Man, the dilemma is finding something I would both play and don't own.

Rudy are you asking for Saints Row 3 or 4?
If you're asking for SR3, I guess I will get SR4 game of the century, I'll probably actually play the DLC since I beat the main game on a free weekend.
If you're asking for SR4 then I'll have to think about what else I could get. Wait was the Steins;Gate VN actually one of the choices? I'd totally eat a pervert's banana.

Alright so I thought I would wait until we actually got this close to post it. I didn't see much interest in the other plan I had so here is what I have going on. So I want to see what you all are going to be this Halloween. What have you, our members, made yourselves up to be? Now with all good things there are rules. I will list them of course!

Now if you do not want to show a RL Costume note that a costume of a character in a game you play. I know there are MANY options in The Old Republic and their might be in other games as well. So lets see what you got for me.

    Rules!!!

semi-sorta necro'in here, but I agree wholeheartedly Tsume!

The group is observably different from how it was years ago. In a lot of ways, that sucks for me cause I did enjoy the flow of the organization on SL, and the tight-knit sense of community that a platform like SL gave people to create and work together. Ranking up and such was definitely a lot harder, and even thinking about completing an OCA still gives me a headache to this day.   Ultimately I think the Ordo's departure from SL wasn't something that could be controlled. Decisions by LL and the overall direction of the community were factors that I think Ordo couldn't had influenced or changed, no matter how big, successful, or influential it was.

The fact that Ordo is observably different now isn't a bad thing though, and I agree with you on that too. Yeah, things are more lax, you don't know everyone quite-so well, but that's not bad. It's still a great community that serves an awesome purpose. Ordo has always done well at maintaining a goal for itself and setting high standards for professionalism in it's operation, while still being a lot of fun and rewarding to be a part of. I'm glad to have seen the community evolve and continue to grow and succeed. My only regret is I wish I was around more, or could get into it again. Buuuut, that's my own problem.

So a few RL buddies of mine mentioned this game a couple days ago, and I decided to give it a try.

It's your usual Dungeon-Crawler layout, with a multi-act storyline that's actually pretty good for a F2P game. The graphics are really well-done, the combat feels fluid and not very clunky, and everything feels essentially like a VERY polished and refined Diablo II. Not only that, but there's no separate servers either. The fighting areas and such are all instanced, but it's completely open when you get into town.

But the thing that REALLY got me going was this: (Edit: And even then that's only half of the screen. >_>)

THIS is a skill tree for a single class. The base classes they give you (Templar, Marauder, Ranger, Duelist, Witch, and then Siren and Shadow later on in development) are essentially just base concepts. You pick a class and they go "Okay, this is typically the stats that this character runs. Do whatever you want past that."

It's detailed to the point of being frightening. The game itself is developed almost entirely from community feedback, and so-far after leveling a Templar to almost 20, I can say this game has officially sparked my interest.

The Top 10 Lessons I Learned From Charlie Brown

    1. It’s okay to be afraid... just don’t let your fears control you.

Charlie Brown often sat in bed and spoke of his fears, but no matter how scared he was, he always did the things he wanted to do.

    2. Persistence wins out.

Charlie Brown often lost, failed at much, but he never gave up. Even though he knew Lucy was going to pull the football away before he could kick it.... Even though he knew the tree was going to eat his kite... Even though he knew his team would lose the ball game… he kept on trying.

    3. It’s what you think of yourself that counts.

Linus carried a security blanket for years and his friends laughed at him. They also laughed at him because he believed in the Great Pumpkin. Pigpen was a walking cloud of dust and dirt and was often regarded unkindly. Both characters, however, were always proud of themselves and believed they were as good as anybody else – and they were right.

    4. Sometimes you need to talk.

One thing the “Peanuts” gang understood was the importance of talking things out. Whether leaning up against Schroeder’s piano or atop the brick wall, they always discussed what was of concern to them.

    5. Sometimes you need to listen.

Even crabby, self-indulged Lucy knew the importance of listening. She started the famous psychiatry booth where any and all could come and be heard.

    6. Do what you love to do.

Through all their adventures, Schroeder remained constant in his appreciation of Beethoven and his love of playing the piano. He loved to play piano and that’s what he did, regardless of the circumstances. Charlie Brown flew his kite, played baseball and football, not just to win (he knew he wouldn’t), but because he loved to do those things.

    7. It’s important to have friends that care.

The Peanuts gang was made up of individual characters, each with their own foibles and talents, but through it all, they were always there for each other.

