  1. I quit a few months ago. I got scammed out of my ass without even realizing it. Some bastards stole my ship because I believed I needed to contract it to them in order for them to put it in the corporation hangar I wanted to join.

Several-hundred million ISK-worth of ships down the drain. =/

If you give me your lindens, I'll double them! I swear!

  2. [21:14] Aryte Vesperia: And I like you.

[21:14] Marcus Tinamou: Like, enough to see me naked?

[21:14] Marcus Tinamou: Because i like you too

    [21:14] Aryte Vesperia: Wow, no.

[21:14] Marcus Tinamou: I really think we should never speak of this again

[21:15] Aryte Vesperia: Yeah I already copied it to Hollow.

  3. [18:00:43] Aryte Vesperia shouts: Gooooood evening everyone. As a reminder, please hold your comments until provided the chance to speak. Failure to do so will result in summary execution and/or ridicule. Not necessarily in that order.

[18:01:50] Aryte Vesperia: Diplomatic notes for this evening are a bit interesting. AN matters will be covered in their own topic, but we did run into another situation a couple days ago: the 39th has absolved their alliance with us. In short, their leader decided we are bigots and terrible people because members have accidentally called her “he” on TS3. There is some talk suggesting 39th may ask for a resumption at a later date, but after the dramatic stunt that occurred, we will be respectfully declining.

[18:02:36] Aryte Vesperia: Unit reports this evening?

    [18:03:10] Aryte Vesperia: Mr. Yifu?

    [18:04:03] Hollowmengitus Yifu: COHORS A:

A-I, Invictus: Nothing to out of the ordinary for us, raids were attended to, and plenty of AN leaked vile blood across the planes that they taint. This Tuesday we are going to hold training so I would highly advise you to attend if possible. We love you Maverick and not in the brokeback way >:/

A-II, Evalidus: As you guys already know, Huttser is taking small leave but activities continues in normal manner. Me thinks we still have free slot in the squad so if you are interested feel free to contact us. Btw. Cookies are so overrated nowadays, I rather give out brownies. Brownies are more awesome and goes well with icecream, unless you live in a desert. The heat on a desert will melt the icecream. So does Mordor, but who wants to live in Mordor ?

[18:04:30] Hollowmengitus Yifu: A-III, Insidiae: Attention Ordo. Insidiae wants you! We are looking for fresh faces, wether new to ordo, or long time members. We specialize in explosives and asset denial. If you like to blow things up, we're your squad! If you want more information on Insidiae, send Krow Ames or Bracket Crowley an IM! We'll always be glad to talk about ourselves. SQUAD. Our Squad.

A-IV, Praescius: A-4 Been holding squad and joint raids with other squads. Manage to break into Stalins office and have a tea party at new jessie. Squad been raiding like a like there's no tommorow. Also Congratulation to Genesis Ronmark for becoming A-4 Adjutant. Praecius still has slots yet so if you are wanting to join or even wonder what A-4 is. PLease contact Afevis Sodertelge or Ookamiwulf Lemton.

[18:04:54] Hollowmengitus Yifu: A-V, Saevitas: A great week for A-5. Trainings and raids have once again begun to pick up along with recruitment. As always we extend an invitation for anyone to join in on A-5 trainings.

    [18:05:33] Hollowmengitus Yifu: COHORS B:

    > Thatguy: A few changes with this week in Cohors B. Tsukiyomi has appointed Hutchyy as the B-I Orientation NCO. Marcus has appointed Jayce Iredell to the XO position of B-II. Other than that, raids have been keeping up and there will be inactives transfered throughout. If you are in B-II and are getting in at least one raid a week, you are able to be transfered up to B-I. You will be notified if you are eligible or not, if you are meeting the quota and have not gotten notified, please contact myself.

    [18:05:49] Hollowmengitus Yifu: MISC.:

[18:05:56] Hollowmengitus Yifu: That's all for Terra.

[18:06:19] Aryte Vesperia: Thank you kindly, monsieur.

[18:08:31] Sebris Montpark: That is all from Astra

[18:08:46] Aryte Vesperia: Excellent. Your report somehow rivaled Terra's. Most excellent.

