I found the issue; number seven on this forum thread. However, I'm running a ATI Radeon 1250 and I'm not so sure I should be downloading a NVIDIA PhysX System Software for said card. Looking around on the ATI site but so far I'm turning up no solutions.

Good news for you then! They're running out of boxes so... in awhile they'll open up digital downloads which will be cheaper. How much though, I have no clue.
