  1. Does reality exist outside of our ability to perceive it?

Is it possible the Universe will stop expanding and fall back into itself, and has this happened before, perhaps an infinite amount of times?

  2. Yay~

a kitty named Bruce I found like a week ago in the parking lot in a box near the bakery with two siblings. He liked to sit on top of my tablet and chase Nevin and Aelus in the sandbox (I found homes for all three of them)

  3. I think it's better to salute as a standard, instead of wondering if you should've. :] If everyone is used to people saluting in greeting you won't ever have to worry if it's okay or not.

I'm also not going to be using gestures anymore, as 'enhancing' as they can be on a conversation (which isn't a whole lot) I know there are some people who start gesture chains upon hearing one, so better safe than sorry. All in all I think it's important to keep a certain atmosphere on base, or I start to feel like I'm back in the sandbox- and then I start feeling like I have to be in admin mode.. which is one reason I come to Titan- to get away from that stuff.

  4. I like the liquid nitrogen and ammonia crystals idea. Maybe make it an effect where if you fall into the liquid nitrogen the pool rezzes hunks of shattered frozen physical body parts that burst outwards and roll before derezzing.

I agree with this.. maybe no the exploding crystallized body parts thing, but I think its a neat idea. Rock clutsters and crystalline structures- but I also like the snow idea, mainly because Titan, as a moon, is an icey cold surface.

  5. So, as most of you know, the terrain on Titan changes between dert and snow as a seasonal balance on Titan. I have however spoken to a few other people who have said they like the Snow more than the soil, and wouldn't mind Titan being a giant arctic tundra moon wasteland all the time. Some people have said they're just kind of starting to get tired of the dirt by now. Some people don't mind it at all. This, however, is really a matter of choice.

    SNOW

    Pros-

In the RL, Titan (Saturn's moon) is extremely cold. With snow, it could look cold too.

Snow makes spotting targets wearing dark armor easier.

    Aryte likes snow.

    Snowmen.

    Cons-

Bright textures, like snow, can cause strain on the eyes over long periods.

Having only snow and no seasonal changes could be monotonous.

    SOIL

    Pros-

Easier on the eyes, darker color.

    Mud wrestling.

Titan's actual surface could be more rocky than icey.

Having the terrain switch could be a welcome minor change every season.

    Cons-

Harder to spot darker targets on a darker background.

    It's dirt.

What is/are your choice(s) and why?

  6. Updated this picture per Aelus request:

Also an FYI- I'm told that Uchi and Equino will be planning and running a Second Life meet-up at the next AC. If you have any suggestions or anything like that feel free to bother them.

Also just a cool fact I realized:

Ante Flan and Kabangeh are identical twins in RL.

Aelus is also an identical twin in RL

and I am an identical twin in RL.

    Crazy stuff aye?

    My leopard gecko, Crookshanks.

Who I got from my unbiological bro, Tigerpaw. :]

Then I just started collecting free lizards.

Then there was a carpet melting incident involving a heatlamp.

  8. I'm going.

We should have Ordo badges so we can find eachother!

I would like to go, I need a ride from Alabama to AC although.

Lemme know if you have a extra seat =3

I have a lot of friends in the RL fandom from Bama. (I grew up in Birmingham) I'll see how my bro is planning on heading up there or some of our buddies, like Kiran or Kyomana if you want. Unless you only feel safe in the vehicle of another Ordo.

Really? I was considering FWA but I don't have any extra money to spend at all since I'm at school with no job. But I didn't know that, I'll keep that in mind for future convention possibilities.

Lol, he was talking about me. As far as my way to AC, I'm probably most likely either going to go however my brother is going (which might be a ride up with Jacent, Bonk, Zim Puc and Scry or whoever else) or I'm going to be flying up to Kentucky to go the rest of the way with Equino and a few other Ryder people. Not sure at the moment but I'll try to figure that out myself this week. If I have enough cash by then you might could mooch for awhile (unless I'm flying, and then we'll just have to find you a comfortable suitcase to crawl into for a few hours. <_<)

  9. Oooh, that is nice! You have a website you put it up on at all?

I have some friends that go to SCAD. It's probably about half an hour away from me (the Atlanta SCAD is, at least.) I hear it's a good school, but that most of the professors are graduates themselves. (I don't quite know if that's a good thing or a bad thing.) From what I heard though, it's a very nice school. Probably much cheaper and less stressful than AIA.

I'd love to do some art trades with you sometime if you're interested. :]
