I'm sure my drivers are up to date but I can redo them, I did the vista x64 drivers like supposed too D: and steam gives an error on windows boot then refuses to open. SL just crashes <_< as for compatibilty mode is there some feature that flips everythign or is it done through each individual program becuase as before; crashes or gives dll errors. But i ll keep tinkering, tis a slow day.

I've been dicking around on it at work trying it on my gaming laptop and just wondering if anyone has found a steam or sl fix for the x64 bit Ultimate edition D: apparently its hit and miss if it'll work perfectly or just bomb. Theres no support for it until its released (oct 22.) just wondering if anyone else knows how to tinker with it *stares at kytec all awesome like*

well yeah minus backups, quick hdd format, quick xp disc (if you don't have one haha) windows installation (states it takes approx 39 minutes complete but with a half decent speed computer can be cut in 1/2) and drivers. Done. Usually if you ran updates you're chunking on massive times unless you download the files manually and store them for future usage.

okay wow ...just wow lol why is it everyone just reformats when something happens, there is actually a really quick way to do a virus cleanup and it uses all freely available tools @-@ but then again I guess if there wasn't anything important on the computers reformatting is an easy fix, unless you don't have a 2nd computer to grab drivers ;P but most get lucky and it'll find the LAN drivers in the installation disc.
