[18:02] Aryte Vesperia: Currently sitting at 214, with (surprisingly enough) two unaccounted folks with locked accounts. Bruce . . I don't want to ask. Eazy still owes LL 5 dollars.

[18:03] Aryte Vesperia: Truth be told, I have not taken a moment to look over the Schola numbers. I know we accepted fourish applications and denied twice that.

[18:04] Aryte Vesperia: Combat activity was up much higher than the last couple of weeks, back to our pre-holiday norms.

[18:04] Aryte Vesperia: No complaints there. All deployments were very enjoyable and well fought. Diplomatically, we've seen the entrance (or at least, awareness of) several new enemy forces.

[18:05] Aryte Vesperia: CATI, the disgruntled Brazilians in Eagle Nebula, are a prominent target.

[18:05] Aryte Vesperia: Most recently, TCG, a very old enemy, has returned to the visible scene.

[18:06] Aryte Vesperia: TCG's leader, Griffith Benelli, formerly led MDF.

[18:06] Aryte Vesperia: As anyone who reads their history should know: we annihilated the MDF.

[18:07] Aryte Vesperia: Er. . Griffin Yeats. Benelli is his alt, I believe?

[18:07] Aryte Vesperia: Too many "G" names.

[18:08] Aryte Vesperia: Another group has made an appearance in the region of Eon.

[18:08] Aryte Vesperia: "Knights Sentinel."

[18:09] Aryte Vesperia: It is . . essentially, ex-VG, ex-Sparta, and other quasi-griefers (Maza Rau) making out for try #49230 of being "cool kids."

Divisional reports

Astra:

[18:10] Aryte Vesperia: Moving on. Division reports?

[18:10] Fermi Torok raises his hand, "I've been appointed to speak for Astra this week."

[18:11] Aryte Vesperia: Fermi, go ahead.

[18:11] Fermi Torok: There were two goals set at the beginning of the week. The first was to finish the reforming of the Apostles, which included concluding the new flight instructor evaluations and testing. Progress has been made in that regard, but this goal remains unsatisfied. Kristian, who heads the Apostle reform, is absent with schooling, so changes may be a little slow.

[18:12] Fermi Torok: The second was structure discussion and revision. Some debate took place in the forums and in ventrilo. We've decided to cramp the most active individuals into one squadron, while the rest are put into another. This other squadron will serve as the "Training and Reserve" squadron. So, it will also include trainees. Details are in the Astra forum, and a new Astra roster draft should be completed soon for review.

[18:12] Fermi Torok: What preoccupied many of us this week was an influx of new pilots. We received six new pilots in the span of roughly a week, which has to be a new record. Three were Schola graduates, while the other three were transfers. We welcome your presence graciously.

[18:13] Fermi Torok: On the subject of trainees, We'd like to proudly announce that we've gained two graduate pilots; this week, who are now wearing their well earned wings. Hopefully in the coming week we will see more faces of Astra work their way through training regimen and earn their mark as a certified pilot.

[18:13] Fermi Torok: Next week Astra will continue to work on the Apostles and its new instructors as best as it can, in addition to settling into a revised structure.

[18:14] Ethan Schuman: Firstly, our new weapons are finished. I'd like to extend a special thanks to Keystone Gray and Sera Otoro. It is my hope that these weapons will serve us well on the unfortunate instances where we cannot use our ships.

[18:14] Ethan Schuman: Secondly, training has begun. The first session of orientation occured last night, with more to follow this Sunday. Numbers were decent, with many non-Navis personnel in attendance. Thanks to all who came. More of these sessions, as well as small arms familiarization, will likely happen later in the day (likely around 8:00PM SLT). Speak with me after the meeting if you wish to know more about the Navis training regiment.

[18:15] Ethan Schuman: On that note, those of you in Navis who have not turned in your schedules need to do so. Make sure Keystone has them. I won't be making promotion recommendations until the majority of the group has turned in their schedules (unless you've already turned yours in).

[18:15] Ethan Schuman: Thirdly, Navis is in dire need of a new ship. I know we have a lot of scripters, and those of ou with capital ship experience are requested to notify myself or Centurion Rei Kuhr. The Admonitor is old and outdated, and can only serve us as a primary ship for a little while longer. We have frames and concepts, all we need is a team to work on them.

[18:16] Ethan Schuman: I cannot stress this last point enough. We're coming down to a wire. I'm asking ANY of you with naval experience or engineering expertise to step forward.

[18:17] Ethan Schuman: This concludes the Navis report for this week.

Terra:

[18:17] Aryte Vesperia: Excellent, thank you.

[18:17] Aryte Vesperia: With Lestat's absence, I will cover the Terra report.

[18:17] Aryte Vesperia: A few primary notes of interest. Foremost, two octet command roles have been replaced. Knightblade Fayray and Dralkanen Hextall have fallen into idleness.

[18:17] Aryte Vesperia: Their replacements will be announced during the promotionary session.

[18:18] Aryte Vesperia: All of the Terra officers will be approached today and tomorrow about giving spot-progress checks, in order to get a feel for the progress and understanding of their expectations. As Terra's size continues to be a situation we're grappling with, the need to keep a dynamic, effective Terra has become more pressing.

[18:19] Aryte Vesperia: Heavy emphasis has been placed onto elite squads as the flagship, tip of the spear. However, the remaining 80+ Terra will see a change within the coming weeks as gear allocation and training begins to take full steam.

[18:20] Aryte Vesperia: Terra's new approach will be to move further away from "here's a gun, shoot shit," to elite and combat intensive.

[18:20] Aryte Vesperia: Although Terra combat performance has always been quite remarkable, the desire to achieve greater heights will push all levels of Terra, regardless of alpha-squad status, to a new level.
