  1. I am suddenly ashamed at myself for knowing about the stuff they're going on about ;-;
  2. Going to be getting the game as soon as the money moves from my paypal to my bank account and the game opens up for purchase again :D
  3. So after playing this at my friends house, I have decided, I wants it ;-; Time to sell.that spare kidney
  4. You know Rein, Europe getting CDs dosen't always mean the UK gets them. It's quite common for mainland Europe to get releases a day or two, up to a week before the UK :<
  5. Problem is they go much further from Ezio's period and you start encountering more firearms less swords, doing more then single shot flintlocks in the AC engine would appear to me atleast, to be hard.
  6. Yeah, Revelations almost feels like a filler game.
  7. Well, even still, the Desmond missions were a nice add on but I missed the real world bits. The map was exponentially smaller too, plus they got rid of horses and the like.
  8. Good game, shorter and smaller then the others though.
  9. Wow, that's one way to break the game, force a re download of a 13 GB file, not like that's a large size or anything.
  10. I'm not gonna state my posistion on said conventions/protocols and the application of weapons prohibited under them, but I can fast see this thread de-railing onto a conversation we really shouldn't be having. Lets try to avoid it shall we.
  11. Only the Theives guild? I'm a Legate in the Imperial Legion and I command the Companions <:D
  12. Yeah, it's a british slang term. They do use it a retarded amount of times in that video.
  13. Modern weaponry and strike capacity is pretty effective when it comes to rapid, hard hitting strikes. Give me a squadron of B-1 or B-52 Bombers and I'll level a city in ten minutes. I'm not saying the plot's perfect, but then again what plot isn't? As for them advancing so quickly, the entirety of Europe was pre-occupied dealing the thousands of dead civilians from the gas attack. Bearing in mind the target of that attack was key C3 and Intelligence centres. The Russians had effectively blinded Europe, combine this with fast moving attacks by armoured and airborne attacks by Russian units stationed in Eastern European states (which in the MW cannon are once again part of Russia). Much like MW 2 with its retarded satellite module being the Achilles heel of the US early warning network, the plots not full proof, but neither is it completely implausible. This is a fiction shooter, not a military simulator. Certain things are done for dramatic effect, which don't really make too much military sense on the face of things.
  14. They're assaulting across the Hamburg river, and I don't know whats up with your cousin because it was pretty obvious to me how to advance up the beach lol. The forces in Hamburg are only their so quick as they are sent to rescue the US VP. It's essentially the spear tip force consisting of Rangers and US Delta.
  15. God damn it... food for a week or Skyrim.... THE CHOICE D:
  16. I couldn't find anything about it in the Geneva Conventions proper, however, if it's anywhere it will be in Protocol I which has some 102 articles which I will read through when I have the time.
  17. I'd hardly consider myself old or frail :P
  18. Having just finished the single player campaign on 360 after 8 odd hours, I'm pretty happy with it. MW3 won't stand up to BF3 when it comes to multi-player and game engine quality, but it's single player, I found was a 100 times better. If you want a good first person shooter to occupy yourself with for a while, the single player campaign and subsequent special ops missions will quite easily do that. Whilst I wont deny that there were moments where I paused for a second, looked at the game and said "That looks rather familiar to MW2" in regards to the games environs, but even still, MW3 looks much better then MW2. Maybe it's not Battlefield 3 but honestly, it's a pretty fun single player game.
  19. ^ Completely right, also needs to set forum user name with last name >:[ <Could be argued is insane v Will put forward said argument