    8. Big dreams lead to big things.

Snoopy was the biggest dreamer of them all, but his wild imagination often led to even wilder, more fantastic adventures in real life. Snoopy knew that you must have a big dream if you are going to lead a big life.

    9. Action creates reality.

As Charlie Brown was reminded time and again after prodding from Linus, it takes action to bring about change. Though he often failed, Chuck took action quite regularly – and every now and again, things would go his way.

    10. Laugh every day!

While the kids themselves may not have seen the humor in the things they did, Schulz made sure that we did. Life is only as serious or as humorous as YOU make it. Lighten up. Go play softball. Fly a kite. Dance with your dog. Smile... it makes people wonder what you’re up to.

Entry 5: Time rewards, but takes it's toll

This session started slow. I decided to engrave the rest of the bedrooms and start a second barracks for some archers. Nothing happened for a couple minutes, and that migrant wave I was scared of was small, so no big deal.

Finally got my smelters and forges built, so we are ready to start the smelting! I realized it took way longer than it should have for me to make those.

Right to the left of that main corridor, I dug a little room for stockpiling (not shown on the picture) things like Iron Bars, Pig Iron Bars, Steel Bars, Hematite, Charcoal, Marble (it's the only type of flux stone I have) and other little things. My dwarves have A LOT of hauling to do, specially because they need to bring that marble up from the tunnels down below.

Progress was made, but time takes it's toll.

First, one of our animals was found dead, I had no idea what did it, but I had my suspicions.

Right after that, a moment of pure sadness, a child's death. Remember that child that went melancholic? Depression made him not want to eat or drink, leading to his death.

Not a minute later, my suspicions were confirmed. A wild animal, a polar bear, was the one that killed my animal. He now attack a dwarf. It was grim, the corpse was mutilated. I shall not go into further detail. I prepared more room in the graveyard.

Nothing interesting happened for a couple minutes. Then Xoza demanded the production of bolts! You really love your bolts don't you Xoza?

I guess it's for the best. I need to prepare my archers, that's why I also ordered my dwarves to make some leather armor for them. Steel armor for the other dwarves on the military will come as soon as I get steel.

    More to come soon.

Entry 3: The Tides of Innovation

Deadmon was getting desperate. I had to do something. I wasn't going to lose another so quick so early. I decided do cancel all jobs my miners had and dug down. Found some silver ore. That was actually a surprise, but an amazing one at that. Preparing the iron would take too much time. But silver? A couple orders away. I quickly demanded that my dwarves built a Smelter, a normal one, not a magma one. I ordered the production of a couple pieces of charcoal. Now all I needed was that my dwarves got the silver ready. It took some time, but it was quick enough. Deadmon rushed and grabbed the silver bar and immediatly began his mysterious construction. He shouted constinously: "Ushul ìtdìm" and worked non-stop. After some time, Ushul ìtdìm was created: a groundhog bone cage.

In the mean time, we had a little surprise. Congratulations going to Valos, you are the proud parent of a new baby dwarf! I have no idea who the father is so... uhm... Good luck?

Oh, the joy, everything turned out fine right? Deadmon built us something great, Valos is the lastest mother on the fortress and Xoza has become the mayor... WAIT WHAT?
While I was distracted, this huge wave of migrants arrived. My population rose from 26 to 50. That upgraded the fort, and so a mayor was elected.

Now Xoza needs better quarters and a baroness arrived with that migration too, so one that's more nice bedroom that needs to be built. Because of this I decided to smooth and then engrave all the stone on my kitchen and bedrooms. I gave most of those useless migrants the ability to do so. Progress has begun. Also, XOZA YOU ARE ANNOYING. WHY CAN'T I EXPORT BOLTS?

Because we had such a big population increase, I had to set up a military squad, and because of that a barracks. Those are both being worked on. Xevrand is the proud leader of my first squad. Congratulations!
Also, because military dwarves require equipment, I decided to start my steel production early, it's also being worked on.

BY THE WAY. Dwarves get injured, so we need a hospital, which means we need a chief medical dwarf. Kavia, you're up. You have no skill and never touched an injured dwarf. You'll have to Diagnose, treat diseases, fix broken bones and try to save that one dwarf that will eventually come with his left leg missing and his chest cut open, the sword still stuck in it. GOOD LUCK!

Feel like I'm pumping these out too quick? Yap, I played a lot today. I'm going to try and not post them TOO frequently so I can MAYBE keep some interest in.

ALSO, I have a lot of free spots for names. I'd like sugestions please. Just throw names at me and I'll rename some dwarves. TY :)
