Aryte
The responsibility of routine training has primarily been left at the branch and unit level. However, with recognition that these activities are sometimes difficult to achieve without administrative oversight (as in, approval to utilize the region), it has been decided that two combat practice routines will be hosted weekly at varying times. Participation is encouraged. The schedule will be announced at least a couple days prior to the event, in order to allow everyone an opportunity to partake. Training routines will be designed to encompass a range of scenarios that could be experienced on the battlefield, providing the Ordo members with the chance to hone their talents. Weekly combat practices will eventually be part of a wider movement, alongside academy activities (reference link:http://www.ordoimperialis.com/ordo/forum/viewthread.php?forum_id=28&thread_id=1210 ). To streamline the process and to clarify all matters within the Ordo, a schedule will be released every Sunday that encompasses the next week
Agares Tretiak
As a Praetorian, I'd like to make a few positive points about regularly attending training.- It's a great way to get to know and make friends within the group.- It helps keep you sharp and ready for combat.- It develops coordination and teamwork with your comrades.- It will help you develop new skills in combat, as well as a chance to test techniques you have heard of or a new weapon you just unlocked. And not just for these reasons, should you attend! There's many more. Also, remember that for many, though the training is not mandatory, it is highly recommended. For the Praetorians, they -must- attend a certain number of specific training sessions or risk various demerits. Those of you hoping for a commission or special commission in the Ordo should take your training very seriously, because the command staff and of course the Imperator will take notice of participation.I remember being told that "90% of success is being there". Keep that in mind, especially in the Ordo! An excellent officer, skill wise is useless, if he's not able to make the needed commitment of being present and ready. The same goes for anyone who dreams of being a Praetorian or joining one of the other special branches.

Jayce Iredell
So perhaps a calendar on this site with the weeks and months upcoming training sessions could be useful in the future.
Lestat Umarov
Those who ask "What's in it for me?" speak heresy...
Agares Tretiak
Indeed they do. For all the above written reasons. And because the Holy Imperator is merciful.