[18:08:56] Aryte Vesperia: Any additional reports?

[18:09:33] Aryte Vesperia: Mr. Dragonash of the North Kingdom?

[18:09:40] Squishy Kishy (kishoshima.dragonash) shouts: Thank you Sir

[18:09:47] Squishy Kishy (kishoshima.dragonash) shouts: Just a quick note from Curia... Reminder: there's a recruitment drive goin on <GEOLOCATION ALERT>, see the forums for more details. It's worthwhile so check it out, just keep in mind we want quality not JUST quantity.. so recruit your friends, bring'em to Ordo. Curia's still looking for more personnell so that we can get everyone trained up and prepped for the recruiting drive, so that more of you guys get a better understanding of what Curia's about, and so that we have the staff already in place for next summer when we get hit again. Just drop me a NC or PM me on the Forums if you're interested. You need to be at LEAST E-4 (though E-3s can and will be considered under certain circumstances) have a LEAST 6 mos in Ordo (same conditions apply), have a clean record, and are not in a command position (preferably but same conditions as above).

    [18:10:42] Aryte Vesperia: Thank you.

[18:10:45] Squishy Kishy (kishoshima.dragonash) shouts: That's all for Curia

    [18:10:47] Aryte Vesperia: Ms. Python?

[18:11:01] Drasamax Python shouts: From myself for The Imperial Education Administration: Activity seems to be at a halt in Schola, Armatura, and Ludi currently. I had pointed out over the Staff group when a cadet was online the otherday but seems it didn't get taken care of anyway. We got another new cadet in Schola recently, Caine Toll who is activley seeking classes(Oh, Hi Caine whos in here). We need to get these cadets taught and so far nothing has really happened except for today some Schola classes got held after some magister poking. :[ Also still no word from the Armatura Director and since there was no announcement of their inactivity is likely we'll have to find a replacement soon if this keeps up.

[18:11:11] Drasamax Python shouts: Not anything else of importance I can think of to note here that has happened besides Maverick still working on his Shotgun course and Radryl's Portuguese class sign ups still being open on the forums. But if you want to be a Magister you can sign up here:

[18:11:32] Drasamax Python shouts: That is all from the Imperial Education Administration.

    [18:11:49] Aryte Vesperia: Most excellent.

[18:11:52] Aryte Vesperia: Final call for reports.

[18:12:14] Aryte Vesperia: Moving right along, then . .

    [18:12:19] Aryte Vesperia: I. Development

[18:12:45] Aryte Vesperia: We have oogles of progress to note this week. Several long term projects have really turned a corner and are pushing toward release—or at least wide distributed beta. First up, the big one: the replacement HUD. Compliments of some elbow grease by Mr. Xiao, the assembly process is well underway. Core component are functional and in the process of being streamlined, tweaked, so on and so forth. I have a test model and have been playing with it for a few days now. Overall, I have to say it is a huge upgrade.

[18:13:13] Aryte Vesperia: For those of you who haven’t kept on top of it, some of the new features you can expect: integrated global coms, throw-able detpacks, barricade actually blocks bullets (and have HP), detpacks are now destroyable, and grenades have multiple throw options. There are other new items to note, but I will let you figure those out when you get it.

[18:14:20] Aryte Vesperia: The Malice has been seeing a lot of testing over the week, primarily in the offensive role against the AN. It has been performing extremely well—with its countermeasures, it really provides the pilot a large toolbox to avoid and deal with AN missile attacks. Additionally, the armored version dramatically enhances its staying power on the battlefield.

[18:14:39] Aryte Vesperia: It also plays music.

    [18:14:49] Tsume Xiao: :/

[18:14:55] Tsume Xiao: No it doesnt.

    [18:14:56] Aryte Vesperia: Demoted.

[18:16:10] Aryte Vesperia: Model wise, a couple of new additions to note: first, Mr. Hand has completed a chainsword for Titan Industries. It is a mesh model, so I have been rather reluctant to do anything with it . . . since I am not yet using mesh client. Haha. Furthermore, he just completed something rather unique that we will be playing with: a psyker staff. Warhammer nerds will know what that is immediately. The rest of you, resort to Google. And lastly, Mr. Hand is working on a new combat helmet for general issue UCA to replace the current full facial mask.

