  1. I know I loved the first Payday but have not touched the second one yet. If there will be people playing it about I will most definitely get it though.
  2. Jup, so already have it, cannot wait until the 8th.
  3. If there are people interested in playing yet for instance have never played a MOBA game at all or are just not familiar with the mechanics, I am more than happy to help out and run a few bot games explaining the things and then onto actual competitive games to help out get a better understanding and grip. So no need to shy away if you're uncertain or don't feel that you're any good. Everyone counts and matters and I am more than happy to help out.
  4. Seeing as quite a few seem to be into MOBA games especially with the influx of fresh blood, was wondering if there were those who also played DotA2 to see if we have enough members for some team games. Now that it is finally out, it is free to play from the Steam store for everyone who did not have it earlier. The game itself is quite similar to League of Legends with some key differences such as denying for instance. But regardless, any of those who already play or are interested in playing it?
  5. FFFFFFFFFFFF my back... ;_;

  6. Weekend spent with beer, sauna and ATV trips. May every weekend be like that.

  7. Hey, at least the Xbox One has upgraded it's nickname from 'Sexbox' to 'Xbone'. Think this should be mentioned a few times, definitely a worthy upgrade. But either way hoping to see some awesome optimization from the Xbox side. Sure, the specs speak for itself and I am a bit skeptical, but only time will tell how they manage to play it out. You can have all the hardware in the world but if it does not have the software to back it up, then yeah. I really hope they don't fall in the can with the 'Every PC, console and handheld device running on the same OS' dream.
  8. I think my VCR from the year of 1986.... 7? had more design style than this. Either way we can only hope that they have some kind of absolutely INSANE optimization going on there.
  9. Eh, the specs aren't that much worse than the PS4 though, but considering how bad the PS4 already is, yeah. Just made it a bar lower. Sure, the games WILL run on it, but they will have to down the settings so much to run it smoothly. Eh, just sad. Next gen console that is barely enough to run current games? What I find funny, if I remember correct, the PS4 holds an AMD processor, whilst Xbox One holds ATI Xenos graphics card. Talk about playing both fields!
  10. Oh most definitely! Summers of early childhood. <3

  12. That, and I don't think the PSU will be sufficient enough for a truly high end card. It will run, but along the lines of hardcore no lube.
  13. Can you tell me how much space do you exactly have there for the card so that you can actually use your HDD?

    Isn't that a rule with everything pretty much? xD But if all goes well, will have to reread plenty of times and improve.

    SQL help

    Yes, Java is, but it is required since I am not going to try and make parts in PHP and ActionScript can go suck it. D: So it will be Java. And yeah, will have to try and make the database as compact as possible considering the data amount being filtered and moved through will be quite considerable. Also thanks for the pointers. xD
  16. Well a large part of that space is probably taken up by the image of the operating system drive itself(At least it should have it there, if not you should be able to create it in the tool), the rest of the space is used by smaller tools and some of the space is definitely kept open for additional backups that the user would do for various files that are selected. But in general speaking, no recovery tool is 100% proof. What I do is divide the HDD into two partitions. One for the system files plus area for them to expand and the other for personal files so if something breaks, I can just format my OS partition, reinstall the windows with ease and leave my personal files on the other partition untouched. But otherwise, the tools themselves should be the same as on the recovery disk. The only difference would be the OS image and HP's own data storage/backup exchanged for your own, since if the HDD fails completely, I have my doubts the HP tools could get it back be it a disk or large chunk of your hard drive. But of course this is my opinion and general process.
  17. With all these assumptions going on, I decided to finally take a few minutes to look it up and copy paste what the partition is good for, with the tool found in Control Panel as well. Too many uncertain answers and I am just bored at work with just coffee to entertain me through the final hour. xD (As taken from http://h20331.www2.hp.com/Hpsub/cache/312352-0-0-225-121.html )

    Ah yes, my bad about the lack of specification. It'll be in postgreSQL.

    SQL help

    Greetings there, since some around here might know about this then I was wondering if anyone knew a good resource site for SQL. Getting into a project and since there is only one guy who will know how to handle SQL more or less I want to look into it as well to be able to at least help out when needed. I will mostly be dealing with PHP and Java. But yes, my SQL knowledge is very basic so to fully understand everything and make changes to the database, will need some additional info. Found some various sites about, though it is always better to go through the preferred and tested sites.
  20. Difference in functionality. One is a recovery disc that just has basic tools, but as for the HP Recovery partition, as much as I understood it has a compressed image of your current OS drive.
  21. Mother of god... those lasers. They make me sad.
  22. Hopefully! xD And I passed out and missed OPs. xD;
  23. Hopefully some will be trying it out this weekend. I already have mine ready, but still have not gotten enough time to actually do it. xD;
  24. Bah, Transport Tycoon and SimCity2000 go! Whilst the aspects of online can be nice, it just annoys me that if for instance I would go somewhere with my laptop and not have internet connection ,like visiting grandparents since there is absolutely no network coverage there, I would not be able to play it. Pretty much the only annoying thing. Otherwise it is rather nice how they chose that neighboring cities interact and affect each other on some scale. But yes Open Transport Tycoon + Hamachi/Gameranger/Connected homegroup = pure win.
  25. Is the space still missing? Just in case you might want to check for the extra partition or the status of the drive. As the shadowstorage part should generally be around 12-ish GB and definitely not 70. Just go to Control Panel -> Administrative Tools -> Computer Management -> Storage -> Disk Management. From there you should be able to see if the main partition was made too small, if there is a second hidden partition that for some reason is missing a drive letter. Or what the case is.
