Xoza
Oh man, I played CoH a lot back then, I remember when PB's came out, was probably one of the first few to 50 on my server as a group of us grinded it out. PvP was epic back then as well, stalkers couldn't touch me, had a hard time killing them mind you, but I was the distraction while the blasters sniped em after they attacked me XD. Xoza
http://na.cityofhero...ts_august_9.php Yes, City of Heroes is going free to play here pretty quickly. Those whom have played in the past are "VIP's" and will be able to play again starting this Evening (if I read this right). Few of us already play, let me know if you intend to as well. EDIT: Sorry, the VIP Beta starts, but the whole thing is coming up pretty quick... http://na.cityofheroes.com/en/news/news_archive/announcing_the_declaration_of_freedom_sale.phpThere are 3 account types, Free, VIP and Paid, this should at least get you VIP status (I believe) you can read more about that herehttp://na.cityofheroes.com/en/news/freedom/freedom_overview.php Edited August 18, 2011 by Xoza Tyron
Xoza
City of Heroes is not yet fully F2P (aka new free accounts can't be created yet). But all already active/purchased accounts have been converted into "premium player" accounts and most of them have been reactivated so far this weekend. :D. A few of us already play on occasion and have started a Supergroup for Ordo on the Freedom Server, let me know if you want in.edit 27SEP11: City of Heroes is Free to Play for all current and new accounts now :Dhttp://forums.ordoimperialis.com/index.php?/topic/13717-city-of-heroes-freedom/ Edited October 24, 2012 by Xoza Tyron
Xoza
City of Heroes is shutting down November 30th, fff NCSoft.. there are major movments already to get the game aquired by another company, but some of us know it likely won't happen, because NCSoft doesn't have that history.
