I disagree with this for one simple reason.

There is no mention of his contribution to the groups assets in a similar was from his scripting skills.

His Caseless Weapon Series and other projects I have seen him work on have helped bolster the armory with guns that not only look worlds better than the energy weapon series they replaced, but also perform better in both reliability and efficiency.
