Aryte
✠ Diplomacy- no major changes for this week; relative calm from holiday.- limited interactions have occurred.- looking forward to seeing how things play out with the onset of winter holiday.✠ Community- Lurdan Huszar released a major notecard on OPFOR regarding the community.- Encouraged to read it-- worth getting his perspective.- Interesting, but misses some key points . .- Community has no consensus: that's the biggest problem.- Consensus impossible-- we've tried dozens of times.- The hope that everyone will just get along and respect will prevail . . . yeah, unlikely.✠ Planetside- Released this week!- Off to an incredibly good start.- Keep the momentum up!- Activity will no doubt level back out (for SL players) once the "newness" wears off.- Goal is to achieve a strong force on both fronts-- looks like this will be possible.✠ Leadership on Planetside- We are taking a fairly open role to recruitment currently, but a sense of order is needed.- We are working out the kinks still, but as a general rule of thumb: maintain order, but don't be overbearing.- As things level out, we'll run "free for all" and "professional" styled squads.- At the moment-- we just need to focus on getting people in. We can sort it from there.- Bear with us: some of the randoms we invite may be loud. We'll weed them out. Be respectful until they're dealt with!- Think of it as a trial -- we can't expect to have new PS2 players do applications until Ordo is viewed as premier on PS2. As such, they are essentially interviewing for membership by playing with us.✠ Post Meeting Activities- Hydra hosting training after meeting.- PS2 antics to continue thereafter -- I will be around on PS2 after I exercise.
