Editors can now use /host <name> in streams to host each other!

Idea for use...
I'm streaming and Kavia is streaming. I'll "/host Kavia" in my channel and if I'm an editor I'll go "/host Xoza" in her channel. This will set up a multi-window kind of setup in one area and somewhat merge chat. (I've not played with it quite yet with live streams). It's also a great way to host friends if you're not hosting anything yourself and can use the command up to 3 times per half hour.

I've added a Nightbot command to my stream so Mods can change it as well... command is !host <name> or !unhost <name>

I don't use "Inappropriate for younger audiences". If I don't feel it is appropriate for younger audiences, I naturally don't really feel comfortable streaming it.

Nightbot handles hyperlinks, so I don't usually delete them automatically.

Make sure "Automatically archive my broadcasts" is enabled. This sets Twitch to hold on to your recordings for a few weeks, so you can play with them as you need or upload them to YouTube.

[Streaming tips discussions and updates!]

I don't have any 'good tips'. My stream is pretty dead often also, but I don't mind it. I stream so I have a record to do highlights and so friends can watch as they wish. I do know Twitch has some auto-sharing options, tie them into your twitter, Facebook and set up some linking between them and YouTube with hash-tagging in your titles and it seems people will share and favorite it on their own whim. It should build up gradually, just keep streaming!

We have a villain league at the moment. No hero league yet but I've been asked by a few to make one so I'll probably do that tomorrow.

 

The league isn't super active at the moment. I've recruited a few, but not many have been online lately. Guild tools have been improved by a lot lately, we'll need 125k prestige for a guild hall, it took me a few hours to earn 1k (you get it by killing bosses and few various other things).

 

DCUo is enjoyable once you get it down and understand it, classes are very balanced, queuing is easy, dungeons and raids are a bit restrictive based on gear but great when you get into them, gear is a pain, but gets easier to get as you go. I'd like to write an introduction guide for the game when I get a chance.
