Okay folks. I have some bad news. The bad news is that I will *not* be returning to Michigan, which means that I will not be on SL in January. It's not exactly what I wanted to have happen, for sure. But opportunity arose for me to go to school and I chose that over returning to a life of sitting on my ass and being totally useless in society. I still miss you all. In fact, I think about how ya'll are doing pretty frequently. I wish I could visit some of you. :C But anyway, that's the bad news. It's a hard pill to swallow, but shit happens--right? I'm not sure when I'll be back, but for now--I just wanted to update you. ...and tell you guys I'm still alive, in some form~ The Good news is that I'm going to be getting a car very soon and that I'll be refunded my financial aid money as soon as I'm set into classes. That means that I might be able to take a Florida-Specific roadtrip to start off with, using the money that I'd be getting back. This means that all you Florida Ordo might get a visit from me -- if you want me to come, that is. xD Also, some of that refund money will go toward the purchase of a new computer. I was going to do a donation drive, for the rest of the money--but I don't know what people would think about that. c.c It's an idea, though. I wish you all the best, from the bottom of my heart~ I hope, when I do come back, everyone remembers me and that things aren't too different. *salutes* For the Imperator and long live the Ordo Imperialis~! (If you come up with a question of your own, ask it! I'll answer it if I see it!) My own answers; 1) I think that I would like to have a large yacht, that you could live in, in my possession. Why? It opens doors for a whole new kind of freedom, something that I think would be different from owning a car or a plane. I'd love to live on the ocean for a while every year. 2) I think that I would have loved to pursue my childhood dream of piloting helicopters. Specifically the Apache Longbow A H 64-D or something like it. xD 3) I want to be Einstein. It would have been amazing to live through his life or even create a new one. 4) I'd love to be living in Japan, to be honest. I don't know, but it seems the place to be--considering the field I am/would be going into.

I can't do any of that. :C I have no money, no car, no job. But at least I've finally found a path for myself!

[Conversation today, with my mother.] Mom: "You should get a job." Me: "I know.." Mom: "You can't take staples out of pieces of paper, but I'm sure there's a job out there for you that doesn't involve so much work." Me: ¬_¬ *not amuse*

It rained, so no shooting. But I got to see the range, which is a really nice range. :3 It was a fun fun day. We went all over the Venice, Port Charlotte, North Port area ... it was just a bit of an adventure! Yeah. I know. XD Just saying. Mom's packin' teh heat!! lol. Nice picture there, darlin'. xD Mom's taking me to go look at guns this week if not next weekend. I might get a semi-automatic, like a Glock or something. I dunno.. It really all depends.

I might get to shoot too.. if all goes well. I dunno though, I was allowed to hold her .357 . . That's a .. really heavy gun. xD Never held one or seen one IRL, so it was a new experience. o:

Well, I need transportation to do anything. xD My mother works at 2 insurance agencies and only has weekend time to herself. And even then, she goes to tthe gun range to practice with her .357 and does other things. BUT I WILL SEE WHAT I CAN GET DONE. :P

So, I'm settled into Florida. It was interesting, 'cause my friend down the street was a little *too* excited I was back in town. He totally dropped his Xbox 360, a one-month subscription, and his DJ Hero controller on me .. said "has dis wile momma is 'way" .. so I played the hell out of COD:MW2 and DJ Hero (which I suck at, by the way)... I also spent hours customizing my VAIO's Ubuntu 10.4... found out GDM themes were discontinued, so I was all kinds of >:C to my Linux-smart friends. And we're all hoping they bring back that feature, so I can have a few themes lined up (for now I have a Ordo Theme that I made myself) .. but there are full themes, with sounds and shit, that I want to implement .. c.c Plz come back, GDM theme capabilities! Anyway.. Found out that Ubuntu haet everything about Second Life, including the text only clients (more of an experimentation than an actual attempt to get on)... Got this program called 'Mangler' that allows me to access the Ventrillo server without having to wrestle with Wine. And it runs smoothly when I totally eliminate the on-board sound capabilities (basically limit sound to headsets/headphones) .. so I've made my laptop silent except when you wear headphones, etc. Uh... My dogs got fat while I was away. That made me giggle so hard .. xD A lot has changed, thanks to my mother ... but I'm hoping that I can get in contact with Florida friends and possibly make new ones. :D! Well, that's all from me.. If you see music in my comments, it means that I am incapable of talking or hearing you .. but know that I am checking in with you guys as much as possible.