    [18:16:50] Aryte Vesperia: Mister Karlfeldt?

[18:17:41] Markpuff (mark.karlfeldt): Addendums: Disembodied is also working on a quick model - a vendor for the armoury to replace the lockers. Hopefully it has the double whammy of both decreasing prim usage and making searching for gear less of a game of cat and mouse.

    [18:18:51] Aryte Vesperia: Thank you.

[18:18:51] Markpuff (mark.karlfeldt): Secondly, the squad item for Praescius is approaching beta phase, Xoza has been hard at work on a teleport pad for the squad. Praescius members will be able to deploy one entry teleporter and one exit teleporter (both with 10 HP). A nice way to bring out their medic role.

[18:19:08] Markpuff (mark.karlfeldt): Finally, Anlysia has announced their impending retirement. That is all.

[18:19:37] Aryte Vesperia: Uh oh, Karlfeldt ascends the throne.

[18:19:47] Squishy Kishy (kishoshima.dragonash): dundun duuuuuuuun

[18:20:00] Ethan Schuman: Dun dun DUUUUN!

    [18:20:06] Aryte Vesperia: Moving on.

[18:20:08] Markpuff (mark.karlfeldt): I am lord Munitorus. All your equipment belongs to the Karlfeldt empire.

    [18:20:11] Aryte Vesperia: II. Recaps

[18:20:47] Aryte Vesperia: There are several things I want to quickly revisit to ensure everyone is on the same page. Foremost, let’s touch on the ongoing AN campaign. Officially, we have been focusing on the Alliance since last Saturday (although we’ve been hitting them hard for a bit longer). To date, we have launched numerous lengthy deployments, racking up well over a dozen hours of action time just this week. Operationally, we have had huge successes. The AN has maintained a pretty heavy handed approach: despite claims that the AN doesn’t ban, numerous Ordo personnel have been banned from the region for arbitrary reasons. Slowly, but surely, it does appear the restrictions are being removed.

[18:21:37] Aryte Vesperia: On the home front, the AN modus operandi appears to be hitting us late evening or mid-day with aircraft. Their infantry elements have been pretty negligible. Thankfully, the Ordo air power has maintained sanctity over our airspace with ease. It is advised that Astra returns the favor and begins supplementing the infantry/joint attacks with air-dominance raids.

[18:22:31] Aryte Vesperia: Next up, we piloted TS3 this week with a fairly good success rate. We have not had any major issues with the program, outside of some brief outages mid-week. Functionality and quality wise, TS3 has proved to impress. We will continue using it as our primary service henceforth. Please be sure to report any issues that you run in to.

[18:23:53] Aryte Vesperia: Otherwise, as a reminder: scheduled raids are a must to ensure everyone receives a fair chance at deployment. If you are a raid leader, be sure to use the calendar and log in any scheduled events. Do keep in mind scheduled raids are supplementary, not the mainstay: our random events should still comprise a good 80% of activity. Furthermore, we are still shooting for nothing less than three raids a day (total of at least 3 raid hours a day; leniency granted if one raid is like, three hours long).

[18:25:03] Aryte Vesperia: Last two notes: one, still trucking along with OCA follow ups. Apologizes on delay. I am pushing on these as fast as I can. It’s hard to find time with all the stuff going on. But I haven’t forgotten you, I promise. And two, Schola rewrite is coming along very nicely. I am pretty happy with the outcome thus far. Aiming to get a big chunk of it finished this weekend, hopefully with a roll out next weekend.

    [18:25:30] Aryte Vesperia: Mr. Takakura?

[18:25:43] Rowling (arokh.takakura): Make sure you get the duke nukem voice pack from the TS3 website, it's ballin'. And it' really -is- John St. John. If it's too much, just try the default male, that's also him, just less 'duke'. (damnit, this feels off topic now. :V)

    [18:25:58] Aryte Vesperia: Hahaha. Excellent.

