL. The "best of the best" doesn't exist readily. :\

Utility HUD: Commands, Grenades, and Grappling
Timmahy Widget replied to Sosarin Demar's topic in General Discussion
Oh. Well it already does that. >.> (( goto:cam works in any sim as long as you can build. )) I thought he said that if you're in Titan, you could go to.. let's say Ludwigsburg up north of us, via HUD. Which I find hard to believe. >.> No, this will goto any location (even those not in your current sim). The way it works: If the target is NOT in the current sim, it'll open the Linden-map with a direct TP to the other sim. If there is a telehub (so you can't get to the exact target coordinates), it'll rez a TP ball after teleport that'll take you the remainder of the way. -
Utility HUD: Commands, Grenades, and Grappling
Timmahy Widget replied to Sosarin Demar's topic in General Discussion
Funnily enough, that's a feature I put in the next HUD. It has a configuration notecard, where one can add custom locations, nicknames, etc. Examples: "rez:praeda" would rez "Ordo Imperialis; Praeda v2.1239-182asdlap[s dl a-wda" "goto:baldy" would goto "Joseph Spearmann" "goto:eastside" would go to the East side of Titan. Additionally, the "goto" function would work for any sim. If the target location is in the current sim, it would rez a TP ball. If it was in another sim, it'd open up the map with a direct TP. -

But where's the fun in that? -
Utility HUD: Commands, Grenades, and Grappling

This is an excellent article, well done. I can see you've clearly thought it through. Comments wise: The contact options are essentially contact + 0 seconds, and contact + 1 second. The time only starts after collision (as opposed to the simple timer options). You can also add additional listeners using the listen:x, unlisten:x commands. Channels 0 and 1 are enabled by default (type "listen:list" for a list of active listens). This only works in Titan (currently, at least). "res." should be simply "rez" Finally, you seem to have only brushed the surface, feature-wise. It'd be good to include a discussion of the sensor, PVP reporter, and object rezzer ("rez:x"). -
One with some relevance to the Ordo might be cool. You know, with an Orgo logo and your SL name. ;)

Cool signature. :)

I really like the idea of a signature shop. Any artists (besides Mith) willing to contribute their time?

Post your quotes of win. Whether amusing, embarrassing, or serious, they all have a home here! ;) I'll start with the conclusion to today's assault on 2142:
