  1. [06:03 PM] Aryte Vesperia shouts: Obligatory starter, as always: welcome to this week’s meeting. Per the norm, please be certain to hold all questions and comments until provided the opportunity to speak. Interruptions will result in dismissal from the gathering. When you are provided the chance to speak, be sure to /shout/ your comments or questions—otherwise the recorder may not hear you. Thank you: let’s get to it. [06:04 PM] Aryte Vesperia: Statistics Members: 318 Cadets: 10 Applications New: 18 Accepted: 2 Denied: 8 Review: 10 Combat Defensive: 117 Offensive: 8 Allied Assist: 0 [06:05 PM] Aryte Vesperia: Diplomatic notes for this evening: functionally, seeing a continuance of status quo. No major changes in policy or standing across the community. There has been some increase in “out of the norm” raids, with groups that are relatively new to the grid. Overall, for the Ordo, we have seen some decline in our offensive activity as we adjust to defending the new region. [06:06 PM] Aryte Vesperia: That should be reversing with next week, as it would seem pretty apparent that combat here has become normal once more. It is great to see such a strong resurgence of visitors attempting to best us. [06:06 PM] Aryte Vesperia: Unit reports this evening? [06:07 PM] Nrom Normandy raises his hand for Astra. [06:07 PM] Aryte Vesperia: Mr. Normandy. [06:07 PM] Nrom Normandy: Palaestra: We had some more training this week. Thank you Fox for handling some of that. Trinity is on the prowl for you other instructors, though. Please remember your commitments. Either do one phase with a Palaestra trainee every week or you run a training event. If you wish to schedule the events, let me or an officer know and we can create notices to help people get to your event. Don't feel discouraged either if nobody shows up. Make sure all events get posted in the training forum. [06:07 PM] Nrom Normandy: Equipment: Tsume has the textured model of the new CBU weapon. I am hoping this will get done quickly so it can be distributed. No status on the SDB. Disembodied has completed work on the new drop ship model and textures. Ethan will be starting on the scripts for this new class of ship soon. Expect 2 - 3 different load outs for this vehicle to serve in various roles during combat. [06:08 PM] Nrom Normandy: Tactical Squadron: Activity improved for Reapers, but slowed down for Aquila. Some of you who are in Aquila may be moved over to the reserve roster for your inactivity. If you think it's you, then it probably is. Talk to your CO about it. Apostles has stepped up in activity and they have a meeting next Friday at 3:00pm SLT. I encourage all Apostle members to show up and make it a habit to do so. Let's get you guys running again the way you're meant to, and I'll be happy. [06:08 PM] Nrom Normandy: General meeting is scheduled for next Saturday at 3:00PM SLT. All Astra personnel are encouraged but not required to attend. This will be in the place of the Astra command meeting. I will have some things I wish to discuss, and then the floor will be open for personnel to ask questions, similar to how we handle general meetings for Ordo. I will send a final reminder on Friday evening as well, so please mark it on your calendar to attend if you're in Astra. [06:08 PM] Nrom Normandy: Lastly, this week I wish to recognize Ciel Eilde. Some of you may remember her from 4 or 5 months ago, some of you may not. She was a young member of Astra who showed up with a few goals, but unfortunately real life got in the way as it does for most of us. Despite that, she made the promise to return when it was feasible and she has. She has faced some difficulties in her return, but after speaking with her at length today, she is recharged and ready to go. Hopefully you will see her stepping into an instructor role soon and pushing Astra enlisted into training and practice events daily. She has a lot of energy, and it's definitely commendable. She won't let disappointing or discouraging events keep her down, and that is a lesson that all of us need to be reminded of at times. [06:09 PM] Nrom Normandy: This concludes the weekly Astra report. Ad maiorem Imperatoris gloriam. [06:09 PM] FireFox Breed rises hiw paw for Terra [06:10 PM] Aryte Vesperia: Thank you. [06:10 PM] Aryte Vesperia: Mr. Breed? [06:10 PM] Blaze Wiles: (Correction: Apostles meeting is Friday 4FEB11 1500hr SLT >.> not Saturday) [06:10 PM] FireFox Breed shouts: Krow Ames for Insidiae: We have several prospects now, and several projects in the early development phase. Insidiae's future is looking bright. Several people have approached, or been approached about their candidacy in A-III, and the attention is only growing! Several more meetings will be held to discuss future goals and current progress of the squad. We're still in an early phase of forming our squad identity and I expect several weeks or months of refinement before the squad truly has a solid purpose in the Ordo Imperialis. If you're interested in joining the squad during it's ground level construction, just IM Krow Ames for information! [06:10 PM] FireFox Breed shouts: Kastrenzo Benelli for Invictus: Active week for Invictus, Personnel participated in a Co-operative training with B-I members on Wednsday. and Invictus personnel participated in many offensive operations with other Squads. Since no signifigant "Alpha Squad Raid" was held this week, looking to get one or two in very soon. Keller informed us that the Bayonet variant of the MCR is completed, only the grenade launcher variant remains. So look to see that soon. Kastrenzo Benelli is acting as CO until midway next week due to a busy Schedule for Eriksson in real life. We would also like to remind the public that there is currentley 1 vacant slot in Invictus, anyone interested in applying for membership please speak to Eriksson Foxtrot or Kastrenzo Benelli. This concludes the Invictus report for this week. [06:10 PM] FireFox Breed shouts: Teron Gray for Antesignani: Appologies that this'll be brief. Antesignani had low activity this week, sim being closed during the change might've influenced; as the squad has been getting familiar with the new build along with the rest of Ordo. And we do have openings in the unit again, so those who are interested in A-II should contact me. [06:10 PM] FireFox Breed shouts: Tsukiyomi Yuhara for Victrix: Interesting week with the new sim build bringing everything to a halt. Victrix members took part in many trainings, doing an excellent job on that front. I took time this week to get Mark situated as XO of Victrix. All in all an amazing week for Victrix, quite proud of how active my squad has been. Training on 26JAN2011 went extremely well, I was thuroughly suprised having finally felt the combat ability of my squad in full effect. I am very pleased with how this week has ended and I look forward to more exciting weeks as such. [06:11 PM] FireFox Breed shouts: Steeltael Lykin for Rapax: Another great week for Rapax. A Meeting was held. Introductions made. Lots of PRF's & a new squad project to develop a new logo is in the works and many people are getting involved in the team effort. [06:11 PM] FireFox Breed shouts: Williamca Zenovka for Liberatrix: Squad activity down again, held a meeting not to long ago. Plan on holding a training soon when time permits preferably after I get rid of this infection I have. Also working with Kalas to try and get him to hold one to insure a training happens one way or another. Aside from that not much has happened. With the new group limit, might look into making my own B-3 squad group with permission from the Imperator of course. Since it raises the limit by 15. It would allow easier communication, finding people online, tracking activity, and getting items out to the squad as needed for reports / whatnot. [06:13 PM] FireFox Breed: As for Terra command. I would like to welcome all the new members who have joined in the last month or so. I know there is alot of new faces around here (so many friend invites!). Always remember you can IM me about anything. The responc etime might be slow at times but I will help you out or point you in the right direction. [06:13 PM] FireFox Breed shouts: As for Terra command. I would like to welcome all the new members who have joined in the last month or so. I know there is alot of new faces around here (so many friend invites!). Always remember you can IM me about anything. The responc etime might be slow at times but I will help you out or point you in the right direction. [06:13 PM] FireFox Breed shouts: That is all. [06:15 PM] Aryte Vesperia: Thank you. Any additional reports this evening? [06:15 PM] Zero Itamae raises his hand for the IEA. [06:15 PM] Aryte Vesperia: Mr. Itamae? [06:16 PM] Zero Itamae shouts: Fairly quiet week, activity slowly picking up with the adjustment to the new build. The last Ludi spot has been given to Zacharias Bardasch, so now our efforts to create some new academies will be stepped up as we work out some new ideas. Got plenty of instructor applicants to go through as well, with plenty of slots to fill. So if you've posted in the recruitment thread, expect to get a response tonight or tomorrow! That's all for the IEA report this week. [06:16 PM] Corsi Mousehold raises his hand [06:17 PM] Aryte Vesperia: Thank you. Mr. Mousehold? [06:17 PM] Corsi Mousehold shouts: BIG week this week. Starting things off, Big Head Squad has left The International Union nad been lowered back down to an E-8 Target. Word has it they will be rebuilding soon so Raid leaders please go and beat them up for a while. New group has hit the grid, Catalyst in the sim Aethyr but they are still building so .... Waiting on them. SturmKorps is in one full month of building as usual we hope they open sometime this year. Also two groups closed this week. Acheron Industries went out without a word and Worlds Aetheist Warriors disbanded. Sending extra credit to Exterminatus Footman whom has been working his butt off this week and provided reports for Grim, Atrius, Kratus as well as what we can get from Catalyst for the moment. Also With the new sim up and running, The Merczateers report and briefing rules are up and in the folder. Please read them as normally allied assisting is a fast deployment and delay in the briefing isn't ... Tactical. [06:18 PM] Corsi Mousehold shouts: As a note to raid leaders and commanders in general. The Tactica board isn't there to look pretty. It's there to help and support you the soldier and raid leaders. Rather than searching through pages and pages of rules we have a short briefing in there for you to get up and out the door quickly. Our reports are in the forums open and viewable by anyone in the Ordo that wants to read them. We want you to take advantage of the work we are doing to contribute if you like. If you have any questions about Tactica you can just come and ask me at any time or if I am asleep or dead just poke Huttser or Kyra. Oh and a final thank you to Aryte Vesperia for cursing Tactica once again since we had a full Roster earlier this week and as he predicted, someone left just before the meeting. We have one slot open. [06:18 PM] Corsi Mousehold: That is all from Tactica. -.- [06:19 PM] Aryte Vesperia: Thank you. :] any additional reports? [06:20 PM] Aryte Vesperia: Very good. [06:20 PM] Aryte Vesperia: Moving right along. [06:20 PM] Aryte Vesperia: > Cohors B / Flight groups? [06:20 PM] Aryte Vesperia: With the expansion of the LL group list to 42, the question has been raised: would it be worthwhile to create Cohors B / Flight groups? Currently, we do utilize individual unit groups for Cohors A and the Apostles—would the same be beneficial to Cohors B / all flights? [06:21 PM] Steeltael Lykin raises paw [06:21 PM] Aryte Vesperia: I would quite like your input. Shall we create additional groups, presumably to facilitate Cohors and flight communication? Or would that simply be too many groups to expect the general member to join? [06:21 PM] Typhon Perun raises a paw [06:22 PM] Aryte Vesperia: Speak freely. Four minutes! [06:22 PM] Nrom Normandy: yes want [06:22 PM] Nikki4 Aquitaine: I think it's a great idea [06:22 PM] Hunter Abrams raises a hand [06:22 PM] Ciel Eilde: I find that such an idea would be great for recognition purposes, personally. I'm for it. [06:22 PM] Steeltael Lykin: This would be greatly beneficial for group communication and administration of flights and squads. making a CO's job easier, therefore more efficient in the long run. [06:22 PM] Arokh Takakura: Sounds like straightforward to me. [06:22 PM] Disembodied Hand: The only issue I forsee would be with the regular additions and loss of members [06:22 PM] Disembodied Hand: but otherwise, sounds like a great idea [06:23 PM] Corsi Mousehold: At the point of making new groups you are having a new recruit open up four groups at minimum. Most of the time it would be five plus a sixth to go raiding. [06:23 PM] Morh Giffen: being able to call a group Ordo Imperialis - Rapax would beat having to got he inofficial group route with sort-of but not quite the right name (e.g. Ordo Urchins) [06:24 PM] Typhon Perun: While I think it is a good idea, I would rather see for say Cohors B, a central main group for them rather then individual ones, to help encourage a sense of team work. Yes other section of Ordo do have more specialized groups and I can see and commend the idea of wanting indivualr groups, but the ones that currently have it are a bit more specilized then the norm. Choros B and general flight groups are not as specilized to it might not be necessary. [06:24 PM] Aryte Vesperia: My only problem with it is .. I'd have to deal with more notice spam, lmao. [06:24 PM] Aryte Vesperia: Goddamn Cohors A, Insidiae and Invictus especially, doesn't shut up. [06:24 PM] Steeltael Lykin: The management potential, along with the ease of identifying online members, last logins. and the such without pouring through the primary group is also very useful. As wel as sending both group notices. and attachments such as schedules. Instead of sending 1 notecard 15 times to different people. its 1 notecard once in a notice to all of them [06:24 PM] Corsi Mousehold: Recruits already end up in Main, Terra/Astra, Armatura, and Faces. Adding the Century as another group just adds in more to that. Then you have the issue of Adjutants needing to have more and more groups just to keep up with what is going on in their Cohors. [06:25 PM] Mercury: New contact: Bizcut Vanbrugh [06:25 PM] Aryte Vesperia: I'll drop a vote on the forums about it, hm. [06:25 PM] Aryte Vesperia: So folks can lay it out on there. [06:25 PM] Aryte Vesperia: It is important to note, the average Ordo member has the following group obligations: [06:26 PM] Typhon Perun: I have to agree, from what I see from a management perspective, our curent resources, like the terra notifications and such are not being utilized which I see as part of the concern. [06:26 PM] Aryte Vesperia: Ordo, division, Faces, Armatura. [06:26 PM] Aryte Vesperia: Armatura goes away after graduation. [06:26 PM] Disembodied Hand: I dont think its too much to ask, they have 42 to work with [06:26 PM] Disembodied Hand: whats 5 [06:26 PM] Disembodied Hand: do you really need that many hair updates and dance club updates? [06:27 PM] Disembodied Hand: :p group your part of is what I was talking about. [06:27 PM] Aryte Vesperia: That's true, Dis. [06:27 PM] Morh Giffen: most of the training sessions in Cohors B happen unit wide, rather than cohors wide. Cohors A does make use of this, the more active groups in B would, too, I'm sure [06:27 PM] Bracket Crowley: speaking as amember of Cohors B-2, it'd bea lit easier to talk to my fellow members in a group chat, and coordinate training and such. >.> [06:27 PM] Aryte Vesperia nods. [06:27 PM] Aryte Vesperia: I shall put a vote up on it. :] [06:28 PM] Aryte Vesperia: Moving ooon. [06:28 PM] Aryte Vesperia: > Armament update. [06:28 PM] Gen Scientist: Sexy. [06:28 PM] Aryte Vesperia: Sorry Ron, rofl. [06:28 PM] Aryte Vesperia: As of several hours ago, the completed dropship replacement model was handed to me by Disembodied Hand. It is behind me and available for your viewing pleasure. [06:29 PM] Bracket Crowley: Make dis rebui- o hai dis :x [06:29 PM] Aryte Vesperia: The dropship has received the official class name of “Interdictor.” Two variants will exist: the Exodus, and the Liberator. The Liberator is what you see behind me; the Exodus will be a heavier armed variant, which shall substitute transport capacity for firepower. [06:29 PM] Aryte Vesperia: Very good work, Disembodied. [06:30 PM] Aryte Vesperia: The Tyrant, our new tank, is now in beta stages of scripting. Performance in comparison to the Ira is much higher: both mobility and firepower have been increased significantly. The capability to carry a secondary gunner has also been maintained. [06:30 PM] Krow Ames: Ffffuck I want one. [06:30 PM] Tsume Xiao claps [06:30 PM] Aryte Vesperia: With the new sim build, the existing goto:location ability within our HUD is outmoded. Temporarily, Nikki has included an alternative within the armory. We are now exploring the creation of a new HUD—it seems to be a good time to do so, as some features of our current HUD are fairly unused as is. It will provide an opportunity to adjust and add more effective abilities for every soldier, while decreasing gear redundancy. [06:30 PM] Mercury: New contact: Teron Gray [06:30 PM] Tsume Xiao was clapping at the dropship, for the record. [06:31 PM] Aryte Vesperia: Now that the dropship is completed, work is scheduled to begin on the power armor unit. I know the big question remains: who will be able to unlock it? At this time, it is probable that it will be a universal unlock, permitting all units and divisions to achieve it. [06:31 PM] Nikki4 Aquitaine: (:D!) [06:31 PM] Krow Ames: o/ [06:32 PM] Aryte Vesperia: With the increased interest in these select items—the tank and power armor—the availability and stream-lining of our training procedures is apparent. As