[18:26:41] Aryte Vesperia: III. OIC – Incentives

[18:27:13] Aryte Vesperia: The idea came up by one of our awesome officers (Ms. Aquitaine ) that OIC status is a good opportunity really reward folks for taking the initiative of holding the position. The idea is being tossed around about creating a sort of unique reward system, tied in to our current, but items only being accessible by holding OIC status over time.

[18:28:01] Aryte Vesperia: It is still relatively fresh in concept, but the core components would be: items not auto-unlocked by officers (or anyone), items unlock in tiers based upon time spent as OIC. This wouldn’t use any of our existing unlocks, but probably mostly be vanity items/other unique elements that folks could sport. For example—like our ART berets (3:00 tomorrow, not 5:00! SUPER ART).

[18:29:31] Aryte Vesperia: IV. Sim Resources

[18:30:12] Aryte Vesperia: As a reminder, please keep in mind Titan’s resources are valuable: don’t abuse them!  In other words, be sure your avatar is not script heavy—I am a fur av, with a weapon and jetpack. I have 19 active scripts. Without armament and Ordo gear, I have 0. No one has an excuse. Shoot for under 20! 30 is an acceptable level, but 20 is the goal.

[18:30:51] Aryte Vesperia: Otherwise, prim use: please be sure you don’t litter. Pick up your builds when you’re done working on it for the day (unless it is light on the prim use; in which case you may leave it out for a few days).

    [18:31:34] Aryte Vesperia: V. Keynote

[18:33:04] Aryte Vesperia: Respect between members is sacrosanct. We can all agree upon that.

[18:33:55] Aryte Vesperia: Externally, it becomes a lot more convoluted and difficult. We have a lot of pretty bitter enemies outside of the Ordo—people who, in all reality, disrespect us to the highest of degrees. Without a doubt, there are people out there who would relish the opportunity to do any harm possible to the Ordo and wouldn’t shed a tear over any disaster that befalls us.

[18:35:55] Aryte Vesperia: Does that mean we should disrespect them? No, not necessarily. Does it mean we should treat them kindly? Not necessarily. There’s a complicated, but fine line here—on one hand, they do not deserve our respect in the sense that we owe them no reverence, no concession. But on the other hand, we should be certain not to stoop to their levels of disrespect.

[18:36:56] Aryte Vesperia: In detail, what does that mean? Enemies who genuinely seek us harm should not be tolerated, or, per say, “respected” in the sense you’d respect another member of the Ordo. They should, however, be afforded the general respect of a living being—you do not have to be kind to someone to respect them, but you do have to avoid stooping to their level of disrespect.

[18:40:33] Aryte Vesperia shouts: That said. A big thank you to everyone for keeping things on track over this week. We have a good month or two of slow period to go. Make it positive and productive. Keep the recruitment up and the raids higher. As always, you guys continue to impress me. It's always a pleasure. Promotions will be up tomorrow morning. I'll be around most of the evening workin' on stuff, however I am running off for a bit to work out and grab dinner. Keep to it. Much <3. Dismissed.

  4. I have played the game with mods. 500+ people online at once for that game isn't a lot, especially when looking at the server list and most of them are empty. It was fun for a bit, but the game is only enjoyable with people who know what they are doing. This pretty much made any public servers pretty worthless to play on.

I think the biggest strength of the game is playing with a small core of friends through a campaign from start to finish. That's what I saw in videos for it before I decided to pick it up. At this point I wouldn't bother buying the game unless you get it for a super cheap deal on steam or something. Otherwise wait until ArmA 3 comes out and check it out then.

I checked Hollow's server daily for about two weeks and it was always empty. It would have been nice to play with you guys some more, but unfortunately it didn't work out. I don't have the patience to try and get into one or two popular servers during peak hours to find that I can't use any flight vehicles because the majority of the players can't handle the responsibility of using them.

Yeah, sorry about that. Although, if you're serious on wanting to play ArmA II and other tactical games with focused, good, team players I can refer you to http://www.shacktactical.com

Seriously. I played there and ever since I did, ArmA has not been the same without them.

