That particular tradition is a LOT of fun in RL, and there is a pay off for having the coins.. as you pointed out, the buying of beer at a bar when you're the odd man out.. SL's a bit different. I think Jeff's asking what are they for in Ordo and what can they be used for here, in this context.

All really depends on what's available up there.. Im fairly certain she can find Bell or Rogers, they're not the -cheapest- but they're the most reliable as far as connectivity goes. There may be a local provider there as well, couldnt hurt to google it.

There is a game commonly played by children called "making the rounds".. it's also called the Mommy-Daddy game. You dont get what you want from one parent, so you go ask the other. I want to make this perfectly clear to everyone in Ordo... Dont pull this with Curia, we talk.. all of us.. we talk a lot. If you dont get the response you want from one individual, dont go to another trying to get it changed, because it wont happen. We, in Curia, are of one mind.. the Consuls discuss everything before a decision is made, and you bouncing from one to the next isnt going to do anything but weaken your case. While I have your attention, there are a few other things I think we all need a reminding of. Anything and everything that Curia handles, is of a confidential nature.. AKA Need to know AKA if you're not in Curia, you dont need to know unless one of us approach you about it. We dont discuss ongoing cases, whether it be CiRs, Applications into Ordo, applications into Curia etc, because it is Confidential in nature. We are bound by a set of rules that do not allow us to discuss these things for two reasons.. First of all, it's an ethical issue, secondly it's a matter of Comm Sec, or Communication Security.. it also falls under Op Sec, Operational Security. So, please.. do your selves a favor, do US a favor, and if you're approached by ANYONE, inside Ordo, outside Ordo.. applicants.. whatever.. very politely remind them that the people they need to talk to are Heather, Kristian, or I. If they dont get the response they like from us, having one of you guys come to us about it..isnt going to change matters any. And for the love of us all, dont play the mommy daddy game.. all its going to do is aggrivate me, and that's not a good thing. One small detail you nub nubs forgot about PvP ganks... 99.9999999% of PvP gankers have the attention span of a head of lettuce. If they gank ya, you sit dead for like 30s after you come back to your body.. and just wait for them to go do somethin else. They're no better than the lonewolves we deal with here on Titan, they gank because it's easy, but if you make'm wait and play YOUR game.. IE not rushing into the North Objective to try to get them out, but rather waiting laying traps and waiting for them to come to us... you win 100% of the time. Take away their fun, and they go away.

Ever since 1 November 1921, it has been a standing order that three things take place on the birthday of the Marine Corps every 10th November. First, a formation is held by every Marine Command across the globe given the safety of the Marines under their charge. Second, the Birthday Message written by General John A Lejeune is read as a reminder of who the Marines were, who they are, and who they will be. Finally, there is a traditional cutting of cake whereby the eldest Marine present, passes the first piece to the youngest Marine Present. This signifies the act of passing the duty of the Corps, the passing of knowledge, and the passing of tradition on to the next generation. In Ordo, we hold a very similar tradition. Every 5th November we gather, we remember, and we pass on everything we've learned to the next generation. The ceremony held earlier tonight during the Group Meeting, to me, completes two of the three standing orders for Marines, I offer the third part for all of our Marines here in Ordo, at home with their families, or abroad serving their Country and their Corps. I know it's a few days early but I'll be at work on the 236th birthday of the Marine Corps and will celebrate it in my own way. Semper Fi Marines.

I know exactly what you mean Nrom.. My original computer had an NVidia Card in it, with Intel processors etc..and it was great till it finally died. Every card ive had after that has always either fried after 6 mos or just flat stopped working with no explaination. I had a couple techs I know check'em out and they couldnt find anything physically wrong with them or with the main board. Soon as I moved up to an ATI Radeon Card, Ive had zero problems and my frame rates actualy improved massively. The ONLY concerns I have with PSUs are the same I have with HDDs, I want hardware with a good track record, with lots of happy customers etc. The one I have right now is just a generic OEM PSU and its lasted almost 10 years. My wife and I got it shortly after we were married and its been great thus far, but it's finally just starting to die... the fan's sputtering, it's overheating and I have to keep a deskfan turned on with the case open just so I can use my computer, none of which pleases me all that much lol. This is why I was just looking into an upgrade rather than a new system. The system itself is bullet proof for the most part, Im just talkin about replacing the oldest parts with newer/better and upgrade as systems fail here and there. More expensive in the long run, but short term, it gets me where I need to be.... for the most part.

Personally, I cant stand Nvidia.. every system Ive ever had Nvid in, has had issues. Radeon cards, at least from my experience combined with Intel processors have given me the most power, the least problem and the best bang for my buck.. but its definately worth looking into.