such, we will be modifying the way that an individual qualifies for a tank (and the future power armor). Rather than having semi-routine, first-come-first-serve courses, it will be on demand based on unlock. In short, an individual will be able to unlock a Tyrant (or power armor) based on QP, however they will be automatically enrolled into a training course to qualify. Failure to qualify would result in a refund and a pat on the back. [06:32 PM] Mercury: Lost contact: Scarlet Flaks [06:33 PM] Aryte Vesperia: A requisition has been placed to start the process of replacing our existing armory items. In cooperation with the including of the new Caseless line, the Subjugator has been put first up on the block for destruction / recreation. A model is underway and is loosely expected by the 15th. The style will fit the same “heavy” chaingun ideal, but fall far more along the lines of our high quality of model expectation. The Adjudicator is also finding itself on the list for replacement in the near future. [06:34 PM] Aryte Vesperia: Questions thus far? Kill it! D: AGH SHE'S IN THE BASE ALREADY [06:34 PM] Maverick Garfield raises his hand [06:34 PM] Krow Ames: \o [06:34 PM] Aryte Vesperia: Mr. Garfield? [06:35 PM] Maverick Garfield: This goes back to the new hud would it be possible too get one that would work with the packs? [06:35 PM] Tsume Xiao raises hand [06:35 PM] Aryte Vesperia: That is a possibility, I would imagine. [06:35 PM] Aryte Vesperia: Mr. Ames? [06:35 PM] Krow Ames: With the powered armor, will there ever be a possibility for alpha unit mods or modular equipment addons? [06:36 PM] Aryte Vesperia: If you beg nicely. [06:36 PM] Krow Ames: :D [06:36 PM] Aryte Vesperia: Mr. Xiao? [06:36 PM] Tsume Xiao: Will the unlockability of the Tyrant still carry the E-4 rank requirement as well as the QP requirement so people cant get it, and then training time comes, they are under-rank, and lose it? [06:36 PM] Kaska Czarny raises a hand. [06:36 PM] Aryte Vesperia: Run that by me again in normal language? [06:36 PM] Huttser Ishelwood raises hand [06:37 PM] Aryte Vesperia: Rank may not be necessary -- but current technology permits us to restrict unlocks with rank and QP. [06:37 PM] Aryte Vesperia: Ms. Czarny? [06:38 PM] Kaska Czarny: Sir, I just began work on a vehicle I hope to contribute for scripting and issue. My concern is that it's old, nineteen forties. Is that too out of theme for us sir? [06:39 PM] Aryte Vesperia: Possibly. It'd really depend on the build and so forth. As a side note, keep in mind anything not properly requisitioned through Munitorum has no guarantee of being utilized. You're building at your own risk. [06:39 PM] Kaska Czarny: Understood sir. [06:40 PM] Aryte Vesperia: Mr. Ishelwood? [06:41 PM] Huttser Ishelwood: With regards to the tank and it's main gun. Somthing I've been curious as to, will the main projectile have a drop on it or since it's suppose to be a rail cannon, will there be no deviation? [06:41 PM] Aryte Vesperia: You have options. :] [06:41 PM] Tsume Xiao: Yes [06:41 PM] Huttser Ishelwood: Alright, thanks. [06:41 PM] Aryte Vesperia: Moving on. [06:42 PM] Aryte Vesperia: > Honor titles. [06:42 PM] Aryte Vesperia: For some months now, the existence of “honor titles” has been in place, however, due to limitation in group space . . . never really employed. As with the B unit / flight group topic: we’ve now got the ability to explore this, thanks to Linden Labs doing something useful for once. [06:43 PM] Aryte Vesperia: Titles are alike merit: special designation and award for outstanding feats in the name of the Ordo. Titles carry with them some specific additional prestige, such as access to the “elite” all white dress uniform. Furthermore, when time permits, other items will be drafted for specific titles. A full listing of the available prestige titles is available under the “Special Rank Provision” topic in the “Policy” section of the forum. [06:44 PM] Aryte Vesperia: As a side note, a large draft of all of the individuals qualifying for “Vir Egregius” is being worked on. Due to the size, it will not be until next weekend that the list is available. [06:45 PM] Aryte Vesperia: Ron Bleac: Warlord. Mr. Bleac has, to put it lightly, orchestrated some of the most profoundly effective campaigns over the course of the last year. Under his strategic leadership, Ordo forces have excelled across multiple battlefields. Most recently, OFK and Balaclava demonstrated the ever present and ever domineering capability of