  1. Quoted for epic point.

But I wouldn't blame him. He's probably realized, with Uildiar's help, that his own shitstained tail is scary and, for the betterment of YouTube and all of society, Lord Christoph Naumova, the UBER GOOD VANGARD SOLJA, graced us all with his divine intervention, saving us from the very horrors he unleashed upon the world. How good natured and thoughtful, not to mention generous, of him.

    Quoted for ultra epic point.

  2. Keno, if you have your two computers on the same LAN -- AKA through the same router or whatnot -- you can just Remote Desktop to the IP of the other computer on your LAN.

I have a fileserver underneath my TV, about six feet from where I'm sitting, and I can Remote Desktop to it by putting, like, "192.168.1.130" which is the local-LAN IP of it. It doesn't go any further than my router, and then to the other computer.

I dided eit, Remote desktop only runs basic graphics drivers through it and you cant open anything usefull besides firefox and notepad.

  3. Okay, people. I am attempting to take lazyness to the next level and I will require the assistance of all you brave souls.

    This is the situation.

I have a PC Desktop (XP Pro) that runs all the games and stuff I want.

I have a laptop (Vista Home) that is a worthless piece of shit.

Now what I would like to be able to do is lay in my bed with my laptop and play SL or whatever but this is not possible because the laptop sucks.

But then I had an idea, what if I could link my laptop to my desktop? The laptop would essentially act as a dumb terminal to my desktop (I would see my desktop PC through the laptop screen and could use the laptop mousepad/key board).

Ok so, any ideas? I tried google but I only found the crap where you connect through the internet and stuff which would obviously be slower than a direct connection since the laptop and desktop would be a fucking metre apart.

My only other option is to drag my screen and keyboard shit over to my bed....

Yeah, the elevators are handy. In the heat of combat, it'll be rather difficult to climb up stairs, especially if we're being besieged by a laggy military like the GR. An elevator may have some performance issues, but it's more reliable then trying to run up a circular staircase while being pelted with dozens of orange prim-dodging bullets.

Rather than move up really slowly, right?
