Alright. I've got a bit of an issue. A serious one, I wager. Whenever I try to start up the computer, it just goes into a continuous cycle of getting to the XP splash screen thingy with the moving bar at the bottom, and then rebooting. I managed to get to the Windows Advanced Options menu and selected "Disable automatic restart on system failure". Doing so brought up a blue screen on boot with the following message:
STOP: c000021a {fatal system error}
The Windows Logon Process system process terminated unexpectedly with a status of 0xc0000135 (0x00000000 0x00000000)
The system has been shut down.
Also, starting in safe mode or debugging mode or boot logging or VGA mode all does auto-reboot.
I tried to use the CD that came with the system to try to boot it, but the only options are to wipe out C: and start over, wipe out the whole computer and start over, or reconfigure RAID. I do not want to start from scratch.
Help?

X-Com: UFO Defense is the oldest video game I play, I believe.

Bad idea. You can bet that within a week there'd be a dozen insulting entries with higher thumbs-up ratings.

Yes I am sorry, you are all 'latin-american' now :/
You do realize soccer isn't an exclusively Latin American sport, right? And that it's the most popular sport in the world, right?
-
Pfft, its like someone caring about Soccer... you know they can't be American.
I resent that. Soccer is a better game than any of the crap that's been cooked up over here.

Astra -- zoom zoom in planes and/or pew pew on grounds.
Terra -- pew pew on grounds.
Variety: the spice of life! o/
We do better pew pew on the ground though.
It's all about the Pentiums baby.
Terra.

I think he said 'Intimate Brutality,' being the proximity of their slow-motion deathblows. And Ballet of Death <_<

Lack of commentary from Bizcuit or Jason. I'm curious as to what the HC of AN actually feels.
If I know them, they don't like it. However, I don't think they'll either condemn or support it, for prudence's sake. They won't want to condemn it, for fear of hurting relations with IS, and they won't want to support it, because that'll shift the crosshairs to them as well, as well as going against what they probably feel privately.

Jim also rejoined last I was looking around, but the statement is still relevant since they are no longer relevant XD
Jim's been back in since like a week after he left. And also, I dunno if it's correct to dismiss them off-hand. They're not what they used to be, sure, but they can still hold their own.

Iolol is an example of the type of person that drove Trinity out of AN for wanting to change their diplomatic stance towards us. He quit AN but still hasn't let go of the ideals of the old Alliance Navy and can't deal with the fact that it's a new era and times have changed. It's kind of like the old Russians that rant about how great communism was while sitting in the unemployment line. He has no more political authority, he gave that up when he left the AN because he refused to change. His ranting holds as much authority as an old hick ranting about the civil rights movement.
Just my opinion

Incorrect. Iolol rejoined AN. He's a Marine E-1 or E-2 now.
Harlequin rejoined as well, and he's currently a Marine Cadet.

An amazingly deep game. It's a space MMO, except instead of a ship, you're actually a person, part of a crew of a ship. You can be a ship captain, or a ship's tactical officer, or medical officer, or scientist. You can explore the unknown reaches of the galaxy (this game has about 17,000 star systems). Scientists can mix chemicals found while exploring into new drugs, to help or hurt people. You can beam down to planet surfaces and explore. It's truly an amazing game.
Once you get past the poor graphics, anyway. But really, graphics are not really that important when the gameplay is amazing.
In game I'm a Terran named Lendge Tarktrayn, in case you decide to sign up.
Welcome, AN!

Never thought I'd see that happen, haha. I hope it helps the AN get back on its feet and all.