  5. [17:59] Aryte Vesperia shouts: Meeting start. As a reminder: all questions, comments (etc) are to be held until given the opportunity to speak. When that opportunity is provided, be sure to raise your hands. Failure to do so may result in dismissal from the meeting.

    Combat

    Defensive: 106

    Offensive: 19

    Allied Assist: 1

[18:00] Aryte Vesperia: Diplomatic notes: relationship with EE building steadily; Ordo has supported the organization on the field several times this week. We will continue pursuing a strong friendly, but combat-active standing with them. Community activity relatively stable; school semester winding down, only a couple of weeks left until we hit prime-time summer for most folks. Activity spike across the board, especially for us, is imminent.

[18:00] Aryte Vesperia: Unit reports this evening?

[18:00] Lt. Jim Dangle (hollowmengitus.yifu) raises hand for Terra.

    [18:00] Aryte Vesperia: Mr. Yifu.

[18:00] Lt. Jim Dangle (hollowmengitus.yifu) shouts: From Teron for Antesignani: Antesignani strived for an active raid week, and we're happy with our results. Aside the raiding, we've been active on defense as well, including happily giving 2142 their share of knocks in the recent attacks. Training concepts are being prepped for implimentation this coming week, as well as we are hoping to fill our remaining openings in our roster.

[18:01] Lt. Jim Dangle (hollowmengitus.yifu) shouts: From Afevis for Insidiae: Another slow week, we currently have an opening or two so contact either myself or Krow Ames to have a little chat regarding recruitment.

[18:01] Lt. Jim Dangle (hollowmengitus.yifu) shouts: From Stirn for Invictus: This week has been very productive for Invictus, having begun the final stages of scouting for those who have show interest in the squad. With a little luck we should be up to full strength again with the addition of some fresh blood. As far as training goes, Invictus has also begun minor routine training sessions with a few of the B-Century, increasing both A-1 activity and allowing abilities and skill sets to be shared between participants. Finally Invictus has created a Minecraft Server, we have no idea why we did it, we just did. Anyone who wants to get in on the craftin' just needs to ask for the IP. All and all its been a pretty good week for A-1.

[18:01] Lt. Jim Dangle (hollowmengitus.yifu) shouts: From Thatguy for Cohors B: Increase in activity from members within Cohors B, happy to see those results. On top of this, there were a few meets from a couple of the CO's with their members. I will be planning some Century immersion training events for the upcoming week. Most likely just another Cohors B training event for us bros to be bros. Be sure you're keeping active, and remember, training and raids gives you QP :D.

[18:02] Lt. Jim Dangle (hollowmengitus.yifu) shouts: That concludes the Terra report.

[18:02] Aryte Vesperia: Thank you, Mr. Yifu. Additional reports this evening?

[18:02] Ethan Schuman raises his hand for Astra.

    [18:02] Aryte Vesperia: Mr. Schuman.

[18:02] Ethan Schuman shouts: This will be short. Astra activity is holding steady this week, and we've had a couple new pilots join the fold as well. Astra's training program is getting some revision, with new materials and equipment being added, paticularly in the Thanatos department. Our elite unit drafting is progressing well. Unit leads and command elements are going over the material and fleshing out the unit. All that remains now is a small conference with Cohors A command and we'll be ready to launch. I will be out of town for at least 10 days starting sometime next week. With that, Nikki will be holding down the fort while I'm gone.

[18:03] Ethan Schuman shouts: ON THAT NOTE, WE ARE DESPERATELY LOOKING FOR A PLANE BUILDER.

[18:03] Ethan Schuman shouts: We have something specific in mind, so if you know someone who is very good with building and textures, please send them my way.

[18:03] Ethan Schuman shouts: That's all from us this week.

[18:04] Aryte Vesperia: Thank you. Any additional reports?

    [18:04] Aryte Vesperia: Final call.

[18:05] Aryte Vesperia: All righty. Moving on.

[18:06] Aryte Vesperia: Several topics for me to touch on today. I apologize if things are a bit piecemail, I didn't have the opportunity to flesh out my notes. As such, I am largely winging this. Heh!

[18:06] Aryte Vesperia: Those are always fun.

