  1. :D They did a pretty good job with CoP, so I'm interested to see what the can do with the material.
  2. I am starting a series of short essays I've written or will be writing, to cover some of the philosophy behind the Ordo Imperialis. I undertook this project after a brief discussion with the Imperator. With all our new members, this will provide a better idea of the rationale behind how this organization operates and thinks, at least in an ideal manner. To older members, it can reinforce and perhaps hopefully provide voice and insight to the things we see and wish to express about the Ordo Imperialis. I welcome any and all comments or discussion regarding the essays or even suggestions for future topics I can cover in an essay for us to read. The first three are closely tied, being on the subjects of Leadership, Service, and Duty (all of which are very central tenets of our organization). For those of you who may be new to the Ordo Imperialis, a brief introduction is in order. I am the commander of the Praetorian Guard, the Ordo's elite combat unit and also the Imperator's personal bodyguards and heralds. This also means I serve as the titular second in command of the Ordo Imperialis. I've been a member of the Ordo Imperialis for something like 5 years now, though I've honestly lost count of the exact number of months it's been. You will primarily see me on Titan on my days off from work, though with wrapping up a recent move, you might see me around more frequently (much to my relief). I'm always glad to assist Ordo members with concerns or questions (so that you may not have to bother the extremely busy Imperator, Lord Vesperia).
  3. That's utter bullshit. It seems like their avoidance is quite literally a lawsuit waiting to happen.
  4. Congratulations! Keep up the hard work.
  5. The most amusing fact about the above post? Both men involved are pretty gay. Like rainbow sparkle gay.
  6. I think there is survey bias in the questions :( Where's my AN and Chaos options!?
  7. I was late to tonight's meeting, sooo...rescheduled it for tomorrow. At 6:00. Hopefully, it not being magic election night and a touch earlier, we can all make it. :D
  8. No worries. They'll be fine, I'm sure... Test one: out running a volcanic eruption! Burn little ones, burn!
  9. Official Announcement: End of Selection and the Beginning of the Trials. To the esteemed personnel of the Ordo Imperialis, I am pleased to announce that the current selection cycle is over and the participating candidates have been identified. The participating candidates will report for their first session this Tuesday. Please send me a PM with your schedules for the next month, stating days and times you can generally participate. You must contact me by Monday, 6:00 PM, Pacific Standard Time (PST/SLT) with your general scheduling information or be excluded from ultimate participation. Please congratulate: - Awanken Wasp - Dascede Aluveaux - Teron Gray - Rigonet Aeghin Please be sure to inform your commanding officer of your selection ASAP and direct them to me if they have any questions. This year's pre-trial selection was difficult, due to a narrow field of applicable candidates and the desire to keep the trials much smaller and more manageable to permit a more personalized approach to developing potential Praetorians. As a result, only four individuals were selected to participate at this time. This smaller sized grouping lets the Guard to test a wider range of new techniques in training, testing, and development without having to manage a larger pool of applicants. It also means a much stricter examination of individual qualification will applied to each individual involved. Pending the success of this new approach, further trials may be held on a more regular, bi-annual or even quarterly basis, depending on the personnel needs of the Praetorian Guard. I would like to thank everyone who participated and submitted applications this year as well as those who were singled out for hand-picked participation. It was a difficult choice to have only four selected, but it was ultimately decided this would make the most effective test group. Once again, all questions should be directed to myself rather than the Imperator (ideally through forum PMs), regarding the Praetorian Guard selection process or participation in said process. Thank you, Agares Tretiak Lord Praefectus of the Praetorian Guard
  10. Don't be disheartened, Tandem. IT IS A NEW TRADITION.
  11. THREAD NECROMANCY IS PUNISHABLE BY DEATH. SUMMARY EXECUTION WILL BE CARRIED OUT EFFECTIVE IMMEDIATELY. HERESY WILL NOT BE TOLERATED. >:(
  12. NO AFEVIS. GOOD WORK. OUR STRICT, LITERAL MINDSET MUST NOT BE QUESTIONED.
  13. That became a rambling mess, deprived of meaning, content, or structure. What ever merit your position may once have held has been far outstripped by your hubris, Mr. Svendsen. I wonder if you'll see the lesson in that...
  14. And I'll be honest, WarZ holds no interest for me, at all.