our combined forces. [06:46 PM] Aryte Vesperia: Acheron Gloom: Master of Honors. At nearly seven months of membership, Mr. Gloom’s presence and activity within the group began at day one. Spare none; he has been involved in all angles of development and participation: something all too evident in his ability to rapidly accrue the points to qualify for designation as MoE. [06:46 PM] Aryte Vesperia: Corsi Mousehold: Master of Honors. A title owed to Mr. Mousehold for some time now—rivaled by few in their commitment to participation and the participation of others, he has excelled and accrued an impressive stockpile of quality points over their career. [06:47 PM] Aryte Vesperia: Heather McKay: Inquisitor. With a long history in Curia and an even longer history in being involved in administrative problem solving, Ms. McKay has been integral to the structural integrity of the Ordo. Without her prowess and commitment to justice, we would truly be a lesser organization. [06:47 PM] Aryte Vesperia: Aelus Janus: Inquisitor. A name many of you may be unfamiliar with; he is a cornerstone of this organization. Nearly a year ago now, Mr. Janus relinquished command of the the AiR in order to focus on school. Prior to that, however, he led the Frumentarii: an organization with notoriety among our enemies rivaled by few. Under his leadership, the Ordo maintained a powerful intelligence presence, warding off countless attempts at doing us harm. [06:48 PM] Aryte Vesperia: Intus Infinity: Inquisitor. Now a Praetorian, Mr. Infinity too was involved in the Frumentarii and the AiR. His leadership was integral to carving out the organizations, establishing a strong foothold for our SIGINT capabilities. Without his assistance, the Ordo’s technological edge in detecting and monitoring threats would be non-existent. [06:50 PM] Aryte Vesperia: Trinity Heckroth: Inquisitor. By practice, the secondary of AiR. Her focus on internal security and counter-intelligence has provided a real sense of security that has empowered our ability to maintain a civil, open atmosphere. [06:50 PM] Aryte Vesperia: Tiridates Mikadez: Inquisitor. The current head of the AiR. Without a doubt: one of my most trusted advisors. Although we do not always see eye to eye and have had our differences, his involvement in the Ordo’s security has been top notch, bar none. One of the greatest minds this group has had the pleasure of hosting. [06:51 PM] Aryte Vesperia: Zero Itamae: Imperial Historian. For . . . a period of time I can’t even begin to hope to remember, Mr. Itamae has been involved in the educational process of the Ordo. From the time he was able to instruct as an [E-3], his focus has been upon teaching the next generation. Now an [O-4], it is by his leadership and guidance that the IEA has turned into a world class program. [06:53 PM] Aryte Vesperia: There are . . a lot of these to catch up on. This is the extent I had the time to dig up on for this week. Expect more as time allows! [06:53 PM] Aryte Vesperia: Promotions are posted. [06:53 PM] Aryte Vesperia: ) [06:53 PM] Ron Bleac raises hand. "Open floor?" [06:53 PM] Aryte Vesperia: (fuck you Huttser [06:53 PM] Aryte Vesperia: Before we adjourn, Mr. Bleac has a message. [06:54 PM] Huttser Ishelwood: Thanks.... gee [06:54 PM] Ron Bleac shouts: I hope you've all had enough of being lazy and getting accustomed to our new simbuild! [06:54 PM] Ron Bleac shouts: Because by God, we're going again! [06:54 PM] Ron Bleac shouts: Operation DRESDEN commences this week! With it, a new generation of raid leadership and a dedicated team of RAID OFFICERS with WRITTEN ORDERS will be announced. [06:55 PM] Ron Bleac shouts: It will be an Astra focused, but Terra heavy operation against any and all available hostile targets. We will attack.. pretty much everyone! And as the name suggests, bomb the living crap out of them. Turn their SIMs into a sea of fire. [06:56 PM] Ron Bleac shouts: All operational details will be posted on secure forums for our officers to read, who will then brief NCOs shortly before actual combat operations begin. Expect to see some large scale rehearsals before the operation. [06:56 PM] Ron Bleac shouts: Yeah we'll probably get banned but whatever. [06:57 PM] Ron Bleac shouts: As I said, operational details SOON to follow. (As I think them up.) [06:57 PM] Ron Bleac shouts: That is all! [06:57 PM] Aryte Vesperia: Hahah. [06:57 PM] Aryte Vesperia shouts: That said, we shall go ahead and break. Let's get some raids out! Dismissed. Good meeting.