    [18:06] Aryte Vesperia: To begin:

    [18:06] Aryte Vesperia: > Development

[18:08] Aryte Vesperia: First off. Final animations for the Aegis suit are in progress, compliments of Mr. Karlfeldt. As soon as that's done, we will get it shipped off to scripting at a high priority. Fairly excited to see the unit on the field after all the development time invested in it. As a reminder, it will be a general unlock to all divisions-- classified under heavy weapon.

[18:09] Aryte Vesperia: Secondly. Mr. Mousehold provided some animation work to wrap up a sort of forgotten project -- the deployable Browning M2. I will be getting that in the queue for completion. Tentatively, it will likely feature a small amount of HP and provide general infantry a quick hard-point weapon in trade for losing mobility. Sort of a .. less extreme turret.

[18:11] Aryte Vesperia: Mr. Gloom has taken the task of getting the 120mm underway. I gave him free run with the features, so it'll be a surprise to me too. Looking to maintain the basic functions of the Infernus, but with additional kicks to warrant a seperate mortar classification. As a 120mm, it will pack more punch than our current (soon to be phased) artillery piece.

[18:12] Aryte Vesperia: As a side note, Keller lost a degree of work on account of a hard-drive error. That includes the Adjudicator replacement, unfortunately. However, much to Disembodied's dismay, I decided to retask that item to him. It's at the top of the build queue and should see completion within short accord.

[18:12] Aryte Vesperia: Any questions regarding development?

[18:12] Sir Markus Karlfeldt (mark.karlfeldt) raises haaaand

    [18:12] Aryte Vesperia: Mr. Karlfeldt.

[18:13] Sir Markus Karlfeldt (mark.karlfeldt): Just also adding onto the notes, Scarlet may or may have a new weapon for Ordo in the line, tentatively named the Opitas for now. It may or may not replace either the outdated Schola rifle or the general-issue SCAR.

[18:13] Aryte Vesperia: Excellent. Thank you for adding that.

[18:14] Aryte Vesperia: I dislike the name greatly.

[18:14] Aryte Vesperia: just. For the record.

[18:14] Sir Markus Karlfeldt (mark.karlfeldt): Well I dislike your name so deal.

    [18:14] Aryte Vesperia: ;]

    [18:14] Aryte Vesperia: Next up:

    [18:14] Aryte Vesperia: > Weaponry Tier / Multi-Stage Items

[18:15] Aryte Vesperia: I believe this is something we've touched on in the past, however as our armory expands it is quickly becoming a hot topic for development administration: the possibility of having stage items. As in, unlock X and Y to be able to unlock Z.

[18:17] Aryte Vesperia: This would permit general members to sort of specialize their loadouts-- getting the best of a couple worlds at the cost of having to hone their unlocks on a certain "path." To put it into perspective (this is entirely hypothetical, mind you), let's say . . if you unlock the boost pack and jetpack, you become eligible for a combination pack that you then have the capability to unlock.

[18:18] Aryte Vesperia: The same could definitely apply to small arms-- like, unlocking a GL and an advanced rifle, access to a more powerful assault rifle with an underslung (inb4 jokes).

[18:19] Aryte Vesperia: My eventual goal here is to change the armory into a more of "shop" display, where you could sit there and look at a list and see a definitive "tree" of unlocks. Members would then be able to plan their unlocks out, specializing along a specific category to reach more advanced forms of their preferred weaponry.

[18:20] Aryte Vesperia: Like . . Maverick could focus on shotgun related things, and eventually get a beltfed shotgun with lasers or some crap. Not really. But you get the idea.

    [18:20] Maverick Garfield: :_:

[18:21] Aryte Vesperia: This is still much of a "someday" project, as our armory is not large enough to support it. But there's definite intent to make it happen. Stay tuned as it develops further.

[18:21] Aryte Vesperia: Questions before we move on? Try not to get wrapped up in details.

[18:22] Aryte Vesperia: Moving right along, then.

[18:22] Aryte Vesperia: > Forum Structuring / Etc

[18:23] Aryte Vesperia: As I idly mulled about how to best facilitate communications/topics on the fourms . . I came up with a few ideas that I am going to run with.

