Kellervo Posted August 9, 2011 Share Posted August 9, 2011 Aye, $2 million isn't a whole lot. Considering the paygrade that might keep their studio open for a year if they're only 4 or 5 guys. Voxel rendering is also what ZBrush and Mudbox use, or at least variations of it, hence how they're able to render millions of polygons at once without a skipped frame (whereas Maya and other programs will start to chug and burn out well before they hit the hundred-million area).
