  1. they can make a pretty CG, but can they make a fun game? the thing that i loved about never winter 1 was the multiplayer where the game master could make up his own world and put whatever foes he wanted in your way. Got rid of all those nasty dice roles that bog down games, with the added bonus of dynamic npc reactions, since the game master could pretty much posess any of them at will to guide the story how he wanted. =3

  2. I quite like doing it over the internet :3 because in real life, there tends to be 1 or 2 charismatic people who tend to dominate and monopolize the roleplay, while online, while everyones talking over each other on mic, i can type out my character actions and still participate :3

  3. I drive in Los Angeles where you are about 5 feet from the car in front of you and behind you, you're all going 70 (~110kph) and people are trying to pass you from both sides, I have more things to worry about than moving a stick around. I drive auto :p

  4. We do have such things:

We have two merits, dominatum and dominatum primus, in addition to the Imperial Warlord title, which in turn has items associated with it.

perhaps some lesser things for those who do not dedicate themselves to raiding every day, but still consistently in a noticeable manner? people to take the pressure off rather than take over completely

shouldnt have to be rewarded for fulfilling a requirement of position. Also, i believe there are already offensive and defensive rewards in place.

obviously the internal feel good success of leading raids inst enough to spur people on to do it, while these people *should* be leading raids there is something holding them back. People do stuff when it in someway benefits them. ether consciously or unconsciously, with a material (gear) or immaterial (attention, honour, reputation, respect) reward. If there is too much risk or work for how the person values the real (or imagined) rewards, the person wont do them.

  5. Revision:

If people arn't leading raids, perhaps an intensive similar to the OIC rewards should be developed, special raid leader doodads and such. People might be more motivated in leading a raid if they are being rewarded rather than trying to meet a quota.

and big epic city in sim city 4... loved this game :D only problem is, once your city gets that big, even with one way streets, commute times to work become insane and people stop living in your buildings (notice all the unlit skyscrapers ;-; ) cause they cant get to work fast enough... even with the miticulous city planning I did it was still impossible to fix the problem... a mod that lowers commute time could help though... or perhaps placing the high tech industrial a bit more intermixiedly instead of just in a big ring around the outside

here is an epic tiny city which i connected to my big one above, xP loving managing income (revenues) and expenses is probably why I'm taking accounting classes ~ in this game it was a pretty big challenge to have a city that actualy made money xD rather than lost it. (slow introduction of services, throttled down to barely meet the needs of the city ~)

  8. Hey! I'm sort of wondering what server to play on, I noticed Mask of Nihilus was were the Republic guild was, so I think thats where I'll go, unless you guys going somewhere else. I plan on making a sith character too, I dont mind which server, but whatever our main sith server guild is gonna be on ~ i wanna know.

  9. That's why we have light, medium, and heavy.

its not a question of categories, its a question of proper discretion.

It is regulation. Defense is first priority. If the OIC determines he or she needs more bodies, then you stop what you're doing and get it done. Whether or not they needed more people is negligible. It's a codified duty. Additionally, in many cases, combat simply attracts. For example "hostile in spawn" mentioned on TS3. The folks who thrive off it get out on to the field and make it happen. As do the folks who follow the regulation to the T.

Regulations are meant to regulate. If you wish to regulate that few people will ever attack titan because of the nigh impossibility of ever accomplishing anything there, or regulate that trainings should be interrupted so that the participants can sit southwest for an hour while the 3 enemies are busy with the 20 people center as they go through the warehouse all day, then these regulations have met their purpose. However, and forgive that sounding sarcastic as quite honestly I do not wish there to be massive raids on titan (I find raiding more fun than defending), I do feel that perhaps these regulations could use some tweaking.
