Some of the earliest were CO2 powered :3 I run propane in my gas Ruger Mk3 (Obviously you have to add silicone) but its worlds cheeper than the lubricated unscented "green gas". Also, whoever said, fewer rounds... Most airsoft guns hold the standard amount for the gun, although many have high capacity magazines, that have the 30 round area, and then a storage area that you fill from via a crank wheel on the bottom.

With the massive heavy weapons, its already in place.. but for the other ones, I'd say not to. I'd keep it by situation, not unlock. If we are in a small assault or high lag, Yeah, count the AXE's, FA-6's, Ganz's, Cerberus', and Fury of Saints, ect as heavy weapons, and go by situation and type. In normal combat though, Asking someone (like me :>) to take off their pump action 590A1 because they dont have the shotgun unlock doesn't seem "fair". Furthermore, on some raids its already specified Ordo Euippment Only which does not mean "Ordo Approved". If its not approved, why is it on in the first place >.> But Yeah.. Rambles :D

I made a version to use as a wall paper. Its a special version of the cross I edited a bit for size and then put on top of a black background a with a slight glow. I then use it as a back ground and set it to "centered" mode and put the rest to a full black background. There should be some pictures off it from when I took some snapshots of my desk and stuff, but I have the fail if anyone wants it.

They did this at New Jessie with the Erazer, so dont feel bad :< Also, Its more than a different version. What they showed you was probably "Auto Rifle" mode, which fires one bullet at a time, and is fairly legit. What they would be using would be "Minigun" mode, which fires 2 bullets at a time (LOL DOUBLE BARREL HURR!), or "Unlimited" which is infinite ammo "Minigun" mode. Furthermore... What Geodan was using was actually the Eraser scripts shoved into the Eliminator model, which in and of itself is just the Eraser model, with the drum mad removed and side grip turn downed to look like a magazine, and a camo texture changed from the metal texture. As listed in the report, this was evident from the 5-bullet spread that was fired from his gun with each shot. This 5-bullet spread is the trademark of the Eraser's "Minigun" mode and also why he claims in his description of "The most versitile gun available for SL combat" can fire 2700 round per minute... because it rezzes 5 at a time. From a discussion with Scylla about the Eraser when it was under review at New Jessie (Caine said it was fine but I wasnt convinced) he would get extremely defensive whenever scripts would come up, saying he was an experianced coder who could script circles around me and how dare I question his abilities. If the man cant make his own bullet script, I kinda doubt his actually scripting abilities, and feel bad for anyone who pays $1200L for the Eraser (you cannot buy the Eliminator, it is sent out once you buy the Eraser with a notecard that basically saying "The Eraser sucked and got banned, have this nearly identical thing that is marginally toned down). I have some of the scripts that he didnt perm (cause he didnt make them). So yeah... Good Riddance to bad rubbish. More Rants Tonight... Woot. ~Tsume

Great post and Im glad to see you are enjoying things so far. :D My biggest remarks are with the defensive stuff, mostly where I agree and have stuff to add :o The clustering and jumping into bullets is a several part problem, but can be broken into 3 main parts: Clustering. Communication. Excessive fire. Clustering is its own problem. Makes people a big target for one explosive, sweep of gunfire ect. It also increases friendly fire.. which leads to the next two points... Communication of who is engaging who is key. If there are 3 people int he south who are engaging, the other people in the north shouldnt engage unless the people in the south request help, or need another angle of fire. The main reason full out engagement from all sides should be avoided is the third point... Excessive fire is more than just unneeded. Yes, you have unlimited supplies of ammo, doesn't mean you should just fire it off. As in the above mentioned situation, if the northern defenders fire when not needed that cluster in the south could easily be hit. Additionally, firing at targets behind extremely heavy cover, such as mountains, is useless. Firing at the location where someone who was just shot was, silly and pointless. Although in severe lag it can be attributed to phasing/temp ghosting of the avatar, a good rule of thumb is that if they stopped moving in a barrage of bullets, they are dead. The "tactical" aspect of surpressive fire doesnt really hold up in SL, because pining them down is best used for flanking, and stopping the enemy from taking the route.. the latter not plausible because they can just back up and walk around, the former not plauseable on defense because we arent permitted to go past the ravine... Excessive fire also adds to physics and script load that could be left available simply by not firing. A lot of small things add up, and in this case, can add up very quickly. YAY RANTING :D SO YEAH!
