Phillip Hultcrantz
I know you have it narrowed down to those two cards... but honestly, your better off saving a crap load of money and getting an ATI 4850. It's only slightly slower than the GTX 280 and it's a hell of a lot cheaper. but between your two, if your PSU can take it, go for the 9800 GX2. Cyphre Iredell
Sadly Sera has since appended her post that hereby disregards all ATI suggestions. If you wish to provide something constructive, please do so within the context of the original post; being an nVidia card suggestion.Money also didn't appear to be an issue, so 'bang for your buck' is fairly worthless. Venes Dagger
I would avoid ATI unless you can prove it can handle secondlife. My desktop has one. I had to comb their website to find an up-to-date driver just to open the client, and it's still laggy as all get out.
