The purpose of this document shall be to outline the method of tracking, resources involved, the tiers of available reward, and eligibility of time spent.❍ Method of MonitoringMercury shall monitor time spent in the role of “NC/OIC” via registering a running tally, based upon the current holder of the “NC/OIC” role notated on the system. In order for time to be registered properly, a prospective defense commander must ensure Mercury properly identifies them as the presiding NC/OIC. There shall not be compensation for disputed time based upon failure to ensure proper system registry. Additionally, in the event that Mercury is experiencing difficulties designating the base commander, it shall be the holder’s responsibility to notify the current head of Mercury Technologies: Inoue Katsu.❍ Eligible Time and PersonnelAn individual shall only accrue time as the base commander during DEFCON4 or greater. As such, when the region is locked at designated DEFCON5 (vacation), there shall not be any opportunity to earn OIC time-in-service points.All personnel are included in this opportunity. Officers shall not automatically accrue or receive compulsory access to any unlock or perk included within this program.
