Additional gear or "niche" associations are to be secondary, and considered privileges: they may be revoked at any time and should not distinctively define a units cohesion, conduct, or combat excellence. Units are to be differentiated by performance only. All Cohors Alpha members must have a documented Oath of Entrance, which must be submitted via COU statement on the database. All Cohors Alpha units are to be held to the highest of standards: including, but not limited to strict observance to group protocol, respect of other members, and respect of themselves. Cohors Alpha units are to be nothing less than part of the Ordo's premier ground forces: aggressive, available, and prepared at all times to deploy or defend. Cohors Alpha members must abide by the understanding that defeat is not an option; there is no retreat or half-victory for Cohors Alpha.