[18:24] Aryte Vesperia: First: going to move some major topics around and add a sort of "self-help" area to the forums. That way we can move all the tutorials and Ventrilo nonsense there, freeing up like 9432992 sticky posts from the general area.

[18:24] Aryte Vesperia: Additionally, as a few of you may have already noticed . . going to introduce specific prefix to posts to give folks a "oh, this is something that definitely needs to be read." Or "hm! This may be important" sense.

[18:25] Aryte Vesperia: I'll post a whole list, but initially, if you see something that's prefixed with "Action Required," that's kind of command staff and my way of saying "policy change/clarification, read this or you will probably get yelled at."

[18:26] Aryte Vesperia: As part of this, going to revisit the way the "standing order" thread is going -- I speculate not a whole lot of folks check that. Likely because it's not used as much as it should be. Haha.

[18:27] Aryte Vesperia: Going to make it a running post, much like our NC/OIC log, with most recent changes reflected, while the top will list standing action items. That should make it a bit easier to keep track of, and elimiate the need for the 142142412 random posts that pop up in general about changes.

[18:27] Aryte Vesperia: If you run a specific division and need your policy reflected, or are curious if your policies ARE reflected, check the "Policy" section of the forums.

[18:27] Aryte Vesperia: Make sure it's all up to date, or, if need be, that it's added.

[18:28] Aryte Vesperia: Questions before we move on? :]

    [18:28] Aryte Vesperia: Hokay.

[18:29] Aryte Vesperia: > The question about senior NCO status.

[18:30] Aryte Vesperia: Increasingly, we've seen a strong number of folks reaching up for the upper end of NCO-- which is awesome. Kudos to you all! But as part of that, it is really important that we touch on what is really looked for once you push beyond E-5.

[18:31] Aryte Vesperia: Most of the time, anything above E-5 entails holding some sort of position-- XO of a unit, Tactica control, Schola lead, CO of a century, IAC leads, Curia (etc).

[18:33] Aryte Vesperia: The reason being, what we're really looking for is our E-6+ members to take an active involvement in the administrative elements to the group. We're looking to see folks invested beyond their own careers, specifically in the way of helping the growth of other members. This is exactly why I ask for a list of involvement when someone is looking to move beyond E-5.

[18:34] Aryte Vesperia: So definitely keep that in mind-- if you want to push into the senior NCO ranks, it will help you immensely to get involved. If you're curious as to how: best place to start is checking with your chain of command. If there's nothing available there, start bugging the secondary units-- IAC (Hollowmengitus), Tactica (Corsi), IEA (Zero Itamae), etc, etc.

    [18:34] Aryte Vesperia: Questions?

    [18:35] Aryte Vesperia: Typon?

    [18:35] Aryte Vesperia: Typhon.

[18:37] Typhon Solum (typhon.perun) shouts: I just put a post in the suggestion box that might help with this from my own RL military expeince regarding a position we already have in Ordo, the Adjunts. I know we just use them as paperpushes, but my own UISN experince shows there equivlents to be more like career councilers to those new to there divisions. Maybe we could look in to expanding those duties to inculde that as well to help with this.

[18:37] Aryte Vesperia: That's definitely at the discretion of your chain of command.

    [18:37] Aryte Vesperia: Takakakakakura?

[18:38] Arokh Takakura: Curia's consilliators, namely Sosarin act as some fine Career counsellors for any division of Ordo and are available at your beck and call at any time they are online, including myself.

    [18:39] Aryte Vesperia: True that.

[18:39] Aryte Vesperia: Any last questions?

    [18:40] Aryte Vesperia: Right-o.

[18:41] Aryte Vesperia: That's it, then. Easy meeting tonight. Thank you all for coming. As always, I appreciate it. Promotions will be up tomorrow. Let's get some raids a'rolling. Anyone who has taken a Tier 1 session of ART and would like to do an observation run, IM me after this meeting immediately so I can sneak you into a raid. :]

[18:41] Aryte Vesperia: Dismissed. Have a great night and a good weekend!

[18:41] Aryte Vesperia snaps his fist to his chest, presenting a brief salute.
